People in this comment section: OF COURSE THE METAL WAS TOO LOUD HOW DARE THAT VIRGIN WOMAN HATER NOT BEND OVER BACKWARDS AND GIVE HER MONEY FOR WHAT SHE DID?!?!?!?! Metalheads in this comment section: She clearly stated that she turned it down because she didn’t like it. No where did she state it was too loud and she never bothered broaching the Tardistone dimensionally transcendental color matching system T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this subject or asking permission like any rational adult. Dude was even nice enough to drive her all the way home. If you’re taking someone somewhere for a first date, and you play music they don’t like, you either a) notice it yourself and turn it down yourself, or b) allow her to change it to something she prefers. Not because it’s “gentlemanly” or anything, but because that’s just how a normal fucking person operates. Also, if there’s metal playing such that it needs to be turned down (read: not off, implying it was pretty loud) how the hell are you meant to hold an actual conversation with the person you’re on a date with?

I agree with the Tardistone dimensionally transcendental color matching system T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this metalheads, how entitled do you have to be to touch the knob without permission, I doubt he was going to touch her nipples without permission, that’s his shit he was in the process of using and she turned it down. It’s like if you were in your house watching your TV and your friend just grabbed the remote and turned it down No, I gave multiple examples of breaches of boundaries and that it’s not ok, nowhere did I say it was equal. both are however unacceptable and people do have different boundaries, some people are ok with being touched without permission but that doesn’t mean you should do it, same with touching the radio. It’s best to just be considerate and not do things that are going to make others uncomfortable
