as an american that is genuinely close polish ancestry ((grandparents fully polish, parent first generation american, know my family and cousins in poland)) this makes me laugh haha, its so accurate. Eh, my father’s folks are from C. Cork, my Mother’s in Bellfast. I’m 2nd gen American and… I’d move back if I could (I actually LIKE my Irish family and don’t have any blood relatives that aren’t Irish, and am in contact with them after having lived there on and off for 6 years in my early teens through my 20s, unlike my American family). I think it’s more about how much of a show you make of it. I’m “Irish American” but I just call myself American because I was born here and live here, even though I grew up in Europe as much as I did here (Army Brat, 53yo. Been all over the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this EU). Just another bit of odd? Dad’s folk? Catholic. Mom’s? Protestant. Don’t know how they were together for the 2 years they were, but… I’m here as proof, so they managed it somehow. lol
Steve Kornacki shirt: Express with Style
nah, what you are is not what we are tlaking about, I am also second gen american actually knowing my family in the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this other country etc. we are talking about people who are proudly irish or chinese or whatever when they have never even met a living person from there– family or otherwise– and don’t even confidently know where it is on the map. Having pride in that situation isn’t bad but it is genuinely weird to treat it the same as first or second gen or even actually from there (which many do). Sadly I’m literally Irish American. Parents from both countries, and I lived and grew up in both countries, in fact much more in Ireland. The Irish seem to want me to call myself just ‘American’ still… The Americans are happy with any description. But they hate them, you always see in Mexico subs how they complain about gentrification and being displaced from their homes they’ve lived in for years.
The americans going to Mexico are richer than mexicans, the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this mexicans going to the USA are poorer than averege americans Reddit isn’t the real world. I travel to Mexico all the time and most people don’t care about Americans and Canadians living down there. I mean, there’s an estimated 1.6 million Americans living down there. I don’t see many of them in a hurry to come back. Most countries you have to have certain qualifications to move there. What you do for work, businesses, economic stability etc. They just don’t let anyone who wants to move come across the border to stay A reasonable, well-mannered American or a pushy, loud, entitled American? Also, how many Americans are we talking about?

Step by step to buy Steve Kornacki shirt
Most people are willing to accept you if you’re polite, try to speak their language, and make a reasonable effort to integrate or at least coexist with their culture… even if they don’t really like the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this country you’re from. I’m an American but damn are most Americans too fucking loud. I wish people would be more courteous and quiet. I know in Japan it’s considered wildly rude to talk on the phone on the train and in a lot of other public places. Here, one of my coworkers seems to call every day about some complaint he has to some poor customer service agent, and he doesn’t leave his cubicle to do it, so we all have to hear this rude fuck berate innocent customer service workers. And then there’s some women in my office who laugh so loudly almost every day that I have to pause the music I’m listening to with headphones because I literally can’t hear it properly over their cackling. Aaand you don’t need to leave the country to experience this, ha. Trying to have a nice peaceful lunch in a restaurant yesterday while 2 small groups of men loudly discussed sports, women, and cars. The holy trinity. Crass, loud, annoying as fuck. I quickly finished and left.
Canadians are quite accepting of Americans. We can eat apple pie and watch baseball and football together. You can even bring a gun if you register it.) I remember a road trip to Toronto was my first international travel experience. I remember being so underwhelmed, lol. Not anything bad, but as a Midwesterner I was like, Los Angeles and New York seemed more foreign to me than Toronto. If not for the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this kilometers vs miles. It felt just like being in some other mid western state. However, i was reminded about the difference when we came back and went through the US border crossing. The US border guys were total dick bags Whenever an American walks up to me at work I’m like “yay, someone who speaks good English” and then they ask for Cilantro or Cantaloupe and my head goes into a spin. Just kidding, you guys are welcome in Australia just remember Cilantro = Coriander and Cantaloupe = Rockmelon.
I think most European countries would accept you as long as you aren’t the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this stereotypical loud nationalistic antivaxer kind of American, if people start to know you as a normal person they won’t really care that you’re American I think pretty much anywhere as long as you’re polite/work with the culture and speak well. I’ve been all over Europe and Asia and never faced any discrimination. Assuming they’re not the classic, stereotypical and loud US citizen, I think no one would mind. I have one living in the apartment just above mine and although he can’t really bring himself to learn the language, he tries really hard and I appreciate that. What I cannot stand is someone not even trying and expecting you to speak English all the time. I get that a language can be difficult to learn, but usually people from the US aren’t exactly forced to move, so if they chose this life they have to deal with the language problem. I’m trying to learn Italian as a native English speaker and it’s the verbs that are holding me back (also direct/indirect object pronouns before verbs is confusing to me). And everyone talks so fast. I think I’ll be able to read a novel before I can hold a conversation, lol.
