Yeah, same but for my kid. When you get a physical done these questions are asked. Then you turn the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt besides I will buy this physical form into the school. I’m from a different state than this one and that looks like the exact same form. People that say they didn’t get that question may not be paying attention when the physical comes up – usually a parent fills out what they can, hands it to the doctor for their section and they sign it. My kid didn’t even care to review it. I believe it’s just a way to gauge their liability. They asked heart questions, eye questions and other things that are going to affect people that the school wants to be aware of to limit liability. A kid with endometriosis, for example, will need the coach to understand why they can’t run, and at 12 kids are still figuring out if they have any issues regarding periods at this point. Simply asking “is your kid suffering from endometriosis or whatever syndrome” would probably get a “no” instead of the details that might lead to accommodations. That’s how I took it anyway. You might argue that’s private, but I have to tell the school my child is diagnosed ADHD for a sport as well, and the medicine she takes, and I find pigeon holing my kid right out of the gate as offensive as well. Everyone gets laid bare on these things in the name of liability.
This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater, long sleeve tee
if you have no other option, put down random stuff that seems reasonable. How on earth are they going to verify it I understand not wanting to share it because it’s personal info (especially with women’s healthcare and Gender healthcare in the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt besides I will buy this state that it is) that could possibly be used negatively, but that’s not why the question is being asked, in fact it’s very normal to have to answer health related questions when signing up for a sport in school. Some schools even require full physicals every year in addition to other medical tests such as concussion testing. If a woman has long gaps between periods it could be a sign of further health conditions or the athlete pushing their body too hard. In fact in women’s soccer, the menstrual cycle is linked to an increase in certain types of injury.
If still think it’s not an okay question to ask, I’m not going to argue with you, it’s very personal and I understand why someone wouldn’t want to share it, but it’s not being asked because the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt besides I will buy this coaches are “perverts” it’s being asked because it paints a fuller medical picture of the athlete. this is so fucking invasive and uncomfortable. I’ll tell you about my period on my own terms tyvm. And who tf keeps track of there period that throughly As a guy, I would have answered the questions with dates, events, or time ranges that were too far back or too damn long or short to make sense. How much time do you usually have from the start of one period to the start of another? The average human reaction time by sight.

More about this This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt
Garbage answers. Age of first period: 7. Length of time between periods: 5 days. How many periods in the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt besides I will buy this last year: 25. Longest time between periods: 6 months. Psycho Handmaid’s Tale shit. What do they want next – daily semen samples from the men? Or do they not give a shit what happens with the men? It’s pretty obvious what this is for. Still, I’d answer every single question with “It’s none of your fucking business” and turn it in. I was in California when I wanted to try out for volleyball in Middle School. The coach made a point of saying our periods are no excuse for bad performance, and if we can’t handle our menstrual cycles without complaining about cramps, etc., then we should just drop out now.
It was a male coach so it was super weird an inappropriate to talk about this in a classroom full of girls, I never forgot it and I didn’t join because of it. Check with her pediatrician but I suspect that might be privileged medical information that could be covered my HIPPA. Make sure that the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt besides I will buy this school district can safeguard the data. I’d be tempted to write “NOYFB*” on each line and spell it out at the bottom as *None of your fucking business. If you were to ask a question in public and most likely be slapped… you probably shouldn’t be asking it to people They’ve been asking this information at least since the 70s. It is routine medical history. I had a friend in high school in the 90s who died of a heart attack while playing basketball. A thorough physical probably would have made him ineligible to play and saved his life. You aren’t a doctor. The only facepalm here is you questioning Science. We know what Cons want. We know their immorality. We nd to stop listening to their lies that they’re not. More importantly, we nd to stop pretending that libs actually care to really stop them. I can imagine the guy in charge arranging all of these applications in a neat row on his desk and masturbating to them
Some of the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt besides I will buy this questions don’t even make sense. How much time from the start of one to the start of another? How is that information useful in any way?? I remember taking my physicals and having to scroll through my period calendar to answer these cause fuck if I remember When did I last period?? Shit dude, I’m bleedin’ now!! LOL!!! I LOVE BLEEDING FROM MY VAGINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Signed, Dated. I remember answering questions like this on those anonymous tests when I was in middle school. Think they were just for collecting data on teens, asked about drugs, sex, periods, hobbies and tons of random crap. How else is the coach supposed to rape them without fear of a pregnancy? This is crucial information to avoid directly that. In all seriousness, they don’t need it amd you can and should write “none of your damn business” on every one of those answer lines. 925 more repliesPretty reasonable to ensure that girls are having periods while playing soccer. You want to make sure that they don’t go underweight. A good sign that girls are underweight is their period stopping. Being underweight isn’t healthy. There’s also exercise induced amenorrhea which isn’t good either I would write in that when your child has a menstral cycle, all bloody pads will be deposited on the athletic director’s chair.
