I’m doing it as a hobby and for fun. I create DIY videos on how to perform maintenance on a specific motorcycle model. I also do it for my own records so that I don’t forget how to perform the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this procedures in the future or for my young son who might want the motorcycle in the future. I play Adult visual novels on YouTube and if I did it to make money then I would do it on platforms that allows nudity and adult scenes (I’ve even been asked by one such platform even) but I want to showcase that these games are amazing stories that just happen to have sex scenes as well so I’m sticking to YouTube Yh I started a my channel a year ago purely for looking back on. Mostly fishing videos with one or two abandoned building I enjoy making videos as a hobby and learning along the way. While I have taken breaks, I always end up returning. It’s been almost 7 years now.
Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt: Perfect for Fans
Yep! I do it because I have memories and ideas to immortalize, and I want to do it via video. Growth would be nice but I don’t plan to bend over backwards or drastically step away from my style to get it. Me. Couldn’t care less what “sells”, what’s popular, or what “the/an audience” wants to see. I do it cause myself, my friends, and my niece and nephew enjoy watching the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this videos I make. Me! I think its totally fine to have goals but sometimes I feel like people here tend to focus too much on views and monetization Hoping to make this FT, I’m halfway to monetization on give or take 9 months and around 6 of taking it seriously, I don’t wanna go to college Very much so. It’d be nice if my channel took off to the point that I could afford to do something like buy more memory cards or a beer or something, but it’s probably way too out there for that. Not me. I aim on opening a couple of Youtube channels in the next few weeks. My sole aim is to make myself a millionnaire in the next 12mth, so aim to monetize the heck out of it! I would never do it as a hobby as I don’t have time to shit let alone have time for the luxury of a hobby. Yes, I fly my drone in my videos and just love recording my journey to improving my creative eye. Thinking of taking a leap to gaming channel though I’ve always wanted to be a horror narrator and last year I finally got to start my channel. It’s so much fun and I love doing it. Especially because I can interact with people
Pretty much, yeah. I make my videos look like shows with things like Hogwarts Legacy and UFC 5 Career Mode and it’s quite enjoyable I would def say this is just a hobby. At most I can see myself maybe using it to get a little money on the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this side but that’s it. In no way do I think I’m gonna blow up and do it full time but it’s fun just to have something to do and share It’s not super entertaining but it’s an okay little side hustle. Been doing it for 6 months or so upload 5 minute videos every 2 weeks total earnings at 1.5k Pretty much yeah, I’d love to make money from doing it one day, but I do it because I love it and have never made a cent so far, same with streaming (I have made small amounts of money streaming but nothing substantial).

Step by step to buy Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt
I started doing YT so show some friends horror games, they wanted to play them but can’t handle it. Eventually a few people started watching my vidoes do I started to learn how to do basic editing. Now I do YT for the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this same reason as well as a fun way to archive games that I play. And I have gotten some new skills out of it like editing media. I know my videos are going to get a minuscule amount of views, but the process of recording gameplay and editing a video is fun for me. Yes, definitely. Producing a video is so satisfying to me. I produce mini documentaries, so after all the researching and script writing is complete, the fun in creating the art is much fun to me. And the endorphins you get after completing and watching your work , it’s just feels so good. But on the flip side, I’m kind of sad because your get engrossed in this story. You enter this subject’s world. And now it’s over. So what gets me to to keep producing is to repeat those same feelings from the previous video. The fact I make money doing this adds to the pleasure of making videos. Even when I have a down month, or a video bombs, I don’t care. It’s fun to me. And while I try to cater to my audience in many ways, I’m really doing this for myself.
I’ve always done it just for fun but when I got monotized I started getting in my head about “blowing up” and sometimes when I’m hustling really really hard I’ll remind myself to slow down and have fun again yep me. i did it just for fun back in 2006 with a different acc and actually got millions of views which was insane back then. nowadays just for fun and better content but no one watches it . but i have fun anyway and in the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this future these videos will be great to watch cause of the nostalgia I make my videos for fun, but now that I’m making a bit of money (nothing crazy) that’s also nice. If I had started with the expectation of making $$, I definitely wouldn’t have stuck with it. I like to make videos to share what I do. It doesn’t feel right to me to contain everything I do, and some of my best highlights only to myself and close friends, so why not share it with the world?