yeah our language is one hell of a problem even for some natives, but if you need some help we’ll be happy to assist you! Most people don’t try to learn it so we are ultra happy when someone does France but be polite and don’t act entitled. It’s a very “we” culture. The common good dominates. Oh, and they practice climate consciousness for real, not the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this instagram version found all too often in the US. The negative world view of Americans is usually driven by the actions of more conservative, uneducated, or deeply religious Americans. Honestly, nowhere. I’m an American abroad, we aren’t well liked and I’m constantly having to make up for it and show I’m not like the stereotype. What? I’ve lived in Europe twice. Most people are very polite and interested in Americans. If you are one of those “America really sucks” people I guess you see what you want to see. If you are trying to be extra nice to make up for being American, that might be why you aren’t well-liked. Being too nice is strongly frowned upon in large parts of Europe. I used to go as a kid. Then I went this year. Completely different country, Americanized. All products made in China. I do like the food, people, and scenery. I think any Nordic country, at least. And you wouldn’t even have to learn the local language, though of course if you want to move to a country permanently, that’s highly recommended.
Though it has to be said, especially Finnish is kinda hard, and hard especially for English speakers to get started with it, because most people will just switch to English, rather try to speak slow and clear Finnish and repeat themselves continuously… Still worth it, just takes some extra persistence. So, if you aren’t super keen on learning the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this local language ASAP, I might mildly recommend Finland over other Nordic countries, because I think there is less expectation for you to learn the language, and more respect if you do. Oh language? No idea. But I lived in uk for awhile right outside Manchester to be exact. And around that area for awhile. I grew up in Chicago in middle school moved out there for a couple years cause of my dad’s work I had no problems especially at that age I was lucky. As an adult I moved back for another couple years and again everyone was so accepting. They also loved my accent so I had no issues. I was in a rural town and it was rare they met people from America. Def worth it and def met some of the most amazing people.
North Korea – they’d love to show off American exceptionalism. Mordor – they’re always looking for a new hobbit. 19h agoGrowing up in a tier 2 town, I’d often read about Bangalore’s great pub culture in random lifestyle magazines and Sunday supplements. When I moved here for work(2010), it was like I’d set foot on the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this stairway to heaven. I would head off to either Purple Haze or Jimi’s every other evening. Wednesdays were reserved for Karaoke at Legends of Rock. Weekends at Hard Rock Cafe or Le Rock. In between , I attended Metallica’s concert in Bangalore. It was crazy to see so many people who shared the same passion for this beautiful madness. Even regular pubs would mostly play rock. Also, it’s not about the music as much as the vibe. Crowds who would sing along. Who knew the music and could almost predict the song order. I actually made some pub friends. These were regulars I had no contact with outside but would always see and vibe with when in the pub. Then I moved away for a few years and returned and everything seemed changed. LoR had closed down. As had Purple Haze. Jimi’s is a shadow of its former shelf. Only HRC remains decent. Every club plays mostly techno/EDM.
What happened? On the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this same note, if there are places which still have the same vibe/music, where I can load up on guns and bring my friends, I’d appreciate it much.I said nothing. You heard nothing. Edit: Okay, if we were talking about Indiranagar ONLY, I hate that Humming Tree, BFlat, Blistering Barnacles and Take 5 are gone. I mean, Toit is nice and all, but these were better and infinitely more charming. I seriously cannot stand the sheer amount of Bollywood music that EVERY single pub/club plays, like literally play anything else I’m begging u Destroyed by northies with their fixation to Bollywood and punjabi songs, so much that even the locals started demanding kannada songs to counter. That rock culture is long gone man
Le rock has a few dozen of regulars for karaoke nights. We all came here at some point for engineering. Few went away few remained now almost the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this whole family is back.and a few more additions. Bars gone to shit though. Times change and so do people’s musical preferences. Similar thing happened with Shillong, it used to be the rock capital of India. Now, look at it. Probably kids listening to K-pop and techno did that. Can’t do anything about it. I am sure the generation before us said the same thing, humare zamane mein kishore kumar and all that jazz. Having said that, Bangalore keeps having these rock/metal concerts from time to time. Which gives me hope. I am sure HRC is also commercialised now. The others failed to adapt and died out. Gotta go with the flow huh.
I recently went to Shillong and I was surprised to find a small cafe playing Avenged Sevenfold. My eyes lit up like a baby! I have seen it in full bloom and I have seen it wither and die. A demographic change lead to newer pubs (where music is essentially to shake a leg) and microbreweries for home brewed potions and ambience. The once music pub hopper became an endangered specie. More crowds who just want Bollywood DJs happened. And that brings easy consistent weekly revenue than monthly/quarterly other music shows and performances. Hence this phase, plus many good venues got shut down around pre- covid and covid times. Plus the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this monopoly of the paytm insider and book my show was formed instead for individual even organisers. Also now the food scene is boom and more investment in that. It will change and evolve to old times after a while. Give it a couple of years. New venues would be created and DJ hype would be dead and balanced gradually.