o nooooo not a simple fucking physical form to make sure an athlete is in good health. however will our fragile minds figure this conundrum out You missed the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt besides I will buy this sarcasm I suppose? Asking the girls those questions from the form is just as inappropriate as asking the boys those questions from my post. This is clearly not ok, but this is a tweet from July of 2023 … I don’t know why I come back to this rage baiting karma farming website. I think I could have transferred the information by smoke signal and it would have gotten out faster. This is to make trans women go away and if they don’t it sets the cultural tone of them pushed towards a closet. I don’t think this is all that weird at all. Every sports team I participated with as a child all the way through high school required a physical and a doctor cupping my balls and asking me to cough. I played football, basketball and soccer and ran track and those sports were concurrent and yet I still had to make separate doctor appointments for each sport and do a physical every year and was asked plenty of personal questions. Did they ask you to document your ejaculations? When did you have your first one? How long between them? Biggest volume? Etc. In their quest to shield their children from the perversions of the non existent transgender threat they came up with something way worse and even more perverted to be managed by people with no qualifications. Let’s all try to act surprised when we get the first report of a male coach taking the initiative to perform his own examinations in the name of “sports”.
I’m a guy so this does not directly apply to me, but I recommend every woman tell Utah to kiss their ass. This is private information and not available to these fucking politicians and religious zealots. This kind of stuff just makes me boil. I’ve had enough of this country, I’m seriously making plans to move to Canada. It’s basically a better version of America, even their conservatives are liberal compared to this country’s fascist republicans, and frankly I’m sick of the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this bullshit medical capitalism of this fucked country along with many other things. Fuck this country & patriotism in general. The answer to all 3 is transphobia. Literally any of the bills passed requiring this shit were because of transphobic creeps She essentially said a girl’s menstrual cycle is like a barometer for her general health. They are documenting where she is at now. Significant changes to her body from injury weight loss or stress can cause changes. They are collecting baseline data to prevent lawsuits
Holy Joseph I hate mt fucking state. God damn I hate these creepy ass Republicans. Anyone looking for a roommate in a sensible state? This is nothing more than a way for them to passively monitor the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this girls. In a post Roe environment people are doing anything and everything to monitor and prevent females from getting abortions or even basic medical stuff done. I would absolutely not answer any of those questions. And I’d let the office know I was pissed they even asked. Absolutely NOT on that one. No one should have this information except for the doctor. If a student has a health problem involving menstrual periods, school personnel sure ain’t gonna be the ones to fix it. Hay to all the people saying this is just a basic medical check, and sports physicians aren’t being weird perverts for asking these overly intrusive questions for high school sports , I’ve got two words for you Must be from one of ‘those’ states that thinks women and girls are not human beings and must be controlled by old men and religious fanatics Lord I love beeing a conservative and giving up so many of my rights just so that we can persecute a minority 5% better I’m not saying this is appropriate. However your menstrual period can be a strong indicator of health and if you’re over, straining yourself physically and your period start getting erratic it could be a sign that you need to take a break and see a doctor. I don’t think that should have anything to do with your coach though.
