Got rejected in Busan more times (from restaurants) than my 5 years in Japan. I don’t remember being rejected at all despite being a raw gaijin at the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but beginning Lots of Russian travelers in Busan that have caused a ton of pain for hotels/bars/etc… much more hostile to white travelers due to that It’s basically the same thing the article is saying. They just have a blanket statement of no foreigners so they don’t have to deal with this or that. If you go in with a Korean, treatment always changes. Not in my experience, been rejected in Busan many times in a group with Koreans. They said the Koreans could come in but not the foreigners. I’ve been to Busan 3 times and it was the only time I’ve been rejected from entering places/businesses, and it happened every time lol. Hell, I even got rejected from THE WATER. Went for a normal swim when some guys on jet ski’s pulled up telling me to go back. Where I’m from I usually swim 100 meters or so from the shore, they wouldn’t even let me get past neck-high water lol. Ngl, I know Koreans can be very territorial and emotional about their city, but in my opinion as a foreigner, Busan seems pretty bad in that regard. Seoul has gotten to the point where no one even really cares if you’re a foreigner, which is how it should be in any large/international city. Wait, so you tried to swim beyond the buoys and the lifeguards told you to go back? Bro, they do that to everyone. There’s a swimming zone at the beach, no one can swim past it. I don’t know, I didn’t see anything and there weren’t even any people at that specific beach at the time. It’s a dumb thing to try to regulate especially onto people who can clearly swim. It’s at your own risk, that’s common knowledge in any country. Water is too dirty closer to the shore, plastic and other shit washes up there so most people who swim tend to go 50-100 meters offshore. Either way generally the water has to be deep enough to where you can’t stand, otherwise you risk into getting scraped by a rock or something, and they stopped me way before that point

Same. Hearing about these rejections is so odd (not that I don’t believe it)…but I’ve lived here with my family for almost 10 years and don’t think I’ve ever been refused service…except by a few taxi drivers early on. It’s wild how everyone’s experiences can be so different. You havent looked hard enough. There are definitely places that dont allow foreigners regardless of language ability. That’s your experience, and that’s great! I was in Seoul multiple times for various lengths of time and I only had one experience where it was clear I wasn’t welcomed. That being said, I had a friend from Europe come to Korea, and her experience was awful. She was told she was welcomed at various establishments, she called me asking how I could like a place that is so mean to foreigners. She had a rough time. It varies for everyone. Exactly. Some Korean businesses practice the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but same acts yet are shocked to find out that similar things happen overseas. Then the government carries out hate acts against Japanese, Chinese, Caucasian, and black people. It’s absolutely disgusting when you learn about the bar bans, Sam Okyere’s racism incident, racism against Southeastern and Chinese students in schools, etc. And even worse is that some foreigners in this post are denying racism happens in Korea because they’re Koreaboo enablers
No, it clearly isn’t obvious you’re talking about the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but government. In fact it reads like you’re laughing at the Korean man addressed in the article and at the reaction from Korean netizens. People you assume and automatically generalize as being inherently racist. The article only mentions controversy online from netizens. The dumb comment you responded to also only mentions netizens. The South Korean government, which you claim you’re talking about, wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Not even by you – until you were called out by the other guy. (Now you’re saying Korean businesses lol which businesses are shocked? Tell us where you’re making these connections. Is the Korean man in the article a racist business owner?

Some information about St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt
Honestly, you seem like one of those annoying Korean Americans that will leverage their ethnicity when “speaking for Koreans” online or overseas. But at the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but same time view themselves as separate and somehow superior to native Koreans for whatever reason – and are overly critical of anything to do with this country while actively choosing to live and work here. I’ve met several Korean Americans with that type of mindset and it‘s frustrating to see. Look it would be satisfying scenario if a racist was met with racism. But that isn’t quite what happened here is it? Many experiences here too. No news stories about us of course and Koreans will often say ‘well many foreigners cause problems’ but amazing how it’s terrible when it happens to them. If they don’t know something, they will just refuse to service. Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re talking to pre-programmed robot
Except that they broke the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but law. In both Korea and Japan confirmation of booking is a legal obligation to give someone tenancy at a designated time. When the employees obstruct a person from being serviced, they are breaking a commercial contract. That is a big reason why the hotel quickly responded by citing they aren’t in violation Japan’s Inns and Hotels Act, because it can be used as an incident to remove their license to be a hotel, which is a big fuck-up. That’s not my observation from being in Japan. Even the rudest Japanese service-provider I had to deal with still did his job(with stone-cold face, but still). But many only know how to repeat the exact things their manager thought them. When the situation is slightly different they just jam and repeat the same sentence over and over… hence pre-programmed robot.
