He didn’t even speak to her – just burst out laughing and pointed at the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this banana, signalling “one” with his finger. It was embarrassing but pretty funny to be honest, everyone was laughing at my silly request for help. Like i literally could have just picked up the banana and showed her lmfao, don’t know what tf I was thinking. They have a great sense of humor there though. Not my blunder and part prank a few years ago I was on holiday in Tenerife being quite chatty myself I had struck up a conversation with a couple on the coach who were staying at the same resort as us. We get to the resort and again I got friendly with one of the staff who worked in the restaurant and we would always have a nice chat at breakfast or dinner. This other couple every time they saw him would speak as a typical Brit loud and broken English with lots of pointing. This went on for the two weeks of the holiday neither me or the guy had the heart to tell them he was called Michael and working there through the summer for some life experience and was actually from Leicester. On the last day he bid the farewell and told them the truth they were mortified
Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style
I was hungover in Paris (I had proposed to my wife the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this night before and we got quite drunk), and went to a breakfast place. I needed salt so I just shouted SAL at the waiter. Didn’t say please or even say it nicely. He came back and slammed it on my table. Went to Japan and stayed in this really nice Japanese restaurant with more eastern dining. Got breakfast and dinner included. The first night they did sukiyaki where there was a pot being boiled with the meat etc in it at the table. It was one of those places where the staff watch you eat which was about as comfortable as you can imagine. Five minutes into the meal they came and gave my wife a fork as left with only the chopsticks she was going to die of starvation with the food in front of her. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Often coming over to say try this. One came over to tell me to try some raw fish when it was still fresh and watched me as I just about got it into my mouth with the chop sticks and smiled as I swallowed it. Never eaten raw fish before and never want to again. The final insult to Japan was when one person came over to me and pointed at the boiling pot, the raw whole egg in a small boil, made a swishing/mixing motion with the boil and then pointed at the boiling pot on the table. What he, and I imagine any sane Japanese person would get was that you take the meat from the pot, mix up the egg and dip the meat in the raw egg and then consume it.
I can only imagine the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this horror and confusion as the three members of staff stood at the bar and watched as I mixed up the egg and poured it into the pot to make some scrambled eggs. A few years ago in Hanoi, Vietnam. Due to the volume of traffic, particularly motorbikes and scooters, we found it almost impossible to cross the road. After a couple of days of this we were walking around and needed to cross yet another road when I noticed a tour group with a local guide waiting to cross so immediately saw our chance to cross at the same time they did. It must have been raining as they were all wearing matching plastic yellow ponchos. After successfully crossing I announced very loudly to my wife, “finally figured out how to cross the road in Hanoi, just wait for a load of yellow people to turn up and cross with them…!”

I thought sangria was fruit juice and drank two cartons in a day. I was even mixing it with rum. I was surprised that i was going to bed at 5pm I slept with a member of the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this local population 8 years ago and have been in America ever since. Classic colonial move. We were on a family holiday in spain as a kid and on a bus trip. After a few hours my dad said to the tour guide ‘I see all these signs for salida but can’t find it anywhere on the map’. After pissing himself laughing for awhile the guide explained to my dad that salida meant exit I got asked to leave a cathedral in Croatia. I went in to look at the architecture and take in the peace and was wearing a vest. I didn’t realise you were supposed to have your shoulders covered – major league catholic over there. This bloke came up to me, gesturing for me to leave
Wife and i arrived at Budapest airport walked outside to be met with a row of black Mercedes cars with rear doors open in the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this taxi rank. Wife walks to the first and got in as i was about to get in the “driver” appears and asked wife to leave as he leaned forward i could see a machine gun hanging under his long black coat. The group of other”drivers” were laughing as we shuffled off to the waiting taxis. I went to Berlin for a job interview. I’d spent about 3 months on Duolingo trying to prepare myself for survival but still spent the entire morning before the interview with absolutely no confidence in my ability to communicate and too far away from the tourist traps, desperately trying to find an English speaking cafe.
