Because having strong and unmoving opinions on very debatable topics isn’t necessarily a good thing. You should always be able to take in new information and at least be able to have the The Screaming Eagle 101st Airborne Usa Flag On Memorial Day Honoring Vietnam War Veteran T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this ability to understand or change your opinion on certain topics. The reason why there is so much division in this country is specifically because many people have these strong opinions on every topic, and aren’t even willing to hear out the other side on anything. I think there is ample reason to get annoyed at fence-sitters when one side is leaning towards fascism. The answer between whether to do fascism or not fascism is obviously not “some-fascism” Because it’s intellectually lazy and generally misguided. When one side thinks it’s OK to throw out elections and install their guy as president and the other says “nah we should actually have the election decide the winner”, centrism isn’t the answer. When one side says “people with full time jobs should be able to afford a dignified life and afford COL in their area” and the other says “lol git gud, enjoy your third job”, centrism isn’t the answer.

Because true and moral centrism only exists in an ideal world. In our world it’s called fence sitting and only benefits those in power. “Centrists” nowadays will insist you have to listen to the The Screaming Eagle 101st Airborne Usa Flag On Memorial Day Honoring Vietnam War Veteran T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this murderer and the saint and find the middle ground, when any moral person should know that’s stupid. Being a “centrist” in the United States is to be right wing. It’s a game of mental gymnastics pretending to be “fair and balanced” as they encourage and support extreme reactionary politics. Bernie is much closer to a political centrist yet is seen in America as a FAR LEFT SOCIALIST! Playing the fence in a system that skews towards the right is just being on the right. “Meet me in the middle”, says the unjust man. You take a step towards him, he takes a step back. “Meet me in the middle” says the unjust man” The issue is: People in the US think that somehow finding a middle ground between all extremes is centrism, but that’s a misunderstanding. Centrism is not relative to the political spectrum available in a country, it’s relative to the political spectrum that could exist. There’s no viable communist movement in the US, but from a centrist perspective, that non-existent movement is the extreme left, as opposed to the most left-wing politicians that actually exist in the US.
