I’m going to say maybe try them on with a pair of sneakers. I think they might look pretty good with them. But it’s hard to tell with your black socks so I could be wrong. I think they’re an awkward length on you…just a bit too short to look intentionally cropped vs “oops,I’ve outgrown my pants.” Not that you asked, but I feel like you’d look fantastic in a pair of full length flare jeans. These have a 27in inseam so I’ll try a 29+ inch inseam next. I do like wider leg in other fabrics but having a hard time finding more structured denim that’s wide all the way from the top of the thighs down. i think the rise is not quite right and they are a bit too short on you. it throws off your proportions and makes your hips look unbalanced.

So my hips are actually unbalanced (scoliosis) but I also see what you’re saying about the Toronto Blue Jays Prepare Compete Recover shirt Apart from…,I will love this rise not doing me any favors. Would a higher rise look better, or a lower rise? i didn’t notice at all! i just meant vertically, haha. i think it’s most evident from the side photo where you can see that the waist is sitting in a sort of awkward spot on your back. it’s not really in the curve where high waisted jeans should sit, but it’s higher than your hips are. i think a rise 1-2 inches (maybe even like 1.5 in a perfect world!) either lower or higher would sit at a more flattering spot. Need some jean recommendations. I have some high-rise straight leg jeans from Madewell and Levi’s but I don’t like how they are so baggy in the butt/thigh area. I want for those sections to be accentuated. Is this just a straight leg problem? Or a me problem? For Madewell, I would size down to get a tighter fit in the butt and thighs. But otherwise, yeah you might have more luck with other brands. I’ve liked Abercombie and Gap
