basically, there are a million solutions to this problem lol and I have all of them so please hire me, this comment is entirely directed at the This Is My Pride Flag Tie Dye American Flag 4th Of July T-Shirt in other words I will buy this Thredup marketing team / recruiting team who has rejected my app thrice, sorry to the commenter who I have used as a springboard for my sales pitch. Thank you for your service. I have the same gripes about ThredUP and had given up on it. I hope they listen to your comments! Also, to add to this, ThreadUp is absolutely awful at getting accurate chest measurements. They are always so off on their bust measurements it’s ridiculous and I don’t know how they get it SO wrong constantly. i mention in a later comment – i’ve noticed they measure seam- to -seam. which makes sense, but it means every backless top or dress is minimum 10 inches under the actual circumference. they still get it wrong plenty outside of that, but idk how. i know they do manual sizing usually (used to at least), but perhaps they have attempted to implement some sort of AI sizing and that’s why a bunch of them are off as well (outside of the backless stuff) ?

Not Italian but also love Jil Sander, beautiful fabrics. I got a coat from Maje with the tags still on on TRR recently for like $35. Looking at high end retailers can be also be a great source of inspo for brands to search for secondhand. For me I love the silhouette and material more than any specific brands. There are some brands that use higher quality environmentally friendly fabrics though, like cotton and silk. Some of my recent favorites are Marchesa Notte, Dear Jose, We Are Kindred, and Tolani. Tbf I love the look of feminine flowy bohemian dresses and tops haha so that might also influence what I usually go for! I find shopping on Poshmark so difficult since they don’t accept returns 🙁 I’ve bought a lot of things that I ended up donating because they didn’t fit right. Especially shoes lol