I thought I’d found one when I saw a sign outside promising “Full English Breakfast”. I walked in happily and said “morning!” to the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this lady behind the counter. I ended up embarrassed, pointing at various bits of food on the counter until I got something resembling a breakfast. First time on a beach holiday in Spain, went to get a lounger on the beach not knowing you had to rent it, when the guy came over with his book of tickets (just like a raffle book) I waived him off telling him I wasn’t wanting to buy any raffles and to leave me in peace. I tried to tap my hotel keycard at the coffee shop chip and pin in Amsterdam. I may have been a little stoned already. First time flying abroad when I was 25. (Abit blonde to say the least) but my backpack was really hurting my shoulders, so while I was having a look around the airport shops, I decided to LEAVE my backpack underneath a clothing shelve. And I was oblivious the sign the security pointed out to me “DO NOT LEAVE BAGGAGE UNATTENDED” I looked back to see loads of airport police and security around my bag. OMG I have never been more motified. And I haven’t been shouted out like that since school I don’t know how I could of been that stupid. When I was 18, I went to the US with my bf of the same age. We didn’t understand tipping culture and thought it was like the UK, so we tipped like 18 year old students. Now I know why we got so many dirty/hurt looks at the end of dinner.
We went to the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Vatican and visited St. Peter’s Basilica. You can climb a staircase up to the roof and then enter a walkway around the inside of the dome, looking down into the centre of the cathedral. As we stepped out onto the walkway in this, the epicentre of the Catholic church; burial site of St. Peter the apostle; one of the holiest and most iconic churches in the world; synonymous with the supreme pontiff, God’s representative on Earth; and all round quite a big deal in Christianity, one of the guys I was with looks down at the view and exclaims loudly: “JESUS CHRIST!!!” Very loudly and slowly (and a bit drunkenly) in a patisserie in Calais. “Je voudrais un pomme de terre de tarte, s’il vous plait”. My wife, convulsed with laughter eventually told me what potatoe was in French. I flew to Spain from England and forgot my luggage, I travelled with my sister and her friends in 2009 and as we left her place my sister asked me to carry her luggage as it was heavy, I thought that meant she would carry mine which was lighter, we got to Birmingham airport with 30 mins to check in and the trip back was an hour round. So I decided to fly without any of my belongings and spent a week in my mates oversized clothes. Still makes me laugh!
On a trip to Bangkok, after 16 hours travel I checked into my hotel. Was jetlagged as f*ck but hungry, so decided to nip out to the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this bar across the road that seved food. Was met at the entrance by a young lady who guided me to table, took my order, and passed it to one of the servers. It didn’t click immediately to my jetlagged brain that she wasn’t an employee. She was a freelancer (prostitute) and by accepting her offer of help, I had mistakenly indicated that I was interested in engaging her ‘services’. That took a bit of explaining when I finished my meal and said I was going back to my hotel. “I come with you?” Panicked stammering from me, bought her a drink, and skedaddled Had been on the pop the night before. Dodgy greasy breakfast followed by a trip to Ephesus in the scorching heat and a venture up to the shrine with a dodgy stomach, and I could feel it rumbling as I entered the building.
No one around apart from me and my mate. Didn’t think she’d notice so I did a genuflexion and let rip…thankfully it was silent. Unfortunately it was that bad my mate gagged. Even more unfortunate was that other tourists started to enter – a bus load of Americans had turned up…and promptly declared ‘the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this drains must be blocked’…no idea if the mother of Christ had a drain in this particular establishment, but l know I’m going to hell as a result! I learnt in the most awkward way possible how easy it is to mis-pronounce “besoin” (need) as baise-moi (fuck me) while trying to open a bank account in France a few years back. Not a big blunder but makes me giggle. When I first got to my hotel in New York I had been travelling for hours and just wanted somewhere to put my rubbish whilst I checked in. I said to the concierge ‘do you have a bin mate?’ He looked at me like I’d just spoken mandarin. I was too exhausted to even think of the equivalent. My sister just popped round from behind me and went ‘err trash can?’ Couldn’t stop laughing, the man must’ve thought I was crazy. But honestly what else could I have meant with an empty water bottle and food wrapper in my hand! Girlfriend and I went on holiday to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and stayed at a hotel with a rooftop pool. First night we went up to the roof to see what the fuss was all about; there was a pool party with a DJ and a bar. There were all these baller Malaysians partying like crazy, so we decided to join in and had a great night.