100% Not monetized and doubt i ever will be, itd be cool but i dont think id keep up w the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this algorithm considering the amount of effort thatd take well yea ofc i do. obviously i care a bit about how much i make because i make money now, but i only do videos either people have reaquested or stuff i personally like doing raises hand we had sponsorship back in the day before YT changed the rules. But now we do it as a hobby / for fun and for the odd fans who find us and latch on. I recently moved and lost access to a workshop. So, I needed something to release my creativity instead of building guitars. So, I made a YouTube channel. Now when I move again and have access to my workshop I will likely start recording all my projects because I really enjoy making videos now. The community of YouTube is very motivating. (Sometimes they are assholes but most the time they are motivating) I really do enjoy it. I love the creation. I love with the process of ideation. Coming up with ideas. Coming up with things that speak to people directly. I love. In a way yes – I make walkabout videos, said videos are mostly my local area and they are filmed for (one day) future folk to look back upon and see on video. They will be of very little interest to anyone else however I have a few subs from the USA etc which I was surprised by. I do it for fun. Just a small channel, but enjoy making content. Always love getting comments and such, but not required at all. I’d love to be able to do it full time, but that’s not my push. 🙂
Same! I play video games and upload them to YouTube. I would play anyway, but I love the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this feedback I get from uploads, and talking with commenters. I find the whole thing an excellent creative outlet and extremely rewarding in and of itself. As a kid, who watches youtube and look up into alot of youtubers. I wanted to be youtuber to entertain and enjoy it. However as time goes by and my expectations were changed. I now see youtube as a job more than a hobby and been into multiples of burntout. Right now I’m taking a break from youtube till i get my shit together Used to. But then the money started rolling in and it’s become a job. I still do some videos for fun, but it’s very few these days. That’s me, I’m just having fun, I’ll be ecstatic if I can make some money with it but just having fun with it is my main goal
I do, don’t expect to make money, just doing it for fun and to mainly show things to my friends. Plus I have a cool job I want to keep doing I did manage to get partner which is awesome but I didn’t realize how little YouTube pays (especially gaming niche) so it’s definitely still just a hobby. I really enjoy making videos about games that I love My monetisation doesn’t even pay for my Adobe subscription and I doubt it will pay much more than that ever. My channel is mostly focused around teaching cybersecurity skills for free. It’s mostly a project around making myself better at presenting and teaching things. There’s a lot of things I could do to make myself grow faster but I don’t have a lot of interest in that I strictly post youtube shorts. Clips of retro games snes, psp ect and clips from playing on my rog ally. I aim for funny moments. I have 1 irl friend that’s a huge supporter. He finds the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this clips funny. I enjoy the conversations I have with him.
It’s a bit of both, but it feels (don’t judge me) like a calling for me. A space I can both be myself and create a space where others may feel the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this same or just leave my video with their hearts a bit lighter. Making money because of it will feel rewarding but even still I just wanna create something great and honestly it doesn’t just stop with YouTube but it’s definitely the first base I do it as an outlet I work a lot and I want to have a space for myself to talk about my interests and hopefully surround myself with people that have the same interests. If it becomes a career then that’s great but I’m not in any rush to make it a career I make mine to feel productive. Eventually making money would be nice, but I’m happy to feel like I can ramble about retro games I find interesting and find a few people who actually care. Folks I meet always jump the gun to tell me about getting rich from Youtube when I tell them I have a channel. I always tell them “Don’t count on it.” One, because I’m still a little over only 200+ subs, and two, because I don’t give a crap about being a successful Youtuber and make money. If that happens, then cool, if not, that’s alright too.