I live in Japan and despite speaking almost native level Japanese, I still remember how frustrating it is when the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but customer service only know how to repeat: sorry we can’t do this + 2 minute of apology I have learned to make my English explanations extra long so me and the Japanese local and stare at each other confused. This way it’s not just me Where does it say anything about the Korean man in the article being racist first? Does this joke not only work if that prerequisite is met? Seriously, I’d be shocked it there is a single outraged netizen who was blissfully unaware of places that ban foreigners in Korea. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. These things should never happen. Lucky for us we live in a country that doesn’t oh well you know what they say about karma. Ehehehe For any Korean people coming to Japan, Ube is a tiny city in a non tourist area where few would normally go in Yamaguchi prefecture. My Korean friends and coworkers come to Japan several times a year, don’t speak Japanese and some barely speak English and have never had a problem. It isn’t though. No one is saying this is widespread or commonplace, but it does happen and did happen or the hotel wouldn’t have apologized. It doesn’t matter how small of a town it happened in.
Yes, it’s not uncommon. Not saying whether it’s right not; but this isn’t new. Had similar thing happen to me before in many different countries (Korea and Japan included) just based off the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but fact that I’m a foreigner (mind you I’m asian mixed but not Korean), because whoever was working at that time at the front desk didn’t want to deal with the possibility of potential English speaking. I mean I’ve had rejected to be served at TJMAX and Mcdonalds in the US for being Asian Hopefully the man gets his money back; and hopefully people will know it’s not uncommon and not JUST a Japan thing or Korean thing, because it really isn’t. Oh wow I completely misunderstood “electric scooter” as “motorized mobility assistance scooter” at first and thought BRO fukuoka to sapporo???? Thought they rejected him bc they didn’t have accessible capsules smh Look people, while it would be a satisfying scenario to see someone that discriminates others being met with discrimination themselves, that isn’t quite what happened here is it?
If it isn’t something obvious like dehydration, it could be that the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but exercising/meditation is bringing up repressed emotions/feelings to the surface. Perhaps the majority of us are meditating wrongly, for example meditation helps in anger management when the user focus on the breath. But the novice meditator would cave in upon feeling a shred of anger, and thus ends the meditation (feeling the need to just do something) Anxiety comes from going inside your mind and projecting possible scenarios of the future. Meditation is you going inside your mind. So probably what’s happening is you’re not grounding yourself in the physical world and still stuck in your head when not meditating. So practice mindfulness as well. I don’t know. I work out at the gym ( either cardio or strength) every other day and it has only good effects. Ask your meditation teacher this question. If you don’t have one , get one so you have skilled guidance. “Anxiety” is kind of a big bucket term. Are you able to examine the anxiety at a deeper level, see if it changes, see if there are associated thoughts, etc? The combination has the opposite effect on me. The meditation blends nicely into my workouts. Everybody is different I guess.
I always feel that my meditation is better if I do a small amount of cardio beforehand. My blood pressure is also lower and I take it every time so I do have evidence to that. Not sure why this is for you. I’m sure my workouts are not that intense we’re talking about 15 minutes walking in about 3.5 mph. Took me a few weeks of meditation before I stopped having panic attacks during meditation. I sometimes still get heightened anxiety during meditation because I’m actually focusing on my feelings instead of distracting myself. Although it is quite rare now. Overall, meditation helps immensely with dealing with my anxiety throughout the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but day. Running has helped since day one however. I always relax and sleep better after a long run, so not sure about that. Try not to worry about worrying, if that makes sense. I often got anxiety about my anxiety, the mind is so silly haha!
I normally meditate to lower heart rate and blood pressure. Now, when I’m doing a cardio workout, I don’t meditate but if I maintain my pace, and I’m doing the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but same movements like running, swimming, cycling, I can go into THE ZONE where I’m not thinking, I’m not myself, but I’m one with the water or the pavement or the bike. It’s like I don’t exist but I am existing. It’s beautiful, it’s weird, its hard to get into but once I’m in there, in the zone, it’s like time ceases to flow. If I were in your shoes and meditation plus cardio made me anxious then Id either keep the two apart or I’d try meditating AFTER my cardio, at the end of the workout, just like how yogis do the savasana corpse pose at the end of a yoga practice.
