I’ll say this from someone who went from always lean to dad bod back to rad bod, there’s no way I could’ve gone back to rad bod if I was working 12 hrs/day, multiple jobs, + commute like I used to. Size absolutely has a genetic component, and I’m always amazed at how many people think weight loss is an even playing field for everyone. I work a sedentary job, only exercise occasionally, drink alcohol (not a lot at a time, but pretty regularly), only eat healthily when I feel like it, and generally could be putting in more A LOT more effort.