Fuck you is the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this answer. I’m a guy (with a daughter) and had no understanding about why this matters until it was explained by my wife. Over my dead body, the state will get this info. The people who thought of asking kids &parents to answer these questions are fucking gross. If I my daughter brought this to me my wife and I would fucking rage. pedos in in hardcore maga states got the blast of their live these days… “We have to protect children from trans propanda… By sexually assaulting 8 years olds” This is what transphobia and misogyny gets you. Investigating the gender of kids and demanding private information. Yeah, as a school nurse, it’s called a physical. Like every other bodily system, the proper function of the female reproductive system is indicative of overall health. As in, this lady’s kid should not play soccer if the player doesn’t get her period because she’s anemic and going to pass out in the middle of a practice. It’s literally a health history questionnaire. This is not a new thing or a Utah thing. This has been part of every sports start of year form I have filled out for the past 10-12 years. Edit: This is a common question to try and catch eating disorders, over-training, or stress related dysfunction for female athletes. Answers wouldn’t bar a child from competing.
I feel like we are going backwards. We are effectively shitting on the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this faces of all the women in the Women Suffrage Movement and I’m pissed off. I mean it’s fucking Utah where a 14-year-old girl will go into a room with a 50-year-old man and he will ask her sexual questions about whether or not she has touched herself, has sexual thoughts, has masturbated to the point of orgasm, and they all think it’s perfectly normal just because he’s called Bishop so this is pretty minor compared to that shit. Jfc this has nothing to do with trans kids. It looks identical to background questions I was asked on my daughter’s pre-participation physical. Ya know, to make sure the kid is healthy enough to play and so that if there’s issues the Dr can dig deeper to oh, I don’t know, treat them?
It’s not uncommon for a high school sports physical to entail a form provided by the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this state high school sports governing body, which you then take to your doctor to be completed and returned to the school. This is to ensure that it is safe for the student to participate in the sport. I have no idea for this form in particular how it originated, but I think there’s a solid chance this is just another case of this sub falling for ragebait, like it always does. The coach and school admin don’t see this. This is the pre physical questionnaire that is filled out before the Dr fills out the physical form and is kept on file as part of the patient’s chart. The Dr performing the physical sees this so they’re aware of the kid’s medical history. That’s it. Then they fill out the rest of the physical that’s turned in to the school approving the activity, approving it with certain restrictions, or not approving it based on the exam.
Genuine question, is this not normal?? Growing up in Alabama every sport thing for girls since I was in middle school required your period info There’s a link between ACL tears and menstrual cycle. Universities are now using cycle dare to avoid ACL injuries.. The phrase to use here is: “None of your fucking business, this violates medical privacy law and is not legally requirable. See (legal counsel name) for details “Female athlete triad” is common enough that this screening questionnaire would potentially keep female sports participants healthy. Can also be a good way to detect Turner or PCOS. Redditors are not immune to propaganda. In case anyone is wondering: low body fat i.e., low leptin levels and increased cortisol through stress/exercise causes decreased GnRH release leading to low FSH and LH, and subsequent low estrogen. No estrogen, no ovulation. This is a STANDARDIZED form developed by a bunch of medical groups that has been in existence with slight modifications for DECADES. Here’s the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this current version: more replies”Dr. Rebecca Carl, associate professor at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness, said physicians ask athletes about their menstrual cycles because irregularities could indicate poor bone health. For athletes who run a lot (i.e. soccer players, cross country runners), that could point to an increased risk of stress fractures.” “Carl also said it’s common for athletes who menstruate and play sports that encourage a lean physique to have irregular or even nonexistent periods, and that can happen to multiple members of the same team. The commonality of that, however, is not necessarily considered healthy.”
