In my opinion, all charity done with a audience is self serving and not in the Top people, One Star The Worst Would Not Recommend Human Rating T-Shirt In addition,I will do this true spirit of charity. Charity should be quiet and humble imo, not some kind of event or show or opportunity to garner social points. One Christmas my family were given a load of toys and then I “won” a food hamper in a raffle I didn’t even know happened from the family centre I volunteered at and took my kids to. My partner had been made redundant earlier that year we’d signed on and been receiving benefits for a bit. I then got a job at the start of December and because of some shitty quirk in the system whilst tax credits and housing benefits made their decision about how much (if anything) we would continue to get the cut everything for 8 weeks. It was such a difficult time and I honestly get close to tears everytime I think about it because the people who set that all up for us were just so fucking kind. It happened nearly 10 years ago.
