This. And people who speed, if you’re getting annoyed at a truck or bus or RV not going as fast as you want them to? Think about how much bigger they are than a car. They take longer to stop. A lot longer in many cases. Safe speed for a vehicle like that is going to be lower than for a car in the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this same conditions. It just is. Was driving on the M6 one day when two BMW went past us weaving in and out of traffic must have been doing close to over 100mph. Twenty mins after they passed us we hit traffic and had to slow right down. Ten minutes after that we passed the BMWs that had been speeding both where on their roofs the owners standing by their ruined cars with shame faces as every one else went past calling them wankers. When I was 19-21 I used to be that guy. Thing is me and my buddies would be racing to destinations as a competition. Keep in mind though we all had 300-600hp cars. We took pride in our driving abilities and our cars.
Swirly Cat Shirt, hoodie, hoodie and long sleeve tee
Over time you realize what you risk losing is not worth what you will gain in that life. Part of the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this reason I have no contact with any of those guys anymore. I’m 61 years old.. I have lived in multiple cities.. there has been a steady increase in assholistic behavior over the years. Anecdotally, I used to be a videographer, working for the CBS affiliate in Honolulu.. I lost count of the accidents I covered. One in particular, stands out to me: 5 teenagers flipped a car on Kalanianaole highway. Taking out a wall in front of a residence. As I approached the scene, there was one kid that was on a gurney.. he was drenched in blood.. I thought that was the worst of it. The car was upside down.. And inside was a girl that looked like she was bent over backwards. I don’t mean slightly, either. I mean like folded in half.. And crammed under the dash. I don’t remember how fast they were going.. but I was told by the attending officers.. that they were racing. Does it matter? No.. All that matters is.. they were assholes. I did that when I was younger. Wasn’t super concerned with the speed limits, and loved driving fast just felt fun. Countless tickets and a suspended license later, along with maturing and learning about the whole action consequences thing, I chilled tf out. I’m still a relatively ‘aggressive’ driver, but don’t go more than 15 over (the norm in NY tristate) The impatience with slow cars and the thrill of getting to the destination quicker than the navigation eta says never went away, just less stupid about it lol but yea weaving, maneuvering, figuring out the best lane to switch to when things start slowing down, it’s almost like I’m in a video game or something I dono lol
70 in a 65 lol. Pretty much everyone where I live drives at a minimum of 80 on a 65 highway. That’s just how it goes Honestly I live in an area that isn’t too far from a crime ridden area. At least here, most of the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this people doing this are doing it in stolen cars because they’re already on a thrill of crime, because they have zero ability to wait because it’s all about them, or they are super intoxicated and shouldn’t be driving. I accidentally went like 60 in a school zone. Unfamiliar area, also just had my first patient die on me and went to an ex for comfort and that ended up going south. A crossing guard whistled aggressively at me and I slowed down, crying and apologizing. Having known guys I later found out to be psychotic speeders I can tell you many of them are actually boring broken weak cowardly people in real life. The car gives them power they would not otherwise have, so they abuse it to make themselves feel better about their shitty work lives or personal lives.

Where to buy this Swirly Cat Shirt
i had to explain to a friend once that the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this left lane is for passing and is not “the fast lane” (i.e. fast cars stay in the fast lane, slow cars stay in the slow lane). i hated being her passenger I don’t weave but if it’s open I’m usually just cruising, most times I don’t notice. I’m paying attention to the road not what my speedo says. Occasionally I’ll look down and see triple digits and slow it back down. They are probably not on Reddit. Most of the people who speed on the highway by me have cars that reek of weed, temp plates, and get on/off at exits in bad parts of town. I have a really bad back and driving hurts. When I’ve done it (and I’m ashamed of it) I get in my own head about the pain and want to get to where I’m going. I don’t weave a lot but I will drive fast and if you sit in left lane forever not passing I may put my hands in air and shake my head like “wtf? it’s the passing lane!”. I don’t tailgate and I don’t flip you off but my heart rate quickens and it does make me mad.
Most days I’m fine. I have music on and I chill but every once in a while when I’ve been dealing with a lot of pain and I’m far from my destination I lose my patience. I feel dumb about it afterwards and do it less frequently all the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this time. Most everyone says I’m a good driver but every once in a while…im sorry if I was behind you. Generally I’d say it’s people in pain. Mine is physical. I think emotional does the same thing. You get self absorbed because the pain is all you can feel in that moment so somehow it feels justified. I know it’s not. One thing that helps me for those of you trying to stop driving aggressively is I try to not get upset at the person because honestly it’s remarkable how high a percentage of people are courteous and good drivers. I mean I sit in a traffic jam with 100 people letting each other in, waving, being generally good humans. Why do I let the 2% that are oblivious ruin my day? Did i really think I wasn’t going to encounter any stupid people today? Get over it, buttercup. Some people are dicks! I’ve got a hip that flares up and makes long drives (especially in a manual) and absolute slog. Sitting in traffic is miserable and I have noticed that when it gets bad enough I drive more quickly so I can get to where I’m going and get out of the car to stretch.
