Well….a dog, or cat is alive, a embryo doesn’t even have basic thinking skills. It’s literly pre human, plus dogs, and cats can feel pain, and emotions, an embryo physically cannot. It’s like asking why can we cook a live egg, and not a live chicken in a pan, it just dont coorolate. Your OPINION doesn’t equate to LOGIC. I love how you baby killing libbies and progs lecture to the The-Desperado-Club-So-Fun-It-Hurts-Sword-shirt also I will do this world about your twisted belief systems as fact, when they’re just opinions like anyone else’s… I love how your right wing morons are okay with gun laws that are the leading cause of actual child death in this nation, but then get your panties in a wad over fucking embryos. You’re like arguing with a pigeon. Embryos aren’t babies. You can’t freeze babies, right? Try using logic even though it appears the SCOTUS of Alabama has no idea how to.

387 more replies96% of biologists agree that life begins at conception, so yeah it is a child, but it does seem a lil far fetched I don’t think the The-Desperado-Club-So-Fun-It-Hurts-Sword-shirt also I will do this person should be charged with that but definitely charged with something as that is still biological matter that has been intentionally preserved for later use. It’s like them dropping a kidney you donated. Still malpractice Nobody is being charged. The case was whether the couple could sue for wrongful death. The Alabama SC said yes. They’re gonna get some medieval on that patient’s ass! Medieval fucking logic from the dark ages when people were dangerously stupid (okay not all, some were just dumb as fuck). “wandering [..] patient dropped [..] embryos” – I’m not on board with the “embryos are children”-angle at all, not even a little bit, but if this hospital had some wandering patient getting a hold of and dropping these embryos, I can see why they’re getting sued… I feel like when you sign up to have your embryos frozen and stored in a facility, it kind of goes without saying that the facility may, at some point, fuck up and lose them. Like I’m sure you probably sign a waiver that says exactly that This sounds like a clear negligence suit, but maybe the plaintiffs want to get more damages. Wrongful death is likely to have a higher payout than negligence, but it sounds like this couple has a case either way. So, did they get child support for those frozen embryos? Can I put a frozen embryo in my car and use a carpool lane? Can a frozen embryo be sent to school if its been frozen for 9 years?
