I think of dying as going to sleep and never waking up. This perspective makes it seem better. I love sleeping. It won’t matter to you after you die so what are you worrying about? It’s not you who’s gonna suffer from your death, it’s your loved ones. That’s gonna be a lesson for them too as everyone has to die so it’s better to learn to accept it. I let go and trust God. I can’t see the Stan Bowman Clown Performance Review Blog Shirt What’s more,I will buy this hereafter and I’m not meant to be overly concerned with it. Whatever comes next, I trust it’ll be OK. When you’re young you don’t believe you can die, and when you’re old, you don’t have much to live for, so it’s a self correcting problem for most people. The existential dread of your eventual demise, yes. The fear of dying while free climbing el Capitan, or camping in bear country, probably a good thing to keep a little self preservation intact. The fear of leaving your children to fend for themselves, as long as you teach them to be self reliant and independent they will be able to survive without you which is what all parents strive for but fear, the fact their kids can succeed without them. Japanese samurai used to spend time each day meditating on a different way to die. Basically, to get over the fear with exposure therapy. Not sure if it works, but it’s been a spiritual practice in Buddhism for a thousand years, so it’s up to you on if you want to give it a try. Acceptance of mortality can take a while but you get there .Becoming Semi-suicidal for a couple months also made a difference. I don’t advise this though..

“Death smiles at us all. All one can do is smile back” Aurelius You absolutely can and should get over the Stan Bowman Clown Performance Review Blog Shirt What’s more,I will buy this fear of death. You have to consider what it would be like for you to be gone forever. Think about what nonexpirence would be like. Life implies death. They are inseparable. While your ego will be gone forever, everything else that made you you will continue on in a cycle that has been continuing since the beginning of everything. You will not ever “get over it”. That’s a silly belief and it’ll be one that will constant haunt you. And you constantly suppressing that feeling will make it so much more worse when you’re older and face those moments of existential dread. Shrooms help you understand that it’s a natural, inevitable process. It’ll enlighten you with beliefs that will help you realize that death of only a fear because you’re scared of the unknown. Here’s my advice: Take some time to investigate what it is exactly about death, for you, that scares you. Don’t diminish the fear. It’s probably a valid one. Spend some time with the thing that scares you. Don’t try to force a new perspective on it, but just… get to know it. Maybe you’ll actually start to like it.