If I’m going ~25 over the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this speed limit and weaving between cars it is because I am seeing very unsafe behavior from other drivers and want to get far the fuck away before someone kills me. I’ve never been in an accident of any kind in my life, not even a near miss by my doing. I’ve had lots of close calls that involve me performing a maneuver to avoid someone being an absolute brainless driver. (when i’m going with speed of traffic lol) In my day to day life, when people aren’t drunk/road raging around me, I go with the speed of traffic or 5-10 over it. It feels great sailing by you slow, dangerous drivers. I love seeing your flustered faces in the rear view mirror. Look, I rarely weave in and out of cars and I don’t cut people off etc, but when I’m on the highway and want to get where I’m going I can’t stand when people 1) don’t drive in the right lane 2) don’t get over into the right lane and 3) block all lanes going under the speed limit.
I was young and immature, I had a need for speed! The adrenaline was amazing. I used to fly down the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this highway at 95 mph it was insane and I loved the rush! I’ve been a speeder my entire life. Literally my driving instructor yelled at 16 yr old me for speeding and driving with one hand on the interstate. He informed my mom that I was going to be a problem. He was right. It was the thrill I’ll be honest maneuvering through traffic. Fastest I’ve gone is 110mph. It became addictive to get that thrill over and over. Just like any addiction I was feeding the monster. Should I be dead? Yeah because I was a stupid and selfish driver. I was a menace. By the time I left my home state my driving record was wrecked. License suspended. Judge in VA beach told me if I showed up in her courtroom she was revoking my license and giving me 30 days in jail. No one would insure me. Took a habitual offenders class. I sobered up.
In my old age of 49 I still speed (I live outside of DC) but the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this reckless part is a no go. I’ve got too much to lose and decent car insurance rates. A year ago I bought the fastest car I’ve ever owned and if I’d been driving it 25 yrs ago I wouldn’t be here to tell this story. My morning commute is early with relatively sparse traffic. I’m on 55mph roads for about 10 min then a 65mph highway for another 20 min. I’m usually going 65mph in the 55mph zone with people tailgating me and weaving around trying to pass. It’s stupid because the highway is relatively crowded. However, when it opens up to 65mph, it’s 3-4 lanes. I usually accelerate up to about 90mph at half throttle or so. The same people who were weaving around tail gating me are usually keeping up. They’ll usually try to eek up to 95ish to try and pass. That’s when I usually bury the throttle up to about 120-130. They’ll usually hang on until about 110. The rest of the commute is going around people who camp in the left lane at 80-90ish and refuse to move. Why do I do it? I really don’t know all the reasons but I do enjoy the rush. I also believe in committing to something 110%. So if you’re gonna speed, speed. Don’t pussy foot around.
What is my life like? Somewhat normal. I have a good job (design medical devices for cancer treatment), good family, make good money (~400k/yr), relatively well educated, normal (lower class) upbringing. But I’m also relatively risk adverse actually. I do quite a few somewhat risky things, snowboard in the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this woods, rock climb, etc. But I always take every measure I can to be safe. Check my tires for pressure and debris often. Validate my braking distances frequently for different temperatures and conditions. I run a radar detector mounted up high, laser jammer, and Waze. A: Ignorance. They’re stupid. They can not conceive how society works. How we all wake up and sign an unspoken agreement to follow the rules so we can all proceed doing the things that make us human. And as such, sicc car go fass for IG bruhh or whatever.
i think stupidity is kind of an umbrella concept that obscures a lot more complex stuff happening underneath. it is great shorthand, especially bc i don’t think we owe it to these people to extend a great deal of empathy lmao, but i just think there’s more to it which is why i am asking what their lives are like. normally my go-to assumption on the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this road is that people who do this are struggling w/ a sense of purposelessness and numbness so they don’t value their own lives + they need to be doing insane shit in order to feel anything at all. but i do agree that some are straight up just like, antisocial types who do not care at all, feel entitled to any behavior that works for them. There’s this one road where everyone goes 90+ on even though the speed limit is 65 so you gotta keep up or die of being rear ended and it. Is. Terrifying.
Anyone who replied with “I don’t swerve in a dangerous way” or “if the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this freeway is clear” CLEARLY doesn’t know what the word ACCIDENT mean. Roads and cars and freak events are unpredictable, doesn’t matter how “safe” you think you are being. If you don’t care for your own life that’s your problem, just put some thought into the fact that drivers who cause accidents tend to survive fatal accidents and live a miserable life of guilt cause they killed children or a pregnant person or somebodies dad. Look up pictures of car crashes to see the ticking time bomb that you are. Those lives are on YOU and your lack of responsibility. This is coming from someone who almost died because a 19 year old cunt “accidentally” sped through a red light and crashed right into me. And who’s boyfriend lost his 21 year old sister thanks to a speeding asshole. Typically I’m only driving slightly faster than everyone else, but occasionally I do burn rubber. When I’m doing this I am 110% focused. All of the near collisions I’ve ever had while driving happen when I’m driving slow and get distracted. I’m safest during these short bursts. And it’s super fun. But I now hate cars
Regular highway speeds here are 85-90mph. This isn’t the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this 1900s anymore. Cars are fully capable of going those speeds safely. Not the weaving in and out of traffic but everyone going 80 mph is much safer than some people doing 65mph while others are doing 80. And yet everyone going approximately the posted speed limit is safer than everyone going well over the posted speed limit It’s fun to drive fast and use the whole speedometer. Good old Italian tune up! The whole weaving in and out of cars is ridiculous though that’s just dangerous. When and if I do it I do it late at night on days no one will be on the highway. You know there are specific places where you can legally, and safely, drive fast, right? There’s absolutely no need to do it while putting other people’s lives at risk.
