I remember getting my brand new ti-84 stolen in high school as well, on like the Townsend from downtown Kennedy Townsend shirt and by the same token and third day I had it. My mom was so pissed at me (I accidentally left it with my book on a shelf in class and it was gone when I went to look for it next period) but I needed the calculator for my math class, so we went to a pawn shop and I ended up getting a silver edition instead for like almost half the price, and my mom engraved my initials underneath the battery case with her dremel. Haven’t tapped into that memory for a long time lol. I miss playing block dude. YEAH OML those little puzzle games were the best. mine was also an SE! which i loved because it could hold more stuff in memory Hell yeah! I always felt so extra in class, it was definitely known that I was relatively poor (though I didn’t get bullied a ton for it, surprisingly) so I always felt kinda out of place with the “fancy edition” of a calculator lol. Hopefully some other fellow poor kid got my other one and it all worked out I was like “the FUCK you mean 1200” then I saw that it was rupees lmao talk about blood pressure through the roof

I’m sorry that sucks. People have no respect. I sincerely hope the Townsend from downtown Kennedy Townsend shirt and by the same token and buttholes who stole it get some infected hemorrhoids. Check out the local pawn shops. Even if you don’t find yours, you can get ones to get you through school. That is what I always did. Man 15$ in india when you’re a student is definitely a big deal, it’s not just mine which has got stolen yet, I’m one of the victims. I also thought you meant $1200 USD I would’ve Air Tagged that shit if that was the case but after reading the comments and seeing the actual cost and offers to replace, faith in humanity a little restored 🩷 I thought your calculator cost $1200 USD. I was like, no wonder someone stole it. That’s more than the new iphone costs. I’m relieved for OP that it was only $14. I might have one in a box somewhere. I absolutely do not use it. How urgently do you need it. I’m in Canada on an island and mail can be slow, but if I find it I would have no problem sending it off. Check local pawn shops. People steal these calculators all the time and sell them to pawn shops. Last time I needed a graphing calculator I went to my local one and they had a stack of like 50. I managed to haggle them down to $20, for a calculator that was $130 new, because they are just looking to get rid of them, they have way to many. I know you don’t have a calculator so I’ll do the math for you, that’s a loss of 2400 rp.. sorry o.p too soon
