I think all of us have a culture. It mostly depends on what part of the Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt in addition I really love this country you’re born and raised in, and your parents’ own culture. I guess people say that cause traditional white culture became so dominant/popular that a lot of non white people adopted it, to the point that it no longer sticks out as culturally unique, for example a lot of non white people celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween etc., so these things no longer feel culturally unique to white people, on the other hand non Indians don’t celebrate Diwali, or non Chinese don’t celebrate Chinese new year etc., so these cultural events stick out as more unique. Also most white Americans lost touch with their European heritage, they don’t speak the language, they don’t know the old school customs / traditions etc., the other minorities have parents who are recent immigrants so they are still close to their heritage, but by the 3rd generation onwards they too lose their connections to their old homes, and adopt more standard American culture As other people said, like a fish describing water. It just is everyth8ing we do from pledge of allegiance at 7am in school, to the president addressing the entire world right from your dinning room at night.

Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt

Sometimes I like to pretend my heritage isn’t from the Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt in addition I really love this boat step for step beside racism, pillaging, and genocide. Because white encompasses too many different cultures. If instead you said British, French Italian etc you might actually be able to discern specific culture partly because usa is so diverse, spread out and large population. “white americans’ encompasses italian, german, spanish, british, russian, polish, ukraine, irish, scottish, british, welsh, romania, hungary and many many more heritages. Each may have their own traditions. i laugh all the time at “stuff white people do” and stuff white people like..which often has some truth to the posts, videos or lists. Because it was all borrowed from other races and cultures. I’ll start: Country music originated from black communities. 351 more repliesBecause racists convinced everybody that you’re not actually Polish/italian/irish/scottish/german. You’re white, and you’re evil and you suck and you founded this country in slavery in 1619. It’s not no culture it’s just way less. US has like 500 years of cultural development. Compared to just about everywhere else having 1000s of years of cultural development. Because they don’t. All of you have come from some European country. That’s your culture. But it seems that most of you have forgotten where your ancestors came from. Must suck to be American.

Because they don’t. Whiteness is a sociopolitical class. There are ethnicities of white people that have their own distinct cultures but most white Americans do not identify with those elements. So what even is white culture. Unlike Black American culture I can’t name anything that’s unique to white Americans other than chattel slavery and Jim Crow. Interesting question because why do so many around the Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt in addition I really love this world want to live here? I mean besides the fact that we let anyone and everyone just walk in and stay forever, unlike any other developed nation in the world. Copium. Those who cannot compete in wealth and might will always cope by portraying themselves as culturally superior. Half of Canadian identity is literally “We aren’t savages like those Americans” for example.

Because “white” isn’t a culture. You can have cultural customs within a particular segment of white (Irish, Croatian, whatever) but white Americans don’t have “a culture” specific to being white. (Unless you want to classify white supremacist culture as white American culture, but I’m sure you don’t want to do that, even though it’s true.) And much more, and this was just Europe. Africa and the Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt in addition I really love this east had a lot going on before America was even becoming America. So technically America is a young culture because there simply been less time as a culture. It is also a country of immigrants, despite how Republicans think things are it was settlers from the British Empire and Europe that Colonised the land mass that became America. Everything from that from language, culture, technology came from there. I get the meaning of your post and yes, when Europe people see all these Tik Tok’s from Americas that make them want to face palm on a more historical sense America really has a young culture compared to most of the world.

What do you think believe white people have no culture? We have the Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt in addition I really love this culture that has dominated all other cultures – as a matter of fact that a central theme of our culture. Everywhere has culture. People from places where cultures are older struggle to understand the culture of immigration counties because it isn’t neatly defined, so they say those countries don’t have culture. Well, we kind of don’t. The only “culture” revolves around what stuff you can buy. My great grandfather was Czech. My grandma grew up with traditional dances and cultural activities. I’ve never experienced any of them. I’ve tried to create traditions but without community participation, they are unlikely to continue. It affects every ethnic group, I think. It’s sad bc I think we’ve lost something good. Ok I’m really sorry but it’s so fuckin funny how youre all out here claiming youre irish English Scottish from 6 damn generations ago but when someone says you don’t have a unique culture suddenly you manage to claim speaking English and eating red meat as uniquely American pmslllllll
Then, when white Americans want to see where in Europe their ancestors were from, they get ridiculed for that by Europeans. What is American culture? I guess we’ve got the Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt in addition I really love this California style rock ‘n’ rolling surfer type, we’ve got Cowboys, we’ve got highly educated aficionados of art and fine foods in the north east, there’s African-American influences dirty white Floridians giving all of us a bad name, rednecks and hillbillies… What else? I’m not sure what exactly American culture is. All of it? I am white, I just leach of the cultures around me. What culture we do I have I fucking despise. We have a holiday that’s all about a feast and the food is turkey mashed potatoes and soggy casseroles. I know other Americans eat their ethnicities food and I’d much rather do that. White people have plenty of culture. You’re not seeing it. My Wife is Irish-American and they lay culture out like crazy. Irish mythology is pretty awesome so is St. Patrick’s day, Step dance, awesome Gaelic music, Language. I mean even their names have spread all over the world.
As a cuban/Mexican/American, I do love me some good ol’ white people comfort food. Biscuits and gravy, meatloaf and mashed potato, burger and fries, and occasionally some Wendy’s drive thru I know this is a food reference but food is part of culture mmmkay My understanding is that the Unsettling San Diego Padres Shirt in addition I really love this idea that white people have no culture exists because “white” is an arbitrary physical characteristic with no defining culture associated with it, and many white Americans don’t do anything to keep their actual hereditary cultures (English, German, Irish, etc.) alive. And it’s not something that was forced on us, the way Black Americans had their heritage stolen from them, but something we seemingly gave up voluntarily in favor of “assimilation.”