i’m curious more about people who it regularly. you’re right tho, there are some exceptional circumstances that most people would speed for. My life was pretty great. That was back in school. Then my frontal lobes developed, and I started driving at a reasonable 85, or the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this speed of the guy in front of me. People like these are the reason why can’t have the autobahn. It is just dumb and doesn’t help the flow of traffic. Ok, before anyone comes for me, I don’t do it anymore. I get it. I haven’t done it for more than 20 years. I just want to talk about the mindset while it’s going on, and answer OP’s question. At the time though, it didn’t seem like a big risk. I’m not going to crash. I see you, I see what you might do, I see what you’re probably going to do, and I’ve accounted for that and I won’t crash. It’s illusory to a degree, but the people who do this have a vision of control. It doesn’t feel dangerous, and it’s not just because of stupidity or ignorance. I now understand how scary it must have been for the people I blew by, but at the same time it was nowhere near as uncontrolled as they imagined. I considered and accounted for what each car I passed might do before I got there, and how they might react to someone blowing by them, and chose my course accordingly. For what I got out of it? Same as any kind of racing, or any risky sport. The thrill of a skill done well in the face of danger that you feel you can manage. I frequently speed on highways. 30-40% over the limit depending on conditions. I don’t speed in the rain. Cold roads. Heavy traffic. Etc.
I don’t speed in rural areas. I don’t weave around traffic. I’m always in the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this left lane. I’ll slow down and flash my lights so the person infront of me can pull into the right lane (spend here’s left lane is for passing only but people don’t care) then I speed up again. It is legal here to pass on the right but I’ll only do that if the person in front of me doesn’t pull aside. As for why? I like the feel of the speed. The sound of the engine. Controling 3600lbs of steel and 400+hp. Or sometimes 400lbs of steel and 150+hp. Mostly I like being able to accelerate quickly to pass and merge though. I have not seen any accidents in my rearview mirror but I do see those that speed in and out of traffic. Tailgating to get people to move. Getting frustrated because they can’t pass. Pacing cars to not let them merge, especially in front of them. Brake checking people they feel don’t know how to drive. Trying to egg people on into racing. Answers are 99% people who do not actually do said question. I do. For a lot of reasons. That extremely real feeling of adrenaline. I love driving so I milk every ounce of joy out of it. I’d say I know what I’m doing, and it feels great. I love punking regular ass people doing the speed limit acting all high and mighty. God speed.
I have several places to be in a day with short gaps between appointments do I do average probably 20-30MPH over the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this posted speed. It’s a lot of looking ahead, having NAV open for hazard warnings, and driving 10 & 2
Maybe tell you cousin break anymore of my stuff and I’ll knock your fucking teeth down your throat with one hand while the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this other makes sure you choke on them. WTF is wrong w your cousin…and all these unruly undisciplined kids who do this shit? I hope there have been consequences. Everyone babies kids these days and it just makes for uncontrollable violent kids in classrooms, where the parents DGAF and actually defend their kids. Your cousin owes you money!! Definitely can’t be trusted. he Shouldn’t be allowed back in the house. And I would file charges on his a** too. Can’t let people like that in your home and that’s bullshit Regardless of family. It’s a good idea to lay down your PS5, dude. Buying a TV is one thing but having to replace both would be a kick in the teeth.
So you didn’t make your cousin repay you for that lmao. I was drunk one time and speard my friends TV and the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this next morning both of us where at the store choosing out a new TV. On my end it was an honest mistake and I lost my balance getting out of a chair too, hope they replaced it and you can return it. This is a rare type of mushi that likes to live in television screens and eat the electronic signals sent into it. It’s quite the pesky critter… Sell it to a modern art gallery in Soho, title it “ProbabiliI could never understand the idiots who drive like that. I have a corvette and have only driven it “fast” maybe 2 or 3 times and each of those times were on a lone stretch of highway in the country
I never weaved but I used to drive fast. I got a heart rate monitor and realized I was getting too amped while doing so, and cut it out. Now I only drive 10 above, middle lane. Well their credit scores must be sub 300 or they might not even have credit to begin with. Most likely unemployed as well I have several places to be in a day with short gaps between appointments do I do average probably 20-30MPH over the Swirly Cat Shirt in addition I really love this posted speed. It’s a lot of looking ahead, having NAV open for hazard warnings, and driving 10 & 2 Me and friends used to switch up who drives to the city for drug runs. Our favorite game was… hold the gas pedal down the entire time, no matter traffic. 120 mph the whole time, lots of shoulder, lost both mirrors, weaving thru with inches to spare.
