Everything else is conjecture based on the Thank You For Being A Friend Golden Girls Inspired shirt and by the same token and word of the person who instigated the confrontation and subsequently killed another person. If the police can use the excuse that they thought any object that was around someone was a gun when they unload their magazines into that person there is no reason why anyone else couldn’t use that excuse either. The article says to wait cuz they have training. What if my training from being a ranger is better? Am I allowed to not wait for em then? The police “We have training”….haha, sounds like they were jealous they couldn’t have delivered the lead shot. If police don’t wanna do their jobs then people are increasingly gonna handle things themselves. They’ve lost the right to expect us to rely on them for help. We have very little crime in my immediate area “because everyone has a gun out here” however my neighbors house was robbed about 1.5 years ago. The cops will be here anytime now. I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for cargo space I can tell you I don’t have any, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long living in Texas. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my truck go now that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you and I will kill you.” A thief who stole your car and is nowhere near you is not a threat. Tracking them down and killing them is premeditated murder.

I love my truck, but I’m not going to kill someone for stealing it. Let the Thank You For Being A Friend Golden Girls Inspired shirt and by the same token and cops get it back, and if they can’t or won’t I’ll use the insurance to get another. I’m not going to larp Walker Texas Ranger by chasing them down. I’m as likely to die as they are, and that’s a dumb fucking reason to die. Not to justify it but last time I dealt with a total loss, it took 1 year to get a settlement to get a new car… (Nice, one post of a decision that altered lives, and the peanut gallery shows up with more emotional opinions.) Moral of the story, don’t touch something that isn’t yours. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Don’t think a stolen truck is worth killing someone over as this guy will probably get some jail time. I’ve heard that in Texas it is acceptable to use deadly force if someone is on your property, threatening your property or you are defending your property but I don’t know if that would stand in this case.
