What’s crazy is Al Bundy works a $15/hr job supports two kids, a lazy wife and has a mortgage. That didn’t make sense in the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this 1980’s and still wouldn’t today. It’s wild because this is the 4th time I’ve seen this chain in threads. This guy posts and then a bunch of comments saying something about hating his pfp haha. I’ve never been so aware of a specific redditor It’s part of the gag. It’s that type of humor of hating your wife and getting bored of seeing teh same person after 20 years or whatever Fun fact, the writers and casting initially wanted the wife to look unkempt and schlubby (think Roseanne) but Katy Segal didn’t go into the line reading dressed that way and it won over the show runners, and it was a great move. None of that show would work with an ugly wife.
The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt: buy and enjoy this shirt
I think the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this most disappointing thing about the Futurama episode with Alcazar was the fact that they didn’t get Ed O’Neil to play Alcazar. He is turned off because she does nothing and contributes nothing to the household. It’s not that he literally finds her unattractive. Quite a few episodes he shows that he actually loves her, like when he turns down the one night sex with that rich lady and when he hides a photo family in between the jugs magazine Jokes about a balding middle aged guy not being attracted to his hot slutty wife? What the hell, throw those in there too! He’s repulsed by her personality more than anything I think, he’s not a fan of her laziness. If you remember I think the barbecue episode when he sees her working hard he keeps sleeping with her. She is generally mean and degrading to Al and he’s been having sex with her for at least 16+ years just by the start of the series when he wants to have sex with much younger women. So it’s not that she’s physically repulsive, but he’s been there hundreds of times and she has an awful personality (from Al’s perspective, we obviously find it funny), and he was never that into her in the first place, she just got pregnant. Well obviously it’s just fiction, but I think they’re old and worn down and their libido is out of sync. Peg seems to want sex more than Al, but Al gets turned on by Peg sometimes too: Al gets turned on any time she does something wifely like cooking or cleaning. He still finds her attractive, he’s jsut upset with how useless she is around the hosue.
I’m Gen X with no wife, no ex wife. No kids. Compared to all of the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this Gen X-ers that I know, I am the outlier. And not solely because Of my current status. But it’s because my current status is what I wanted as opposed to ‘it just ended up this way’ or a similar variant. T It’s trippy hearing the analogies that my friends make about being marriage. I seem to be the one that they don’t hold back when they describe it. “It’s like having cable with just one channel man. I love Cinemax, but goddamn, sometimes I wanna watch HBO” That one is my personal favorite. And the woman who said this to me is a dear friend of mine. And she was saying this about her husband- also a dear friend of mine. I always want to say: “so what, you thought it was gonna be a smorgasbord?” And they love each other. And to bring it back to the tv show – they also love each other. When you boil it down, they clearly did.
Description for The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt
MWC was definitely a formulaic trope and Fox made it work because the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this show had a good run. But there were shows before it that we’re using the same template that we’re just as good (or better). Also shows that used the same template that came after that we’re just as good(or better). Part of the appeal for MWC was the family dynamic was at best a dysfunctional one. And that’s where the charm was. Very relatable, especially to an American target audience. I call it: “the Chernobyl Family”. Instead of what was coined “the Nuclear Family”. Peggy was hot. What he was repulsed by was her behavior. She didnt work. She also didnt do one damned thing around the house. No cooking, cleaning, gardening anything. She exoected his check as soon as he walked in the door. He could have had a promising career in football but got baby trapped into a marriage and wound up working as a shoe salesman.
He would work open to close every day, come home, no dinner of course, and all he wanted was to watch a game and have a beer and she would nag the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this second he walked in the door. Al Bundy was a High School All American who not only had a full scholarship to the SEC school of his choice, but he once scored 4 touchdowns in a single game. Sadly, he was not able to attend college after having unprotected sex during the holiday break of his senior year. I don’t think it was unprotected. I remember an episode where they said the condom broke because Al kept reusing the same one. It sounds preposterous, but there was a guy when I was in college who didn’t understand why his girlfriend got pregnant because they “used the condom both times they had sex”. Not a condom, but the condom. He turned the condom inside out and used it again the second time they had sex because condoms are expensive. There were 6 places on campus where you could get condoms free. I’ll just say a lot of folks make it TO college that don’t make it THROUGH college. Homie sounds like he’ll realize that Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard, so maybe he should drop out too. I work IT in a hospital. I have come to the conclusion that doctors had to be doctors because they are useless at everything else. No idea how someone can study for 6 years in a university and still have no idea how to do basic functions on a PC. The test consists of them sitting at a table in an otherwise empty room. Then they are handed a telephone book (it is an old joke). Their reactions are recorded.
