Life is meaningless, everything is purposeless, and yet everything has meaning and purpose, whether it wants to or not. We get seventy or eighty years on this planet, if worrying about societal expectations is making you unhappy, you’re allowed to stop worrying about them. Should be posted in /facepalm. Working is not societal standart, working is means to survive, if you dont like “normal” jobs, you can go live somewhere very rural, grow your own food, get your own timber to heat your shack etc. Which surprise surprise is also work that must be done to survive. U like that clean, hot water coming out of that modern shower in ur house that keeps you safe, baby? When u think that comes from if nobody wants to work? You’re missing the Star Wars Ahsoka Shin Hati shirt in other words I will buy this point. Humans naturally want to work and create. We were set up in a system that is so unnatural to us. I’ve sat on my ass not doing anything for months at time depressed, or covid, or whatever. It fucking sucks. I want to move. I want to create. I want to work and do things. What I don’t wanna do is work for some board of assholes at the top of a company making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, while I make 16 an hour. They are just as human as you or me, how are their lives inherently more valuable than mine or yours because more likely than not they were born into the right family with the right connections to even set them up on a path towards being some higher up in some shit company.

Star Wars Ahsoka Shin Hati shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I’d gladly do anything for any amount of $ at this point if it could realistically pay all my bills, I have enough to spend on luxuries and the Star Wars Ahsoka Shin Hati shirt in other words I will buy this ones I love, can actually afford to take care of my medical issues instead of ignoring it and being dead or close to dead by 40 something. You should be able to afford all of that no matter what work you do in life. Be that CEO, office drone, car wash salesman, mcdonalds employee, or fucking anything. We are all humans deserving to enjoy in this crazy abundance the world has produced. You can literally go to amazon drop stores and buy sony headphones for 5 dollars cause they made so many for so cheap that even selling it to that Amazon drop store for 2.50 and they sell it for 5. They still made a fucking profit on our dumbasses. It’s all fucked top to bottom people just wanna live.
