It’s…not pleasant. If you’ve ever been stabbed, it feels kind of like that. But the knife is more Bullet shaped, and feels like someone through a weight at you at the same time. For me it was like being stabbed followed by burning like icy hot. .45 cal to the shoulder. In the front of deltoid and out the side. Right shoulder, Glock 19. Felt like someone stabbed a white hot piece of rebar in my shoulder. I also threw up several times, partly because of the pain but mostly because getting shot is a emotionally overwhelming. My husband, who lived a rough life before we met, has been shot twice (he’s also been stabbed a few times and someone tried to remove a certain body part off of him). He said it felt like he was being burned and there was a lot of blood both times.