Math student: ” Weird. The numbers seem to be in total arbitrary arrangements. I see no rhyme or reason to this. Probably just a printed out RNG. Literature student: “Hm. The text is totally unaccessible. Must be something post modern. I wonder if somebody has already made a play out of it. The medical student just stares at the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this book in defeat. He opens it, flips through a few pages, looks at the page count, sighs heavily and just asks: “Until when?” The joke is that the medical student assumes he just has to memorize the phone book because that is they do with all text books. It’s a Dodge Stratus. Of course it’s company policy never to imply ownership in the event of a Dodge Stratus… always use the indefinite article The Dodge, never your Dodge. It was a 1970s Plymouth Duster they called a Dodge, the exact year of the car depends on what episode it’s in. 71, 73, 74. every image of the engine inside of the car it is a slant 6 but they always played it as a V8 I don’t know how old the characters were meant to be, but when Married With Children started, Ed O’Neill was 41, and Katey Sagal was 33. (The one that always gets me is that when David Ogden Stiers started playing Charles Emerson Winchester III in MASH, he was 35. 🙂
Don’t let anything distract you from the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this fact that 58 years ago, Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High Panthers in the city championship game. It’s an age-old trope of a husband being turned off my his wife. The whole show was old tropes – the put-out husband, the scheming son, the sex-pot daughter, the temptress neighbor – they just went over the top with them all and it worked. I saw the actor who played Steve years back in Silence of the Lambs: The Musical off Broadway. He played Hannibal Lector, was absolutely hilarious and got a standing ovation. Recently, I was watching an old season of Roseanne and saw one of the producers was called Marcy Carsey, and that is when the true joke of Marcy D’Arcy’s name dawned on me. Only 30 years later!
If you watch some of the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this early episodes, she is supposed to be the “frigid in the sheets, freak in the sheets” stereotype and there are several episodes where she let’s her freak flag fly. They appeared around the time of perfect families like the Cosby Show (ew) and rich people stuff like Dynasty, BH 90210. I think this is closest to the actual right answer. Everything about the show is basically an anti-Cosby show. The Cosby Show actually had all sorts of “oh goodie sex time!” scenes with the parents. It was playing against the typical tropes of the time, not playing into them. “Around that time you had all these shows with these perfect families. The Cosby Show, Family Ties… I liked that we weren’t like that. We were more like an actual family.”
It’s really concerning how many people these days don’t understand how story telling works. They seem to believe the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this point of a story is to be logic and realistic, rather than entertaining and/or thematic. He’s repulsed by her wifely qualities but actually finds her physically attractive. There’s an episode, I can’t remember which, where she puts on a mask and starts dancing at the bar and he falls for her… Until she takes the mask off. I think he doesn’t actually find her physically repulsive. I think it more like he doesn’t like that he feels trapped by her. He got her pregnant and lost his scholarship and football career and future. Now’s he’s a shoe salesman and trapped with a wife and kids he doesn’t want. If she were anyone else he’d find her attractive and he did at one point. He’s not repulsed by her body he’s repulsed by what she represents to him. It isn’t even her “wifely” qualities. The problem is, even by her own words, she doesn’t do work around the house, at all. She barely cooks, even for the children, and only even pretends to do housework if she wants something from him. When she was doing stuff around the house, he was really into her.
