People tend to personalize everything. We think that YouTube is doing something against us personally. The truth is, they don’t care. Unless you post something that might keep them from making money, or you get to a point where you are making them a lot of money they don’t know you exist. Keep your head down and keep grinding. Stop obsessing about stats and shadowbans, and use that brain power to make your videos better. The whole point of the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt moreover I love this algorithm is to serve the viewers, not the creators. Once you understand that, it all makes sense. The website still to this day auto-unsubs me from people I’ve been watching for years regardless of how recently I watched them or they’ve posted. It’s also still the algorithm that floods our home page with things that we never asked for , looked at , or have anything in common with. and even more frustrating that algorithm makes the main page look like a nightmare. But whatever info it pulls from my views it stretches into showing 8 year old cooking videos , or something about history channles Ancient Aliens or pulls up stuff by bill nye. Idk what correlation its drawing between video game content and blender tutorials that it comes up with this trash but it’s broken.
Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt: Express with Style
It’s trying to keep viewers watching videos so that they watch ads and that earns YT/Google/Alphabet more money. It doesn’t care what your video is about. It just wants viewers to stay and watch. So if your video keeps viewers staying on YT and watching more videos and therefore more ads then the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this algo will push your videos out. The good news is that you will be happier if you stop thinking about all the stats and focus on making videos. That’s what it’s all about in the end. Good videos that people want to watch. Absolutely. I am not trying to become a youtuber, it’s a hobby about a passion of mine. I mostly enjoy the learning process, to be frank, The algorithm is absolutely a joke though. I personally don’t make content but when browsing youtube it recommends me the same few channels over and over constantly and hardly tries to show me new content or other channels.
I can click on a video about gardening by mistake and then have 90% gardening videos in my recommendation for days and days. It genuinely feels like a chore to find content outside what you are already subscribed to or bunch of rubbish channels like reaction channels etc being recommended to me all the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this time when I don’t even know these channels at all. I think this is because not everyone is looking for content selectively, most people are just content with what’s on the front page. The algorithm caters to the masses. Eh, I disagree with this to some degree. The content YouTube shows hasn’t exactly always been relevant to my interests as a viewer, and it definitely fails to showcase quite a bit of good content from underrated creators too.
About Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt
I know dozens or hundreds of YouTube creators who haven’t seen anywhere near enough success for the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this quality of their work, and seemingly do everything right as far as promotion and thumbnails and content are concerned. Does that mean they’re shadow banned? No, not really. It’s probably not a personal thing by any means, since YouTube’s systems are almost entirely automated. But the idea that you can always make it with good interesting content if you put the work in seems utterly pervasive on this sub, and it’s not the full picture by any means. You may have said it better than me but I totally agree. The algorithm wasn’t made to ban anything but offensive and plagiarized content. Maybe not even that. That stuff may have to be reported idk. Good creators may fail and mediocre ones blow up, it’s a gamble, but consistency and quality do increase our chances. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
OP doesn’t even know what the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this fk a shadow ban means. He thinks that YouTube stops any new creators content from showing and that qualifies as a shadow ban lmao. Correct. The part that most youtubers dont seem to realize. Youtube WANTS you to succeed. If your videos bring in retention, they will start circulating your content. You got to realize the algo needs to choose content out of the millions amount of videos uploaded a day. I like this optimistic advice . I’ll add one thing. It’s very important to create content for an already established niche. Videogames is a huge category — so picking a game that has a huge built in audience is going to get more views than an obscure one. Not only did I pick an obscure series, but an obscure company. Lol. But it’s the only thing I feel compelled to make videos on and I just hope to pick up some fellow fans along the way. Yeah you can go for stuff that gets views and that’s fine, but I’d rather do something I’m passionate about even if that leads to less views and an even lesser chance at “making it big”
That depends on how many large creators are already covering that game, which is a *lot* if it already has a huge built-in audience. Often what’ll happen is you’ll get buried under all the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this other people already doing it, and actually get less views because you have no exposure/visibility. There isn’t room for all of anything to succeed. That’s not the fault of the algorithm, it’s just that for any given topic, there is only room for so many videos to be shown as top results/most recommended. If you’re 100th or 1000th on that topic, you are going to be practically invisible to most viewers. Thank you for this post! It’s not only a lesson that we all need to learn. It’s also a lesson we need to remind ourselves of. Thank you for posting this. Sometimes all I get is a single positive comment on a video I pushed and that alone makes my day 🙂 Keep improving and enjoying the journey.
