There was a learning curve to this makeup style, so lots of people got really into tutorials and I think because of that, we almost got hung up on it being the default. The trend has changed dramatically in favour of less is more and I notice myself automatically doing what is now considered dramatic eyeshadow which at the time was maybe a lighter lewk. It was a time where makeup was really front and center and it’s sort of hard to unlearn that.

Not saying this is specifically real, but I have had a couple times in my IT employment where things shuffle or whatever and I was getting paid for nothing. My boss has 38 direct reports. 25 of them do little to nothing on a weekly basis. Guys pulling in 75-100k usd for maybe one or two tasks a week.