Next day we were very hungover and decided to look for somewhere to eat. There were crowds of people on the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this streets and they were waving Malaysian flags and blowing whistles. A lady even stopped us and asked for a photograph (I had no idea why) and we agreed. After wandering around for a while, we opted for a Burger King rather than trying somewhere local (another classic British blunder sticking to what we know – although tried lots of local food during the remainder of the holiday). I decided at this point to search on Google to figure out what was going on. Turns out everyone was celebrating Malaysia’s independence day from… you guessed it, Britain. I had absolutely no idea about Malaysia’s history but finally the pool party, crowds on the street and random lady stopping us for a photo all made sense. Felt like a complete ignoramus.
Despite the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this blunder, we had an amazing time and would love to return to Kuala Lumpur, this time with a better understanding of the history. I managed to accidentally breach security at the EU Parliament. Was in Brussells visiting a friend who recommended it as a tourist for the day while travelling. After going through a smallish side entrance, going through an airport style scanner and wandering what was a fairly dull atrium and set of conference rooms for 10 mins (at which point I figured this was not as good a tourist destination as billed), I eventually ended up down a lift, past an unmanned checkpoint and eventually at the front entrance trying to find a way out. If you have ever tried to exit the wrong side from a heavily guarded checkpoint/main entrance… “Where’s your badge!?” “Uhhh sorry can you let me out?”. As a tall white skinhead in a black t-shirt and carrying a rucksack I was surprised that I wasn’t arrested at gunpoint. Apparently if anyone important was around that day I would have. After a few mins of apologising I was let go and the chap was more interested in how I was unwittingly breached security. Turns out at the side door I came in after some employees who reception assumed I was with. The chap gave them a good telling off and I went on to drink an Aussie bloke under the table in a hostel.
Went for a pee in the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this toilet block at a nature reserve in Spain. Slightly different set up with urinal trough in cubicles. Had pee. Pressed flush. Found out it was a shower. Got a few looks on the wY out. Sitting in a ski lift in Colorado, about 15 years ago, I heard someone who sounded like Jannice from friends, and I turned to my brother and said “Oh God, it’s one of those really annoying American accents, eugh!” I then looked around and realised to my shame that there was annother passenger on the lift beside me, a local, the rest of the lift ride went by in silence. Stop over in Amsterdam airport going from Johannesburg to Edinburgh. I’m bored, tired and this was before having as many mobile devices. The front page is all English, it’s all “playstation” and game titles. The inside however? All in Dutch, I don’t speak Dutch….
It must have been quite the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this unexpected fashion statement in such a solemn place. Well, I’ve had my fair share of travel mishaps too. One time in Italy, I confidently ordered what I thought was a pasta dish in fluent Italian, only to realize moments later that I’d actually asked for a plate of snails. Walking around Paris and wanted to ask for directions in English. This was long before smart phones. And after the first person, that I asked. I realised that I was saying in French something like “Quest ca parlez-vous Français, sil vous plait?” So used to football crowds and their segregation that it came as a shock to me that shouting drunken jibes at opposition fans sitting in ‘our section’ was not the usual thing in North America.
It’s Amalfi Coast, but technically speaking it’s not actually on the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this AC, just the direct town next to it. Stunning views and exactly like the AC if if youv ever been or even seen pictures but a quarter of the price. Paid $1,500 USD a month to live there last year (through Airbnb) and it easily tops my favorite places I’d move to. Extremely walkable, has a beach that isn’t the best but quick ferry to other AC towns. I can’t praise the place enough, very very few tourists when I was there and everything was fairly cheap! Highly recommend checking it out. I love Istanbul, I enjoyed BA as well. I’ve been to Paris a few times and it fits all my requirements but I’m not sure I want to live there. Adding London and Seoul to the list. Great food, very nice architecture, lots of parks. Palermo and Palermo soho are nice neighborhoods. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.