Those are questions that are pretty standard with the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this athletics physical. It’s kinda sus that they aren’t showing us the rest of the form. I have a feeling it’s the same form every kid has to fill out and take to the doctor before you can get cleared to play. it helps them make a better medical judgement… if the female athlete triad seems to be common in university, you can bet its alot more common in high school. and if you down vote, reply with your reasoning I believe the legally appropriate response to all of those questions is “get fucked it’s none of your goddam business you fucking weirdo religious creeps.” It’s not (or at least thats not why it’s asked on the forms. They could possibly use it for something like that as well but i see no reason to assume that just based on the fact that they asked a standard question)
It’s a standard question that is included on forms like these in most states (i think there are like 4 or 5 states that don’t, but i admit I’m not entirely sure on the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this exact number), in adherence to the guidelines set by the American College of Sports Medicine over 20 years ago. I know it’s topical to presume that, but an alternative: It’s a health screener and irregular menstruation can be a sign of health issues. The above questions on the sheet likely had similar gender non-specific questions. The school screeners are both to catch ongoing issues, to establish a baseline before the student becomes involved in practice, and to protect against civil liability in the case a student/parent claims a change in their student was due to the school’s activity. This can be managed by actual pediatric physicians. Doctorates trained in caring for the physical health of youth, particularly for, during and around puberty and the associated changes.
Its standard for pediatricians to have long term care and monitoring to track growth changes and measure any concerns. Imo this is a violation of hippa. It is not necessary for schools and coaches to have this information. Not to mention schools and coaches have neither the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this knowledge nor information to be able to make any informed diagnosis of potential issues Just like you’d screen for anything else, like ‘Have you fainted in the last 6 months?’ or ‘Do you have a family history of heart problems?’ or ‘Do you have an allergy to latex?’ it’s in the interest of all three parties – individual, school, and community, that screeners like these exist to catch potential medical issues related to the activity. Yes, if you have a serious problem and the luxury of having a regular primary care physician, then you would track the treatment of any conditions through them, but screening steps in school activities are commonplace and help to keep kids/parents who might not even know of potential common issues from endangering their kid, or it can funnel them into getting professional treatment.
HIPAA privacy protection involves the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this existence and transfer of medical records between hospitals, insurers, patients, and other third party healthcare services. It doesn’t cover anything to do with health information volunteered by a student – which would fall under other privacy policies specific to, likely, the school district – or in this case I think this repost is from Utah’s statewide sports agency. For years, female athletes in Utah high schools and some universities have answered questions about their menstrual cycles in order to participate in athleticsa practice that happens in almost every state in the country and has recently drawn heavy criticism in Florida. Dr. Rebecca Carl, associate professor at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness, said physicians ask athletes about their menstrual cycles because irregularities could indicate poor bone health. For athletes who run a lot (i.e. soccer players, cross country runners), that could point to an increased risk of stress fractures. Carl also said it’s common for athletes who menstruate and play sports that encourage a lean physique to have irregular or even nonexistent periods, and that can happen to multiple members of the same team. The commonality of that, however, is not necessarily considered healthy.
“The athletes may think that that’s normal, but that is an alarming sign of increased risk for stress fracture,” Carl said. “So sports medicine physicians and pediatricians, we do not consider that to be normal, even though it’s common. That’s concerning, and that’s why we ask about frequency of menstrual periods.” The UHSAA, University of Utah, Weber State and Utah State all have forms that ask questions about an athlete’s menstrual cycle in a “females only” section. The USHAA’s form specifically asks: In fact, high school activities associations in nearly every state use preparticipation forms that ask for menstruation information, according to a review by The Salt Lake Tribune. Many of the This guy is going to be a grandpa Shirt but in fact I love this forms were created by the AAP. The relevance on menstrual irregularity and sports-related injuries is valid, as well as being part of a way to screen for nutritional/food insecurity/eating disorder or any number of other conditions where menstrual irregularity is a possible symptom:
