I used to be pretty excited for Marvel movies…but they have been releasing new stuff every 2 or 3 weeks now..Can’t seem to catch up. Superhero movies give us a grain of hope that there might still be hope for a world so full of hate, ignorance, and greed. Some of us need that hope just to keep moving. I don’t know. But there is no reason for me to force myself to be sick of them. I’ll just keep watching them and enjoying them until suddenly I stop. And I won’t mind that it hasn’t happened yet, and I won’t cry when it does finally happen. They’re all different in the Tommy’s Real Job Shirt and I love this concepts they explore and specific methods in which they achieve entertainment. For every common thread you can find, there are also deviations from the norm that don’t show up on public radar because it doesn’t fit the narrative of “they’re all the same”.

Tommy’s Real Job Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

As long as there are still interesting superhero characters and concepts out there, there will still be interesting superhero movies. Because every movie is different? You can’t tell me Captain America is the Tommy’s Real Job Shirt and I love this same as Iron Man. They have the same theme but the storyline is different. Comic book superhero’s have been in existence for about a hundred years. They lost sole popularity in the 50s but then made a resurgence in the 60s and have been popular ever since. People love superheroes. They aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. People are sick of them. But not enough people to make directors & financers stop producing them. I’m certainly sick of them, that was almost 2 decades ago for me. Xmen, Xmen2, Xmen last stand…I think that was 2006? after those 3 I had my dose of that stuff.