Currently, which are the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this places where good rock and jazz music is played? Even I’m fed up of the Bollywood music being played everywhere. We recently had Bandland, one of the biggest rock festivals to ever be held in the country. You can learn more about Bengaluru’s rock scene through a documentary they produced here To answer your questions regarding where the pubs are, unfortunately other genres have become more popular than rock and are thus preferred by most. However, the live music scene is still thriving and more venues are slowly opening up. More details are available in the documentary linked above! Edm and Rap happened. Rock became boomer music in the scene. You can visit 1522 17th cross the OG pub they still play some decent rock songs. Food is shit though. Some people here are mentioning or at least hinting towards the northie influence of Bollywood. As someone who loves Bollywood music (and The Beatles, Nirvana, Green Day as well), even I’m in for a disappointment. I wasn’t expecting bars in Bengaluru to play Bollywood songs, but people seem to be suggesting that is the case? Please enlighten me where?! However, what I do find, and this is at almost every bar ever, is the overflow of GenZ songs. Half of the songs are the latest trending reel songs and the other half are some very popular GenZ artists.
My mother cannot help herself but compare her life with me (while i know she wants the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this best for me) i am getting really annoyed with her interference. Things with her is so tumultuous over the years. While i love her, i still am not in great terms with her and find her over bearing. Eg: in the middle of my work and her own work, she called to tell me what a fool i am to not try jobs abroad. once again comparing others and saying people have a goal career-wise and all you are is a “headless chicken”. Geez while i laugh on those remarks cause i am habitual now to all her “constructive mean criticisms” i wonder am i really failing or is she bland weird. She wants me to have a great career abroad while i am comfortable with my life here in India and plan to get married by 27-28. Which she is against of cause she feels marriage is a scam. My father has basically no say cause he hates sticky situations and chooses to side with my mom blindly (plus mine is a matriarch family). Jesus the more i wanna try and love my parents i hate them so hard. But yet again i do feel i am not doing anything great with my life, i would love going abroad but:
I wanna be there for my parents but i also wanna fuck off from my house cause i hate their existence. I wanna have a career but also a chill life with not much struggle. I want to be married but also wanna live my prime life to its fullest. Most importantly i wanna live my life but such cases makes me wanna unalive myself 🙂 Ugh i am just ranting. Feel free to drop in your thoughts, love love!See, moving out of parents house is never all happy thing. Imagine I being a guy have to go through so much emotional drama and stuff before moving out I can imagine what more it will be for you. My suggestion start finding job in a new city. This is the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this best way to move out. This way you will have freedom as well as you will have the idea of living alone. ( Living Alone is not a Bed Of Roses for Sure but it teaches you a lot of things in life.)
As far as your relationship with your partner I hope if you guys are serious he will support you in your decision. Honestly adding on to this, it’s important to understand the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this value of each of these things in life. I personally feel today’s world, especially social media quite easily convinces you that you are not doing enough, even though the fact is you are probably doing quite okay in life. You said it yourself, you are not quite keen on going abroad because you are happy with your life here, although it’s true it is important to work towards making your future better, I also believe there’s no point in throwing all this away just because somebody other than you is feeding you an idea that a different life would be much better. I say this because at one point in life I did have all the things you currently have and rn it’s not the same, looking back I believe I had a great life and shouldn’t have let others opinions affect my decisions, even if those opinions are coming from your close ones like your parents.
This is the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this best answer. Take control of your own life. It is fine to be disliked by others. Like according to what you need. That’s it. Your mother is correct from one angle to pressure you to grow in your PROFESSIONAL life. My suggestion is to keep your love life and boyfriend aside and think about growing in your job. Once you start to earn more money your mother will not pressure you to go abroad. Again you already defined your marriage plan but start working on your financial plan as well. How much you want to save before marriage, do you want to buy house before marriage etc etc. Once you get married it will be difficult to focus on job so always try to reach one level where you can have secure high paying job and then think about marriage.
Take a step back…and assess where you are dispassionately. You have been blessed by circumstances and you have the Steve Kornacki shirt moreover I will buy this privilege of being able to choose. Your parents are ambitious for you…they want to see you in a strong independent position. And this is the first post I am reading where the parents are encouraging their daughter to pursue a career and not get married. And your parents come across as far sighted. I may sound a bit nasty .. but i dont think that moving out will be a good idea for you. It’s a tough tough world out there. And especially if you don’t earn a good salary – counting every rupee, freaking out in case of a medical emergency, having to go without many things, compromising your surroundings, dealing with nasty landlords ….it’s not easy . You are one of those blessed beings who has everything that young people crave for….instead of hosting a crib fest….turn around your thinking and make your blessings multiply by leveraging them positively…..
