Chennai floods were also a result of bad infra planning. In fact the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this issue was identical – concretisation of wetlands Okay so in that case, to make sure Bengaluru does not flood again, we gotta open the Raja kaluve, which is unfortunately closed and encroached by builders with political help. The problem again would be demolishing a lot of apartments sitting on the canal. There are other ways. See how Japan deals with floods. If the flood water is redirected to underground aquafiers, it would help with water problem in banglore Singapore floods too and they have good infrastructure. Chennai is going to flood regardless of infrastructure. They receive an abnormal amount of rainfall. In 2015 they didn’t have storm drains and now they do which made a huge difference. Bangalore floods with normal rainfall.
Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, long sleeve tee
During Bangalore flood CEOs’ bungalows built on the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this lakes and cars worth crores were underwater. How will that not invite memes? I swear. Those people have insurance and were probably fine. I do feel bad for people who bought flats in those areas though. Bangalores floods were technically a man made disaster. Building and expanding a massive city on a sea coast which gets flooded to the point of needing National Disaster Relief efforts is good planning. But a few valleys getting blocked in a hill station is bad planning? Chennai gets flooded due to legit rains, proximity to the sea causing tidal effects on heavy rains. Bangalore gets flooded due to lack of drainage, mindless land grabbing and shitty urban planning, within a matter of 20-mins rains.
There is no such thing as legit rains & illegitimate rains. If Chennai is close to the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this sea, then Bangalore has an undulating surface too. At the end of the day, it is about the city’s drainage not being able to empty the water it received. If you expect cyclonic rains, then the infra should be enough to drain it, if you expect a rain of a few hours then infra should be built for it. Unfortunately, the rains overwhelmed your infra in both cities. I am starting to believe it is intentionally kept that way to promote and maintain hate instead of actual community things. I see real life in Banglore and other this city sub cultures are totally different from here. I even start to doubt posts like this just so that they are collecting info of spread more hate, paranoid and fear.

Some posts are genuine, while others are for karma farming or part of propaganda , fear mongering and hate. Many posts are fake too. They not only complain but also downvote anyone who speaks rationally or tries to help, promotes the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this need to learn the local language, advocates finding middle ground in situations, advocates for civility, respect, or solution-oriented comments. You will also be labeled as Xenophobic for trying to show or share middle ground perspectives and solutions .Mostly, I feel they are young migrants from northern states who are finding it tough to adjust to southern culture. They also lack basic social skills and social awareness in general, especially in the post-COVID phase. I might be wrong about the crowd, but this is what I have observed. I have felt that it’s purposely there to promote an active north-south conflict, like many other Indian political and movie subreddits.
also check out rule 3 of the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this subreddit, and it is actively being practised where I’ve even seen people getting banned for it lol without any warning, this isn’t the only such case, I’ve seen numerous ones at this point. Also I’ve seen many light hearted and very slightly off-topic posts still relevant to blr tho, getting removed as well so I believe those in power of this subreddit are doing so only to discuss issues majorly and not as a community engaging space unfortunately 🙁 You have to make this a top level comment man. I remember a post about an Interstellar bangalore screening was not allowed as well. what’s wrong with posting about a private event which like minded people can join in. They just dont want anything positive to be on the front page.
101% saar. Proper Bengaluru community topics ge encouragement kammi. Bari issues, scroll madidre idenappa hingagoitha Bengaluru antha ansathe. Hehe, I am not talking about you. But I was talking about myself being paranoid seeing all of the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this above every day. Man, I’m from a Tier 2 city in Tamil Nadu and have lived in Chennai for more than 3 years as a bachelor. But, I loved Bangalore when I visited my sister’s house for the first time in 2016. She used to live in Malleshwaram and to this day, I’ll never forget the quiet evening walks in the park, roads that are narrow but not too crowded, friendly neighbours etc. It was a stark contrast to what my life was in OMR road back then in Chennai. I’m absolutely loving it. I even love the traffic we get stuck in sometimes. Because, all we could realise is, times will keep changing and we are only going to get crowded.
