The flight attendant asked me if there was an medications and when I said yes, there seemed to be a sudden shift in attitude. No more “we need to make space” it became “I WILL find a place for this bag that is nearby”. I think they stored my bag with the flight attendant’s bag because if I needed my (life-saving) meds then there was no way to get to it when checked.
