I am not being considered for the next hiring phase (interview). I tell him. He says he’ll look into it. Nothing. Ghosted by all of them. Pretty awkward too because we were always friendly after our last work experience together. He was always a reference of mine. Someone fucked up at that company and didn’t tell Mr. Resume rejector what my name was or who I was. Sad that it’s truly not what you know, it’s who you know. Guess I didn’t play their game right.
