Source: best friend is a district manager. Also. I miss their Sweet Onion sauce. Used to get me tuna subs at least once a week with it. They’re damn near still a thing, they have like a perpetual discount code that slightly changes, you can get one for $6 or $7 still ShAnd the commercial where this lady would measure one foot with her hands like “this big!?” and she’d open her mouth in disbelief.

I can make a sandwich at home for 1/10 of the costs When I want to feel really old, I think about when I was a little kid and my folks could get us 7 hamburgers for a dollar. This was like early-mid 60’s. If we are undoing inflation here, I’d like to go back to the time of ten cent king sized candy bars. I was really ticked as a kid when they went from ten to twenty five cents and cut the size in one jump. The Subway near one of my old jobs used to get so screwed when they issued coupons for 3 12″ subs for $12. we’d send the most junior worker over to pick them up for us. Subway used to mail these coupons out once a month and you’d get 2 coupons per sheet. I’d collect extras out of the recycle bin in my building, and we’d pool them together at work. Imagine feeding six people for $12. We usually had enough coupons for about half the month. All you had to do was bring a drink and a bag of chips from home. $2 for a six inch sandwich.
