I get to the area my GPS takes me to and the pin is in the middle of the road. I had no worries though because there’s only one area it could be, a very small complex containing no more than ten apartments that are surrounded by fields on all sides. I pulled into the only entrance, which was a small, straight road not more than 150 feet in length. It had small pull offs on both sides for each residence. Five on the left and five on the right. I am supposed to deliver to apartment “C” and only a couple apartments have their porch light on. One of which happens to be the third apartment down on the left, I knew that had to be it. When I pulled up in front of that apartment I saw a letter and quickly glanced at it, it said C, or so I thought. This was confirmation enough for me and so I delivered the food with a knock as requested and left without any issues.

About 5 minutes later I get a text that just says “wrong house” with no context or anything. I start to back out and turn around, while doing so my headlights catch the letter again and noticed it actually said G! It’s just that the bottom of the G wasn’t reflecting as well as the top making it look like C at a quick glance. I started feeling like such a fuck up, I should’ve just looked closer. I wanted the CV gone so bad that I lied to support when challenging it, I said “I drove back and checked and it was still there, it was indeed in the right location”. It did get the CV removed but I felt a bit guilty about lying after I got some sleep and thought about it later that day.
