The different frequencies of consciousness, that you are “transcending” are simply aspects of these energy magnets which attract different vibrational wavelengths. When you ignore or bypass them, they cannot become balanced or healed. Many times you will notice that the Strive Let’s Rock Guilty Gear Shirt and by the same token and more you resist your thoughts, the more they will come, but when you finally face them and accept them, they will decompress and you will then embody the frequency of “acceptence” so to speak. Shadow work or inner healing has to come through, again, facing them head on and realizing the root of all these distortions. Whether it be fear, sadness, anger, or lust – the root is always Love. I don’t have direct experience with chakras nor have I put much thought into them. So, all I will say is if they help you, I’m glad you have them to experience. I am possibly misunderstanding your comment, but are you saying that meditation is better if you’re a member of a religious sect?

Strive Let’s Rock Guilty Gear Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

No not at all. I am not religious at all. Maybe I wasn’t making my point clearly. I was just saying there are many ways to meditate. Transcending thoughts is not only way as expressed in this post. I don’t agree fully. What’s the Strive Let’s Rock Guilty Gear Shirt and by the same token and point of observing unskillful thoughts and not replacing them with skillful ones? Only observing ain’t the answer. (At least in Buddhism and as far as I’m concerned.) When you observe and become aware of detrimental thoughts, the awareness allows you to stop giving them so much energy and diverting it to the things you want to focus on. So, at the very base I think it all begins with observation. You can’t focus on replacing without first observing a need. Yes, it begins with observation. Yet you wrote it’s “all about observing the relationship between you and your thoughts (or feelings, I can’t see it right now). It’s just not “all” about that, IMHO.