I absolutely despise it when everybody I know IRL doesn’t even care that I’ve branched out into doing something fun. They always have their eyes on the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this money bags. I do it for fun, and as a way to preserve what i’m doing. I don’t ever see it a money maker for me. Sometimes question my sanity, and how critical I can be with myself when doing it. Anybody that says they make videos as a hobby is a liar. You don’t do this for a hobby, you do this to get attention. Stop bullshitting. Not really. In a lot of ways it’s a means to an end, I want to be able to explore far away places and be paid for it. Exploring is my primary passion, creating videos is kinda secondary to that. I DO enjoy the process, I’d certainly rather be making videos doing what I love than my current job. I don’t want to be huge or rich, I just wanna earn a living. It also forces me to get off my ass and chase my passion. It’s too easy to feel tired after working all week and just zonk out in front if the TV or play videogames or something. But I have to make a video every week so every weekend I go out and do something worth filming. I always feel better when I push past the temptation to do nothing. I’d be lying if I said I do it just for fun. If it wasn’t fun I wouldn’t do it. If it was just for fun I wouldn’t have the incentive to get any better I’d get complacent. But the expectation of a tangible reward is what pushes me through the bits that I don’t find particularly fun. 76 more repliesI do! I don’t expect my channel to go anywhere, not to mention I’m in the most saturated niche possible which is gaming AND doing mostly call of duty (lmao) but I’m having fun with it and got more subscribers than I expected to within a year. (I don’t have a massive count by any means, but never expected to even break 100 and now I’m around 350 which for me is good, lol)
Anyways, I have more time these days, I got kinda unlucky with my health so I got fucked out of the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this job I was doing and I have a really hard time finding something that fits my situation. I have this stupid thing called dystonia and it’s a real pain in my ass I do it for mostly a creative outlet and it’s a passion for me. I don’t see myself getting absolutely massive, but I also believe I have the potential to atleast get a substantial enough following to make atleast some pocket money for my efforts. Never would I of believed that I could make money(even if just a lil), doing something I love was possible. But now with my recent growth and drive, I have set that as my goal, and even if it’s not a lofty one, if it comes to fruition, that’s a W in my book. But in the chance that it doesn’t ever make it to that point, I’ll still be creating YT content regardless. Best wishes and regards to everyone’s creator goals/passions, keep doing what you love.
Yes, and it was seeing that again that made it fun for me again. I uploaded regularly for about 2 years and gathered a small audience. But like so many I got busy / impatient and stopped. I still upload every few months for the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this fun of it though. I haven’t made a video in awhile, but it was totally just for fun for me. I still go back and watch the content I made. I think it’s decent content, but only got 25 ish views on my videos, many of which were me. Honestly, chasing “the money” on YouTube seems like a fools errand. Such a small percentage make what would be considered a living wage. I use it as a dumping ground for my Pokémon Sleep recordings. Hopefully, I can use the account as an actual gaming channel when I have time to play.
that’s what I tell myself as I flounder away, waiting for success to come. but I do painting practice video so I’m getting a ton of practice I make horror story videos just for fun. I enjoy editing little sound effects into my long-form videos, to be honest the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this editing process if my favourite part. But my long form videos take me about 6 hours at least to edit each one so I can only do 1-2 a week 🙁 I make YT shorts too, because these take no time to make and are very low effort, they also get good views but to be honest I dislike making them so maybe I will stop. I already know I won’t monetise my channel since I’m only doing this youtube thing while i’m recovering from an injury I do. I have original music and comedy skits on there. Then I also have video gameplay on there. The gameplay is what gets the numbers. Well some of the comedy videos too but not crazy or anything. I actually never thought that I would get to 100 subscribers. And in the last two months, I’ve doubled my subscribers and I’m at 130. Do I think this is gonna explode and go big. No, not a chance. If I can make a few people laugh or connect with a song my goal is achieved
I do that, with my video games, I record the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this footage on my ps5 and just share to YouTube. It’s a fun little hobby. Not particularly interested in getting a huge number of followers. Hmmm, if there were no extrinsic motivation, why upload at all? Just keep your videos to yourself if you only made them for you, no? Yeah i just like talking about the stuff i like and not inundating my friends with irrelevant details about dragon ball lol i do youtube jusr for fun…however sometimes it took me large amount of time to make it.. then i forget i have work to do I do, I make videos on ancient civilizations and what not, I feel it’s my way of helping change humanity and getting the information out that our human ancestors dating before 30,000yrs where very sophisticated, and that this 6,000 yr period is that of a lie and it’s evident that we have come out of the younger dryas catastrophe developing completely disconnected from the earth and each other. As a homeless person whose Temp Agency hardly posts more than one 4 hour job a week, I don’t really have the option to stay small, I need money. yeah… i get that too. i’m 20 and should get a real job but i honestly have no idea how to. youtube is my passion I do it because I like to document my adventures sort of like a scrap book. If follows come its cool but I like to watch back on my adventures!