You’re welcome! Keep grinding and improving, and one day we’ll be the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this big time creators giving advice to the new people instead of combing the NewTuber sub for tips. What are the best software tools to make my videos more interesting for a faceless YT channel? Using stock videos is great and all but I feel like videos are kind of boring and need more creativity I have been looking for something too. I want to animate a background while I narrate. I know that it can be done in 3d software like Blender, but I don’t have the time to learn a program like that. Maybe someone else will read this and point us in the right direction. My latest video is tanking but I know YT showed the thumbnail to 2,500 people. It’s not their fault if only 19 people watched it.
100% agree, people who fail often look for a “scapegoat” reason, not how they can improve, and those who do succeed, it’s not an overnight instant gratification type of game. Yeah, people waste time looking for a problem like impressions or the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this algorithm, when the answer is right in front of them. I just explained it in the post. We are new, It takes time, we need to make better videos. It is not YouTube doing something shady to hide your posts. Instead of asking me about low impressions, you should use the time to make your channel better. The source is common sense. YouTube is in business to make money, not to hunt down tiny new creators and shadowban them. Anybody who believes differently isn’t paying attention.
What kind of common sense have you used to get to this conclusion? Who said they are hunting down tiny new creators? Are you all right in the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this head ? Ummm, companies are created to make money… They don’t spend millions of dollars and many years writing algorithms to shadowban a bunch of nobodies. They want money, and to get that money they have to show interesting videos to their customers. If they banned interesting videos all the time, they would lose money. I didn’t do any research to figure this out, I just used common sense. Companies want money. End of story. Your thinking is very simple and you have a very cartoonish view about the world. At the end of the day if that’s what you think that’s fine, but you didn’t have to write an entire post about it because what you did is literally by definition sht posting. Why? Because you didn’t bring any value or share any insight. You didn’t back your sht with any resources, you didn’t run tests and share the findings. You literally spoke out of your a**. You are trolling posts and talking crap to me about an obvious truth. Ok, you prove to me that YouTube doesn’t want to make money and they shadowban new creators. I’ll wait. Take your time. Do all the research you need. I’ll be here…
Dude you are the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this very definition of someone who talks out of their a**. Do you know what a shadow ban even means? It’s not Ufos I can assure you that. But why am I not shocked! You are in the US living in fk bubble. Why are you talking about UFOs? I said that YouTube wants to make money and they don’t shadowban new creators. You said I was full of sh*t. Prove me wrong. Show me some proof that YouTube doesn’t want to make money and they shadowban new creators. Or are you just trolling for an argument? I haven’t blocked you, I’m waiting for you to show me some proof of the crap you are saying. Let’s see it. I admitted that I did no research, I just assumed that they want to make money and shadowbanning new random creators doesn’t help them do that. Prove me wrong.
Dude you are taking out of you a** and assuming shit I didn’t even say? Where did I say they shadow ban new creators? Are you deranged? Do you even know what the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this fk is a shadow ban ? You are trolling my post. I didn’t start talking sht to you. I’m just asking a troll to back your sht talking up. Throw down 👇 some links to prove what you are saying. I’m still waiting… Some days, I feel my channel should be performing better than it is. Achieving monetization feels out of reach, with 10 million views on shorts seeming impossible for me. I seem to hit a ceiling at 2.4K views per short, even though I have a growing subscriber base, nearing 700, and I’ve only been at this for a month. I realize I might be rambling, but what I want to convey is that I enjoy creating my nature shorts and the daily learning process. Having fun with it is what truly matters.
Me too. Have you gone international yet? I like to also look at houses I can’t even slightly afford in Manhattan and Sydney. …… and now, with £11 in my bank account, I’m going to look and see if that £40m flat I had my eye on is still for sale. Like some kind of Kirsty Allsop specialist whose main area of expertise is in 20 million pound plus properties. If you’re the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this RyanMcartney I lived and worked with in Melbourne I just want to congratulate you on doubling your bank balance. Oh a different scale. I look at the cheapest houses. Through terrace that looks like a heroin squat that’s been in flames? For 30k? Yes please The rabbit hole I can’t quite climb out of at the moment are Super Yachts. Who doesn’t want a floating city, eh? Thanks! It’s the ultimate in excess. Even if I suddenly had a billion pounds, I’d Indulge in quite a few things, but I don’t think it would include a yacht or a plane. I loved looking at Sydney mansions when I was in single digits. I would tell my dad I was gonna buy one, and he always said that he hopes I do.
