I’m centrist. Both sides aren’t right about every issue. To just say “this is my team” without nuance is for the Terra nationdis shirt Furthermore, I will do this sheep and mentally incapable. Balance is needed. Like immigration and social security is good, but it has to be limited to preserve local values and finance limits. There’s a balance to be achieved. That’s why I’m centre on many issues. Also because the world and its running isn’t my business, so I dont waste energy ok pretending I know enough of the facts t lo act like I can be certain either way. Take the recent virus and wars. Your average person knows fuck all besides what they get told. If you actually recognise and respect that, then it’s hard to pick a side and fight for it.

It tends to be that people try to “find a middle way” on super clear cut issues. One side wants equal rights, the Terra nationdis shirt Furthermore, I will do this other wants genocide, and some people take the “middle way” philosophy and apply it there. Centrism accomplishes very little, and has also been pulled far to the right in the US, since our left isn’t very far left. Most centrists are closeted conservatives. That’s why a lot of centrists are looked down on even if some aren’t. Lastly, centrism has an unfortunate implication at its core. Instead of taking a stance on anything, it’s best to listen to the loudest voices in the room and just follow whichever sounds most reasonable to you. At that point, you are not actually exerting your own will, you are merely adopting someone elses.