I make cardio every day and I have been meditating for 30 minutes every day. So I can tell that things reduce anxiety only if you have been making it foafter r minimum couple month every day, but after for a while time you will feel anxiety again until then traning. The prior high intensity activity of running, could possibly trigger unconscious memories from when you felt anxious in the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but past. Remember that the mind itself can’t always diffirentiate between what is real or not. Last year I found out that the days where I did my runs I had no vivid dreams ( I was trying to lucid dream) the next day as opposed to when I didn’t run. I do believe that when you run or exert physical activity that you use a lot of your energy and won’t be able to do certain things. On the other hand I had experiences where I would get my heart rate up by doing push-ups or some jumping jacks and then lay down to meditate and could feel very energized. I’m not sure if this will help or if it relates to you but I thought it was similar in a wayI don’t think anyone believes 2 minutes is the magical number that cleans your teeth, it’s just a guideline of how long you should spend doing it so you get the full effect.
If you think about brushing little circles on all 3 sides of the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but teeth plus the tongue and roof, I think it should take a solid 90 seconds or more. But I’m sure there are variables to what each mouth needs for optimal health. so what is the rule for hand brushing rather than electric brushing? Obviously the electric brush is doing more work, so is it one second per tooth for electric or 10 seconds per tooth for handwork? “3 months salary for a ring” is a DeBeers advertising campaign that became a social norm because people, as a group, are suckers. “8 cups of water a day” comes directly from my urologist and I’m happy to take his advice so I never have to see him again. I am now going to be brushing my teeth to a waltz count, and ONE TWO THREE. Pity I don’t have a larger bathroom. My cardiologist advised me to multiply my weight in pounds by .66 and drink that many fluid ounces of water per day. An 180lbs (80kg) person needs to drink 118 US fluid oz, which is 3.5 litres which is 14 cups of water each day. That’s way too much I’m 175 pounds and drink a little under a gallon (so right around that, maybe slightly more). It doesn’t feel like that much. Maybe you are getting a lot of fluid elsewhere, or are just a bit dehydrated?
Would you say that you drink a lot of water? Do you think you barely meet the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but recommended amount? I say this as someone who does drink a lot, although I don’t measure it. I do think an alarming number of folks have an issue with mild dehydration, but nearly a gallon a day is a lot! I don’t drink very many things that aren’t water, I exercise daily, and my caffeine intake is relatively high, so given those factors I think I’m hitting about the right amount. Those are all great points to be honest. Realistically, the recommended high amounts of water like 14 cups or whatever are probably for people who are also active and healthy. That makes sense, because it’s also recommended that you be active and healthy. But for a couch potato who doesn’t move much, drinking “only” 8 cups is probably the least of their health concerns.
It really just depends on a variety of factors I guess, but more water is almost always healthy, until you get so absurd that it’s unrealistic for a regular person. I’m 130lbs and drink almost a gallon a day and have never gotten close to being hypertonic, so it’s within safe guidelines. Drinking that much water all at once will kill you though I’d never heard the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but 0.66 times weight thing before, but turns out that’s a pretty good estimate of how much water I actually drink. Neat. the mf said 3 seconds each surface and there are at least 76 surfaces (32×2 + an extra face for each of the 12 molars) . no I still do, but toothbrush timers it only does 30s x4. I would think it mostly gets done if you just did both sides though. IIRC, some scientist in the 1930s wrote an article where he determined that a human being should have enough water in their diet to equal 64oz. 64oz is equal to 8 glasses of water. Fruits and a lot of veggies have water in them, so in addition to being hydrated generally, I think his message was to just have a balanced diet. The general public completely misinterpreted this as “I must drink 8 glasses of water everyday” Eh the water thing is an easy rule for them to say and its not enough extra to hurt you. In reality need varies by person/size. I was surprised to learn when I got an electric toothbrush that I normally brush my teeth for two minutes anyway.