I do – I work full-time as a social media manager, it’s a solid, good steady income. I do YouTube on the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this side to keep my creativity going and to talk about pop culture topics that I’d be talking to friends about anyway. Yep! That’s me! I tried to do advertise, but people just wanted to take advantage of me and make money off of me. So I’ve stopped advertising on Reddit and other places just do it for fun. I once do youtube just for fun because of my passion in gaming, get a few thousands subs too because of it, but never interested to get monetized because I too probably will never be able to catch up in making videos regularly, then after college life I struggled to find a job that pays decently, because of that I give youtube a real chance for my source of income, after months of hard work, I finally get into YPP last year, and my content quality is also improved quite a lot ever since I get monetized because I feel like there’s a real reward for my effort in making these videos now. 100% for fun and i just so happened to get partnered. I still treat it as though im doing it for fun though. Doesn’t stress me out
I do. I have a great career and make videos because it’s fun and gives me a reason to make new music and actually finish games. I also love the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this community I’ve built. I definitely make videos as a hobby. I always loved making videos for people to enjoy. Learning and exploring different ideas really helps me chill out after work I do it to become better at video editing and graphic stuff, I wanted to learn after effects and improve at premiere pro, YT is a good way to track progress especially with the analytics area, You learn a lot what people like and dont like, its basically like a job portfolio for me now, I do. Of course, I’m happy to see growth, but I don’t expect to ever get monetized from YouTube and if I do ever get monetized, I don’t expect it to be that much. I make videos because I like making videos, that’s it, no money motivation or anything else. Cause frankly, I believe that if you’re only on YouTube for the money, there are much better ways of earning that money.
I mean, that’s what I’ve been doing for almost two years now. I mean, I’d like to get big and have an audience, but it’s not my sole consuming goal. Initially i wanted to “get big” but i found out really fast how much i enjoyed editing and coming up with video ideas as a hobby, the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this views and subs are a bonus I’m in the same boat! I do YouTube purely for fun. However, making money on YouTube is definitely a common goal. It can take time to build an audience and attract opportunities. Just keep creating content you enjoy, and the opportunities will come. I also haven’t had any luck yet. I do hope to grow an audience, but at the end of the day I know I’m having fun making videos so it’s not the end of the world if I don’t
Yes, I enjoy teaching and helping new students. But, I still hope to make some extra income from all this work. Yeah. There were times where I seriously tried to monetize my channel but I just couldn’t figure out how. I absolutely don’t care anymore. But maybe one day I’ll start a new channel in a different vertical and try monetizing that. I do it for fun. there was period where i began obsessing over numbers – completely forgetting why i started doing youtube in the Trump White House MAGA Christmas shirt moreover I love this first place! Yes, I make completely bs videos targeting the 8-13 year old range for fun. It’s become a joke between me and my buddies lol as to how many unsuspecting fools stumble upon my vids lol. While I would love for my channel to get bigger and gain an audience over time (especially since it would be nice if I ever get to the point of where I can monetize) but my main drive is because I want to make my videos. One of my motivations was to start making them to regain my video editing skills, since I was a cinema major in college but haven’t done anything related since graduating. I would love to try and find something related to it now though, but one thing holding me back was I felt I had lost some of the skills and knowledge I had. I also realized it would be a fun way to share my thoughts and experiences on the variety of games I play with my friends and anyone interested in the internet, plus I could throw in some goofy skits for potential laughs and editing experiments too. So the combo of all of that was my motivation to start my gaming channel and make my reviews and miscellaneous other videos. And no matter what it’s something I want to keep up, since I think it’s a great creative outlet for me and years from now I can see it being a great way for me to preserve and reflect on my past gaming experiences. Plus I think it’s really helping build up my editing and filming skills again and increasing my confidence with trying to get a job related to it again.