To simplify things for people coming to this a bit late, and save you from having to search through all the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this comments: Al was a promising football player, with a future, and at least one if not several full scholarships. Peggy was the “town bike” type of girl. In that every boy would ‘get a ride’ with her. She was also a decently popular cheerleader. At some point in Al’s senior year (it’s implied it was her senior year) they began dating, and had sex in the back of his car at a drive in movie. Al mistakenly reused the condom they had, causing it to break and getting Peggy pregnant, thus destroying his college scholarship and whatever future he had, as he was forced to marry her. Married life wasn’t great for Al, as he quickly learned that Peggy was notorious for her laziness, once being described by neighbor Marcy D’Arcy as “the laziest bitch in Chicago”. She also had expensive tastes, often purchasing extravagant items that will take her husband Al years to pay for. Lastly, she constantly would insult Al in everything he did, effectively reminding him that because of her, he lost whatever future he may have had. Long story short, he does love her (and vice versa) as seen in a few different episodes, but he’s justifiably sick of her living like a spoiled princess off of his very shitty paycheck. She doesn’t do anything except eat Bonbons and watch trash TV.
Best episode ever, Bud wins a radio party with Anthrax and they eat pegs mystery meal, causing them to hallucinate. One week in Hollywood and made the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this most of it. Also saw the live taping of Seinfeld in the episode where they go to a Nazi rally. Jerry came out before the show and did the crowd warm up himself. they didnt marry out of love. they had a shotgun wedding. gist they got marreid cause she was pregnant. shes a lazy stay at home wife that dosent really do stuff around the house and spends his money. hes in a dead end job. What’s crazy is Al Bundy works a $15/hr job supports two kids, a lazy wife and has a mortgage. That didn’t make sense in the 1980’s and still wouldn’t today. It’s wild because this is the 4th time I’ve seen this chain in threads. This guy posts and then a bunch of comments saying something about hating his pfp haha. Yeah A combination of confidence, strength and kindness makes for a really attractive man. That’s the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this advice I tell other guys when it comes to dating. And although people use the terms interchangeably i think it’s important to point out the difference in being nice and being kind. People should aim to be kind and with a back bone. As a bigger dude, this is partially learned behavior. People smaller than us act afraid of us, so we kind of go out of our way to be kind and non-threatening. My natural instinct is to be kind to people anyway, but I do go out of my way to make that part of me more apparent. I’m pretty reluctant to raise my voice, and I try to make my tone gentler when I have to be louder.
Watching my 6’2, 350lb, muscular af man turn into the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this softest, sweetest teddy bear ever when our daughters are sick or hurt or tired just makes my ovaries explode. I wanna have 12 more of his babies I swear to god mine smudge the inside of my glasses too, and the ones at the ends get all tangled up, so i pull em out, but they keep growing back When I was 11, I cut mine off with tiny scissors from a Christmas cracker so I could see into a microscope better He really does. Sometimes I just sit on the toilet and watch him slowly furl and unfurl, and wonder what he’s thinking about. We compartmentalize stuff in our brains. Angry, ok… shove it to a closet and shut the door, then sleep. Open again in the morning. Goes with most stuff. My wife has never understood how it works, referring her thinking as more like a funnel cake. I’m a woman and in all fairness I do that too. For me it’s an avoidance behaviour mechanism and I hope to wake up more calm and I usually do. Men are generally larger and stronger, with a higher strength to weight ratio. What this means is that an angry man is inherently dangerous, yet our hormones and typical brain structures means that “anger” is our natural first negative emotion. So, one of the most important things that a teenage boy learns is to suppress his anger; if he doesn’t, he is a danger to society and will likely end up in prison.
Their ability to see a sniper in the The Hawks 100 Years 1025 2025 Abbey Road Thank You For The Memories Shirt Furthermore, I will do this tower across the map in Warzone yet can’t see the thing they’re looking for in the fridge 18” from their nose What about how they can memorize in game maps, but have no idea where that sheet pan gets put away in the house they have lived in for 8 years? Invalid argument when you are married to the type that puts things away in a different random place every damn time The sniper is in the right spot / where it’s supposed to be, the ketchup is not. When I go to look for something, I don’t necessarily “look,” I just go to the spot where it should already be. Any deviation from the spot will result in me rewiring my brain in real time, it’s just how my mind works.