It surprised me too, my electric toothbrush pulses every 30s, and I was around half way in-between the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but 3rd and last pulse, so only 10-15 seconds short before getting my current toothbrush You can also brush them for longer if you want. Just generally make sure they’re thoroughly brushed. Also brush your tongue. Brushing longer is not necessarily a good thing you know. My little brother used to always brush for 5 mins and his dentist told him to stop that immediately. He was only still doing it cause he used to have braces Yeah my wife also quite late found out that she was actually damaging her teeths enamel by brushing too hard and too long… All I know is my gums improved when I moved from “a short time” to “two minutes as measured by my electric toothbrush” It’s an arbitrary number. You should clean your teeth but from what I’ve learned, the actual act of brushing and getting all the plaque off your teeth isn’t that important. The important part is getting your teeth exposed to fluorine for as long as possible to help rebuild your teeth. So the longer you brush and the longer you don’t wash the fluorine out of your mouth, the better. Note as you get older, you may want to be careful about brushing too much or too hard. It can lead receding gum issues. Be gentle with brushing near the gumline. It takes 1 minute to flourid (and it’s newer alternatives) to work properly on the bacteria amount commonly found in mouths. So the best way is actually to make sure to get the toothpaste all around the mouth to begin with and then brush for at least one minute. I actually start with mouth rinse for one minute and then I brush for how long I feel like, which can depend on what I’ve eaten. My wife’s engagement ring was $120 at the mall in 1989. Pretty sure this was not even one-tenth of my monthly salary.
The same foods that are harder (or easier) to clean when doing dishes are going to be harder (or easier) to clean from your teeth. If you look at cleaning off the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but plates from the meal, it’s a similar impact to pouring the liquid you drank over the plate before trying to clean it. Some people have bigger and smaller mouths, some people have dirtier or cleaner diets/teeth, some people have a few or many missing teeth. Probably for the teeth one, the variation across people isn’t all that large though, so this one I would probably adhere to. For water, a 90lb woman is NOT going to have the same requirements as a 300lb man, obviously. But take these same people, and chances are they have pretty similar teeth cleaning needs – I think this is one of those numbers you can probably trust. I remember being told that for most people, it might be better to brush for closer to 3 minutes. I was advised the easiest way to do this was just choose a song from my Playlist and listen to that as I brushed, and when it was over, you stopped. Kinda like those kids brushes they used to sell ages ago where you pressed a button and a (singular) song played and the kid was meant to brush until it stopped lmao but I mean if it works, it works, and if you keep up with your dental health then you could probably get away with doing less tbh it’s just a guideline at the end of the day
Not necessarily, as long as I made sure I’ve cleaned thoroughly and flossed and scraped my tongue then I’m done If you brush your teeth properly, you probably don’t need min but I guarantee most don’t brush properly so therefore 2 min of all around brushing is good I switched to a two minute routine with an electric brush and the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but difference was NOTICABLE. 10/10 it is worth it. If you get full dentures in your 20s like I and my parents did, brushing in just drop a tablet in the denture cup. Genetically I didn’t have a chance. I easily get that much water, usually via coffee, tea, or occasionally beer. Actually tap water is just three glasses a day. First wife died from cancer after 32 years, 2nd was naughty and divorced me at 15 months when her allowance from me stopped at , and third marriage is almost 12 years now. Yes, my toothbrush has a timer and stops itself once i reach 2 minutes, but i usually go over anyway. I almost had to do a root canal which would’ve costed me over $5000 aud, don’t fuck around when it comes to your teeth What kind of inferior ring costs 3x someone’s monthly salary? The most brilliant gems and metals are more like 3x someone’s hourly wage
A 2009 study from the St. Louis Battlehawks Kaw is Law shirt it is in the first place but Medical Group GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare found that “increasing brushing time to the consensus minimum of 2 minutes from a more typical 45 seconds increases plaque removal to an extent likely to provide clinically significant oral health benefits”. Reaearchers studied a range of brushing times and found that after 2 minutes the subjects were not removing nearly as much plaque as before. They further concluded that the difference between a 45 second brushing and a 2 minute brushing was severe enough that it would impact dental health. So the two minutes thing has been studied and is not arbitrary. Here’s why it’s not a hard and fast rule though, brushing goes a long way but there is more to good dental hygiene. If you go to the dentist every 6 months for a cleaning, don’t get regular cavities, floss regularly and don’t smoke you probably don’t really need to brush the whole 2 minutes. For the rest of us, two minutes on the electric brush is the way to go.
