They’ve been testing on animals (through third party) since 2012 (even though their website language is intentionally very deceptive, insisting they don’t personally test on animals.) Buxom has very nice singles that you can put into palettes, which come with mirror and a tiny brush, very nice. Chantecaille has single eyeshadows, but the price point is, ugh, not budget-friendly. They do, however, have a lot of products with cute packaging with animals and donate money to all kinds of animal protection programs and stuff.