Fucking everywhere. Driven by crazy testosterone fueled idiots who think they own the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this road. The delivery drivers were the worst. Depends what you mean by walkable. It’s enormous. Just walking from Microcentro to Palermo Hollywood is 1,5 hour walk and that’s still in the centre area of the city. Always interesting things to see on the way though Came here to say this! Baires has a walkability score of 99 and is considered one of the best cities in the world for this. FYI to other commenters, a measure of walkability includes availability of public transport which Baires certainly has. Seoul, Hongdae. Buenos Aires, Palermo or San Telmo. CDMX, Historical district / Zona Rosa / Coyachon. Paris. Sao Paulo, Liberdade or Avenue Paulista. Santiago, Chile.
All walkable. Although in some cities if the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this public transportation is good(and cheap) enough I factor that into the walkability of the city. The cities in Latin America I listed all have a lot of greenery and are very pleasant to walk in. Big walkable cities are my favorite travel destination. For walkability you can’t beat old town centers in Europe. Spain and Italy have some that are workable on your budget. In Asia, ex Japan, the cities are terrible, but if you are willing to go to villages you can find piece and quiet sometimes. Or beach towns, if you mostly stick to the beach. Japan is quite nice, as all the drivers are very polite, and the cities have public transit and decent sidewalks.
What did you find terrible about the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this cities in Japan? I thought Tokyo was awesome and it definitely fits the bill for walkable. I haven’t been to Japan yet but I plan on going at the end of the year for a couple months. Totally agree that old town centers in Europe are the best for this. Do you have any favorites? I’m thinking of trying out Madrid and Krakow later this year. Even Madrid/Barcelona are ok for parks and scenery. However many smaller cities may be better for what you are looking for. 4 – Slovenia meets a lot of your requirements too, it’s one of our favorites. Check out Ljubljana, Bovek, and Kamnik. I’ve been to Budapest once and loved it, going back this year for work and I want to stay for a month. CDMX is great and I’ve spent some time there, I really love the food in that city. I enjoyed my time in Santos, Brazil and I stayed right on the beach. Gym, grocery, malls, restaurants all within walking distance and I went for workouts/walks along the beach often San Sebastian, Spain. There is a beach on each side of the old town – which is filled with awesome restaurants and tapas bars. Beautiful city with fantastic food If you want parks, mountains, beach, and city, all perfectly blended together in a walkable (but also public transportable) area, you can’t do better than Hong Kong. It’s the most stunning mix of terrain I’ve ever seen. You’ll be in Cyberpunkville one second and lost in a dense jungle the next.
Miami Beach is more of a neighborhood than a city, and Miami Dade County which is what people think of when they think of Miami is not walkable at all, unfortunately Heidelberg Germany, Florence Italy, Chiang Mai Thailand, Edinburgh Scotland (Florence is considered to be the Three Turtle Santa Reindeer Merry Christmas shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this most walkable city in the world period) Paris is a wonderful walkable city, but it has no mountains and no beaches, so it doesn’t really meet OP’s interest. But, yeah, Paris is one of the truly great cities in the world. Oop, I was really just answering the question for myself. But I don’t think they meant every aspect of the list given re: scenery. Cape Town is very walkable in the neighborhoods any nomad would live in. I stayed two months in sea point and walked everywhere San Francisco. Mexico City. Paris outer arrondissements (I’m serious – very walkable and you don’t need to live in a shoebox, just to speak french and to possibly be ok with dealing with actual rentals instead of digital nomad nonsense). Porto. Bogotá. One of the cities with most bike lanes in the world. It’s not for everybody though. Imagine a New York but you don’t know crap about it so if you are inexperienced you could end up in an AirBnb in the worst part of the Bronx.
