One could attribute this to DMT release when near death but what is fascinating about it is that so many different people throughout the world have experienced similar or the same things without ever having talked to each other I don’t think it’s about accepting death, it’s about accepting that there’s only so much you can do to control when it happens and understanding that a lot of our fear of death comes from not knowing what happens next. It could be worse but it could be better, it could be nothing, no one knows. Uncertainty is scary. If you’re scared of death then it means your life has enough going for it that you’re scared to lose what you have which is a beatiful thought on it’s own.
