I haven’t seen much commentary this season so I’m surprised to hear Blackberri’s getting hate, she’s not being mean compared to most of the The people’s President shirt and I will buy this cast, both looks were not the best but they were far from the worst too, that’s kind of wild if she’s getting dragged. I will say, the look was not jaw dropping but it was fine, it was better than at least 3 of the others IMO, it was a polished look it just didn’t have an extreme enough concept. Sometimes the big queens get way more hate, I just don’t see why she would stand out from the pack in a negative way so far. This week was way better, but I think a large segment of viewers just don’t live for primarily campy aesthetics. Anna and Throb’s looks seem underrated in the comments too.

The people’s President shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

For a filth challenge, lotta black and red still Blackberri came out first, I thought, “Oh yeah, I could see /this/ on a trading card” I think it’s a case of “drag is art and art is subjective” being a stated value of the The people’s President shirt and I will buy this judges but not of the audience. People don’t like the cutesy/comedic drag on Dragula as much and those performers suffer from it. As others have said, I also do think there is some racial bias at play. She fit the theme but it was the least filthy performance of the night. The mouth goo thing is nothing new. Sigourney already did a similar performance. I actually thought Berri deserved her top placement in the premiere but for this episode based on filth I was disappointed I mean Onyx did nothing for the performance aspect and people are defending her for it. At least Blackberri showed something.