I’m on track to own my own house instead of renting by 25, and I’ve decided that’s close enough to rich for me. I’ve been looking at houses in Thailand and Vietnam this one is a similar price as the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this houses where my sister is… My wife and I watch those video tours on YouTube of mega mansions, New York penthouses etc and slag off their horrible design choices, it’s very cathartic. I had my eye on an old lighthouse that started at 1.25 million. I stayed there as a holiday let and if it went down to 550 I was going to go and have a look at making it work, living in the attached cottage and renting the big lighthouse (sleeping 10) out alongside my day job. Luckily I can work from anywhere now satellite internet is reliable and fast.
I’ve been guilty of walking down a nice street and then hop on Zoopla to see how much each house is worth as well as their layout inside. This could be productive to be honest. Whenever I walk down roads with nice houses that I’d love to live in, it motivates me to want to work harder. it’s not really pointless though is it? While we know the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this question itself is crap, it’s an invitation to the driver, a flag that says “I’m down to chat utter bollocks if you are”. Put a piece of fruit in my kids’ lunchboxes. At this point it’s just taking a daily trip out of the fruit bowl. Mine’s an apple that I’m travel training. One day it’ll be able to buy its own bus ticket and make independent journeys. Mines a bowl of bananas. If I don’t have a bowl of bananas decaying in the kitchen, I can’t stop craving bananas, if I do have them, I’d rather starve than eat a banana We used to have an emergency banana in the office. Never quite understood what sort of an emergency you’d use a banana in though. Anyway that stopped after we were asked to remove all the food off our desks because of a mouse infestation. I put the emergency banana in my top desk drawer, completely forgetting I was going on holiday for a fortnight. I’m still traumatised
I give my husband a fruit every day for work. We now have what we call ‘bag fruit’ which is all the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this fruit he leaves in his work bag, and when the fruit bowl runs out of things we discuss whether he’s got any bag fruit that is acceptable. Yeah we often take bananas on day trips to the zoo or wherever. When we get home they go back in the fruit bowl having had a thoroughly nice day out. Well, in a backpack at least. I’m currently writing guidance notes for processes at work that I know full well that nobody is ever going to read. Despite being unnecessary, I do this because, through efficiencies of experience, I don’t really have enough work to fill my time here and requests for extra work and responsibilities aren’t heeded.
In all reality, they don’t need me in this job. I could leave today and they could pretty much do what I do for them without any real extra effort. However, I’m now in my fifties and the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this appetite in the job market for an old man administrator with arthritis is very low. Also, any hint that I might leave sends them into a bit of a panic and I feel bad about it. So I sit here, every day, doing tedious, meaningless shit out of a combination of laziness, convenience and other people’s unfounded fear of the simple things they don’t understand. The only excitement in my working day now is the potential risk that chocolatey tea point biscuits might come with an office meltdown and a bollocking from HR.
You’re going to be an absolute legend if anybody does ever need that documentation though, even if it’s after you retire. I fear my tepid writings will only be looked long after they’re redundant. Some poor future anthropological scholar will study them with great intent only end their thesis in soul destroying disappointment. I wish a guy here who retired five years ago had done that. We still occasionally get things come up that only he knew how to do with, so have to spend a day or more figuring out what he did and how. I’m an “administrator”. I do things with Excel that scare ordinary people because they grew up learning that “maths is scary” and write wordy bullshit that sounds good on the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this surface but on closer examination is vague and non-committal.
Its all utter shit and people only think its “useful” because they once didn’t do something and a lot of other things went to fuck. I sometimes interpret other administrative wank back into normal human speak for my colleagues like I’m a learned anthropological historian. I’ve done this job long enough to be one of the Terry McLaurin Washington Commanders 4th Player In NFL History To Reach 969 Yards, 68 Catches Signature Poster shirt Besides,I will do this cunts I hated when I was young and still had hope. The ability to translate other’s bullshit into something the rest of us understand is a skill. If you aren’t already a Business Analyst working on technical projects, you should be. As a business analyst in my 50s I can only agree with you. Even if it’s not apparently vital today, within 10 years everyone associated with the work will have moved on.
