My daughter has been given the Vintage v red foo fighters napa valley california skull T-Shirt it is in the first place but conversation of, you are the company you keep. It’s forced her to understand that not everyone is a good friend (unfortunately we had to push her a bit, she’s stubborn) but she came back from school one day and told us that she thinks this one particular friend doesn’t actually care about her and that she finally agreed with us. It felt nice knowing she finally understood. The more selfless and caring kids have a hard time at first not realizing that everyone doesn’t think and feel the way they do. It’s such a shock, honestly. You just think everyone thinks and feels the same, and that they’ll consider x, y, and z variables…but they don’t. Then you realize it’s almost unfair to expect them to. Growing up is hard lol the world is fair, people are not. They sell frickin water.

I think that’s why the Vintage v red foo fighters napa valley california skull T-Shirt it is in the first place but golden rule was invented, I actually asked my kids today if they knew the golden rule and after some questioning they did, but it should be taught everywhere, always. Treat others the way you want to be treated. It’s so important and so easy to teach. I was a camp counselor and did the same thing with two girls who were (fist) fighting. They had to hold hands for an entire minute without laughing. It took them a good four or five minutes to do so and they were having so much fun the entire time they immediately went back to hanging out all day. That lasted about two days until they got into another fight and refused to be friends for the rest of the camp. Our “fight” was more like me trying to chase him for 15mins until a coach noticed that we weren’t just playing. I was big but he was fast lol. We were best friends until there was a situation where I immediately chose to cut him off. (Can’t really go too far into that without unironic trigger warnings.)
