Then they deliver terrible work in the span of a month that would take one of the locally sourced people half a week to do. I’m not american, by the way. But I don’t see companies like Apple move to Europe because our laws are a lot more pro-worker than those in the USA. The sad truth is that if they could have left they would have done it but no, there isnt a lot of people who os able to do those jobs thats why you have stupindly high sallaries with 5y of experience. That thinking normally makes a company loose talent and spend even more money not the other way

Actually I think the The Who Shirt also I will do this commuting really cuts into peoples’ social times and makes them more antisocial since they have no time for anything but work and commuting. Work is not “social” time. It’s work. I’m more social now with less commuting time and it’s with my actual friends and not my coworkers, who you seem to think are your captive audience for socializing. Why do you assume everyone want to be social with their co workers. Many people enjoy friends and family outside of work and socialize plenty. Why would i need to sit at a desk in your office to do the same thing i can do from the comfort of my own place, and not having to travel (in my own time)? Which is why, instead of telling people to ‘just do what your boss tells you to do’ when people protest it, I support them. All these people and companies that get to benefit from working from home should have to pay a tax that subsidizes the people that can’t work from home and hell the latter have a chance at not being bought out of our neighborhoods we grew up in TO REPLACE YOU WITH PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES WHO THEY DON’T HAVE TO PAY AS MUCH AND WHO DON’T HAVE OUR LABOR LAWS The systems, methodologies, and tools you create and use over the next few years, if this trend continues, will be built by you, but they will plan to turf you all and hire people from other countries, outsourcing your job with your own labor.