Someone who go to office come back home, rarely step out with limited social circle will feel the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this place is horrible Ask this question to the people here – Do you identify yourself as a bangalorean? Other than Masala Dose – have you eaten anything else in a south indian restaurant? Hingella baithare, obru vote hakalla. One of the most corrupt MLAs who oversees that area wasn’t given a ticket this local elections so our good friends in that constituency went out and voted for his wife! Wah wah And there is always that one fucker praying for Bangalore’s downfall and hyping Hyderabad in every post. Like I want other cities to develop as an Indian but why do you want our downfall? Add Kolkata and Pune too that list of subreddits who take pleasure in downfall of our city. Really weird obsession. IMO only Delhi peeps are chill in their own way. They give gaalis openly but I doubt they pray for destruction of any city. The same feeling I had. Most of the problems except for traffic is in another cities as well. Auto guys charges over prices almost everywhere even a small town where I live. And water problem I have faced in metro cities as well. Most of the people ranting about thinks that except for bangalore every where is heaven People looking for a petty crime to say bangalore is going to dogs by reading time of India crime column every day The complaining is for petty things like garbage collection, gss delivery, mobile theft, consumer issue etc which can be easily solved by searching on Google.
This reminded me of the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this guy who called on fm station in 2013 to clean a garbage across the road saying I don’t know I am a outsider If you try to involve in community, volunteering and attend RWA meetings is how you involve, to solve issue but many don’t know if RWA exist in their area. Some of these are basic things taught civics studies in school. I can understand that if you are newbie staying away from home in new city but many looks like they been living for years yet no nothing. The algorithm favours negative things which invoke emotions and reaction among people that’s why there are more such posts. I respond by trying to help by information, some of the things have been repeatation, because that’s what I like than arguing with strangers for meaningless things there are few who gives Unsolicited advice not to reply to every post, go out and do that. Because the media makes Bangalore sound way cooler than it actually is. So people come in with high expectations and are disappointed when the reality of low quality Bangalore hits them. Well I think it is more about the current situation. There is no other city where a lot of white collar employees migrate to and have high expectations. Political mismanagement has led to crippled public infrastructure and a lot of negative experiences. But being a Bangalorean. I will love it no matter what 🙂 Exactly my question, so many fucking complaints about Bangalore and it isn’t even constructive? People complaining about Bangalore being a concrete jungle – isn’t it the same reason why you moved here? We (the localites) are upset by that too but there isn’t anything we can do since its a growing metropolitan city.
Swalpa disa ashte… Take over agathe Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this bangalore immigration ninda. Ivr main bangalore ge bardhangidre saaku, illi eega swalpa peaceful idhe.. Inna adhunu hogathe… Man istg they keep complaining about the city and disrespecting it and us mfs are freshers working for low salary and act like they own the place lol they need to get a realisation that they are their own problem Think about this: a very small infinitesimal group of people from Bangalore are on Reddit / Twitter. The people who are happy probably doing whatever they do that makes em happy . SubReddit isn’t a real representation of Bangalore irl anyway. Because somewhere down the timeline people started portraying Bangalore as if it were Heaven & when more people started to move in it gradually turned from a nice, quiet and peaceful city to a congested parking lot.
Population – Is everyone a great citizen here? Absolutely no. The majority of the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this population lacks civic sense and many times common sense too. Even with so many issues individuals still come here because of employment opportunities and they do get paid well, which the local/unemployed/ unskilled gundas want to take advantage of by robbing them and the likes…. Your sample size is very small . Just like there are outsiders who feel that locals are out there to get them , similarly there are some hyper active locals who are just obsessed with those few outsiders ranting about Bangalore. Additionally , it’s highly likely that Bangalore is probably the only city they have been to for their job ( out of the their hometown ) . Hence the reality check.
Also , I genuinely do not understand the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this logic that other cities are not great either , so why should one complain about Bangalore ? I say , why not ! . If one is paying an arm & leg for the basic amenities and infrastructure then why should one not complain ? People can complain, if they are looking for solution like how to make sure garbage collection van comes on time and regularly Instead many quote random street scuffle to protray and say it has become horrible place to live there are lot who echoes it Idk man, seems people are more interested in being wannabe keyboard warriors than actually building a community. Mmm when you get a Swiggy order and the food is fine, do you leave a review usually? But when the food is bad you are more likely to review it or contact customer service or rant about how bad it was. Kinda similar to how it works in any big city/country sub I’m getting tired of the incessant whining and ‘hear hear this happened to me’ posts and very very rarely chinna across informative/ heartwarming posts about the city. Stop attaching emotions to a mere place , I get that you grew up here doesn’t mean it is perfect because your life was flower beds , not everyone has the same experience and calling it a fact that people are only criticising it is plain delusion. When people have a good day it’s because the place they had a nice time is “Bangalore” , but when things go sideways it is the same thing , you see millions of people enjoying in places and having a good time , do you see them complaining ? It’s only when a bad experience comes they complain , if you want to spread positivity so much why don’t you create positive posts yourself instead of creating this post , and ironically your post is a complain. You are righto…but contrary to that…Bangalore gave me more friends and more fun and more sax than my hometown delhi.. and i always rant abt delhi lol.
Because most of us unhappy, ever set foot any urban areas around 9am or after 6pm or went to popular shopping or sightseeing area in the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this weekend? The point is check out reddit from other states and you’ll likely find someone complaining too every other day. It’s both good and bad of social media and quite frankly it’s up to you to not give to much traction apart from whenever it’s necessary. Its okay. It’s the internet. Most of the people cant complain elsewhere and this is the place for them to do it. Because Bangalore was the most promising city in India, and there is sorrow that needs to be processed when it changes. After Delhi earned the title of “rape capital” and lost half of its glamour, and similar trends in other promising cities, people don’t want the same happening to their beloved Bengaluru.
I invite you to check r/Gurgaon. Everyone cries there. Call it a dead City with only buildings. And the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this people also get insulted. It gets double the hate because it is near Delhi too. LoL Let’s discuss the startups of every third coder out here who is tired of their job and wants to make millions by tonight. Its not about just Bangalore…its that whole reddit is meant for rants..be it any other city or any other topic related to cinema, politics, business, employment, sports etc etc,,,reddit is meant for rants… r/Bangalore is discussing real problems and solutions to them. Most often I see experiences where I learn from and have to be cautious about. Shitty services and high price. For 100rs you get 10rs worth item/service. Quite contrast to what you get in other states. 99.99% of Bengaluru haven’t heard of Reddit. A tiny fraction of the remaining 0.01% come and shitpost here. Simple. Most of the people complaining about Bangalore live in the overcrowded IT sector that faces water and traffic and electricity issues. The inner suburbs of Bangalore still maintain their charm and are breathable. Of course life has changed drastically for those who were brought up in malleshwaram, jayanagar, basavangudi, Richmond town, etc but these residents won’t complain much as they still know and love the old city for what it used to be. Even in the 90s and 00s we had 8 hour long power cuts and water shortages in the summer. Bangalore has never been some kind of utopia with all the facilities available at the fingertips. But people who settle here get paid a lot and expect an uber-modern smart city.
LMAO. We fooled them into thinking they were in Bangalore. They are in a shthole that even the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this authorities dismiss as Bengaluru outskirts. Our politicians like us, after all they’re one of us, are smart enough to suck out their money and life, while we old Bengalurians continue to be the real deal. Nam avru yaru rant madala guru namge idella problem alla , But ivrge problem yawaglu. i rode my bike around 7 states in North India , visited urban and rural Cities yappa guru Jana kolkali idara illa kolku alidiya gotila, adre Ali iro Jana illi bandu nam Bangalore bagge mathadthare . Viparasya andre nam avru illi idare anode doubt Ella kass barate anthe land/mane sale madi yaw mule serkondidaro !!! Devrge gotu .
I guess the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this recent issues, since the last year has more to do with the Native Language – Kannada. And being a Kannadiga myself I think this issue is a double edged sword. I’ll tell why Firstly, Even the government has imposed 60% usage of kannada and 40% of English on Signboards/Adboards etc. I think this is a fair initiative as it uplifts the historic & literary importance of kannada (as its much needed, because if we don’t take such kind of initiatives, the language will become endangered, it sort of actually has become that) Although government has imposed this, There is no appointees for this rule to be checked and there’s no hard and fast rule for shop owners and proprietors to immediately take this into effect in their respective establishments. (This is more like an open secret, which is very sad actually) But what happens here is, there are certain kind of groups run by Ex Underworld, And other such people (Of which I don’t want to take names) who in the name of language and motherland bring chaos in the society and disturb the harmony, They do that for Money, False Respect, and to create Fear amongst Locals & Migrants so that their other stream of illegal businesses and things run fair enough (It’s more like maintaining street cred amidst your own locality) They take shelter under such rule.
My honest but bitter opinion (bitter to the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this migrants) is that, Migrants living here for more than 3-5 years and especially those migrants who are planning to continue working (either small jobs & vice versa) and importantly who procured assets in the state should be responsible enough to respect the state by atleast learning the language to use it in day to day life. That way: Importantly you will not come into scanner of such false & radical groups (Although certain groups are honest in such domains, they are dominated by the wrong groups) By following and implying these things into your daily life, it’ll not just make your life easier, But it’ll make your future generations and the native peoples lives easier. I guess this is the smallest contribution you could do to a city & state which provides you the opportunity to stay, work, eat, drink and enjoy your life better than most places in india (which ofcourse comes with its own cost).
We also appreciate the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this migrants and thank them, Because of whom the city has developed. But again it’s over developed and that’s an issue which can be endlessly debated. This comment might look very polarizing, But I believe it’s true fact to myself to live an easy and nuisance free life here in bangalore. And the sub is also filled with braindead political rants unrelated to some stuff i read here, someone’s dog would have pissed on someone activa and it would be govt fault. Some random coconut fell on some car fucking central govt na dengu. Zero common sense, zero analysis, zero knowledge, zero comprehension and 500 IQ political rants in essays. Also I don’t get the cries about Rents.. I have stayed in 4 different areas in Bangalore in last 15 years.. Malleshwaram/Rajajinagar/Kormangala/JP nagar and have travelled to Ecity , Sarjapur, Whitefield. I have too many friends. The current rent I am paying 21k for 3Bhk in JP nagar. In Kormangala 2bhk I paid 15k or reached 18k when I left… in Rajajinagar paid 6k and all for 2bhk. Even I have friends who stayed/stays Electronic City, Whitefield, Sarjapur Road. They pay 18k-20k for 1bhk at Max and 25k for 2bhk now as well. Now a bit less but still countable numbers. It’s just that me or my friends do search themselves or we are lucky? I swear you guys won’t believe me. My friends were staying in 3bhk Villa by paying 14k rent in Sarjapur Road from 2016-2020… now idk. I just don’t get it.. If you want less rented then you have come out of comfort zone and search by holding broker like (local) not some shitty apps. And search for couple of weekends and you will definitely find a reasonable ones. I am not too sure about rents in those locations right now but it’s been the case. Maybe all my friends and myself are smart or the people in this sub are dumb or lazy or here to spend hatred and spread negativity about each and everything. Also I feel it’s US Bangaloreans fault only.
Also I really mean it when I say I have lot of friends. Because I know Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi. Can understand Malayalam and Konkani and even a bit of Marathi. But anyways. I feel we are too welcoming to these ungrateful and hipsters people who can’t appreciate the Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor Living TBI Warrior T-Shirt in addition I really love this beauty of this city.. but I love it and I don’t care anymore. I actually appreciate people to leave Bangalore. Like bro/sis you don’t like means get job somewhere else where you will like and leave bolimaklu Thu. If I think about it, Best and peaceful this city was when the second wave got over and the world healed as the city opened up and it was just Us Bangalore people with some who have everything here.. 2 years later here we are with most crowed than 2020 and double the hatred and toxicity about the city they live and earn and bred. Bro each and every other city has its flaws just be happy and live it instead of cribbing. Rant over. Sorry as I from village area my Inglish is week.
