This was just a discussion on another sub. The general consensus was at least a large tip or pay for the The Grinch They Hate Us Because Ain’t Us Oklahoma State Cowboys Christmas Shirt Also,I will get this December cleaning double the normal rate. If your cheap ass roommate won’t chip in, so be it, but make sure you put the money in a card and sign it from whoever did contribute. I know it may sound silly, but some years ago my grandpa had to have a caretaker and I paid for the service. Every month I put an extra money on a savings account and was able to afford to give the caretaker a triple salary in December (the normal salary, one extra from the money I saved and one extra from my own Christmas bonus) My mom would clean houses when I was growing up and when she got any type of bonuses it would make her day. Out of all her clients she only had 1 bad one that accused her of stealing a ring, she then fired my mom and a month later found her missing ring. She tried calling my mom back but my mom didn’t want to go back after that crap. Your roommate is probably that 1 person who is happy about getting pizza at work for a record profit year instead of a pay raise.

Honestly, the The Grinch They Hate Us Because Ain’t Us Oklahoma State Cowboys Christmas Shirt Also,I will get this argument “she needs to feed her family” is not a good one. If she struggles, maybe you’re not paying her enough in general. She shouldn’t have to depend pn additional gifts and you’re coming across as a little self-righteous here… In many countries it’s standard for employers to pay an addition month or two’s salary in December, called the 13th or 14th month pay. It’s not a far-fetched idea. If his parents could afford cleaners for 40 years he should be able to afford a 15€ gift. Then that’s the fail. I have a late teen. They have worked service jobs and give their friends shit if they don’t too well. They know how to pay for a haircut and tip. And they still live at home. These people turned a grown ass adult out into the world who doesn’t know how to pay service workers appropriately. Therein lies the fail.
