I have also learned a great deal more about fabrics/cuts through the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this secondhand process and have gotten a whole heck of a lot more picky in what I buy. I live in Germany and buy almost everything secondhand. Mostly on Vinted (online), but sometimes in thrift stores too. While I haven’t kept any data, I would say that my hit rate is at least 90%. And among those that didn’t work for me, it was either due to fit issues or realizing that the style didn’t look good on me when I tried it on, not due to any inherent flaw in the garment itself. The hardest thing for me to buy online is pants, as I don’t have the “standard” waist/hip ratio, and the easiest is (surprisingly) shoes. I have very standard size 39 (US size 8) feet, not wide. And I only choose secondhand shoes that look barely worn and are the type that I would always wear with socks or tights.

Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt: best trending this year

Know which types of items tend to be easier for you to buy and which ones cause you more problems with the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this fit. In other words, what types of items would you be more likely to need to return if you bought online new? You can feel more confident about buying the easy ones. If buying from a marketplace where you interact directly with the seller (like Vinted), ask for measurements if you are unsure. I don’t usually ask, but I sometimes do if it is the type of item that seems that it may not fit. Sometimes sellers provide these voluntarily. I am also more likely to ask for higher-priced items. Google the size chart of the brand, and if you have the item name itself, like the type of jeans, look for reviews. Oh easily 95% lol but I’ve been buying secondhand for a long time so I’ve made all my mistakes in my early twenties.
I would say my rate is lower for Poshmark than in store because it can be hard to tell whether something will fit, sadly. The good side is you can easily re-sell and the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this loss is lower – although you obviously can’t return. I do spend a long time researching brands and sizing and looking closely at different pictures and I won’t buy unless the seller has a good number of photos to show the condition. i always expect that things might need to be altered slightly, which i can do. so i guess that makes it a little easier for me. but same applies to for example store bought pants that are too long. as a short person there is no way around it i get a lot of really good deals on things that were washed wrong and are shrunk (people won’t tell you but you can really see it and also there’s often a discrepancy between the size they put in the description and the size it says on the label) which hasn’t been a big issue because i have a good steam iron that gets things in shape. then stuff with tiny holes that can be fixed. and most popular, things that may not be washed, like dry cleaning only. so that’s clearly the reason people are giving them away. but i just throw them in the washing machine and they either die or not. but so far they’ve all been fine 2 things i’ve bought within the last couple of months i’m probably going to resell are a bracelet that is just too small so i can’t even put it on and a dress that fits but i kind of don’t like how it looks on me

Let buy this Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt

I have always shopped primarily secondhand. Without poring through my lists of purchases from previous years, I would estimate my thrifting in person success rate to be in the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this ballpark of 60-70% and online secondhand shopping to be 90%+. I find it harder to resist passing up good (usually cheaper) finds when I’m browsing physical stores, whereas I am extremely selective with what I purchase online. I’m working on drastically reducing my clothing consumption, including secondhand, in 2024. My target is 10 or fewer items and I want them all to slap! For me it’s been about 90% hit. I mostly buy items that I have tried on in person or even owned before. I know what style, fabric, and side I like. This results in a very specific search if I need something. I try not to browse for fun, because there’s a chance I may end up buying something I didn’t plan for. It sounds a bit strict but keeps me on track with my budget and closet planning. It’s low, I’m not gonna lie, but it’s way higher than when I started secondhand online shopping about three years ago because I’ve learned a lot. That said, my “new things” hit rate was also historically really low. That was probably in part because I have expensive taste but am not rich and so didn’t like a lot of the stuff in my price range, but also because size variances and other issues arose just as often as they do with secondhand. My takeaway has been that all things being equal, I end up with better stuff secondhand. If I made more money I would probably just buy better brands new, though, and less clothing overall.
Both! I do not thrift personally, but I consider them both a version of shopping secondhand, so both are relevant I’m batting at 60% on TRR and Poshmark BUT i recently stopped buying pants online and that bumps it up significantly 0, pretty much. But I stopped going because I found myself buying things I wouldn’t even buy new simply because they were nicer compared to the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this other merchandise and because they were cheap. I will thrift again, I just need to go in with the same mindset I go in at regular stores, only I need to examine the clothes VERY carefully. I have a few second hand items that are go-tos for me. There are definitely things I bought on poshmark that ended up not working and that I re-poshed. One of my favorite second hand things is a Ralph Lauren cricket sweater. I found it on poshmark and wear it a lot. Great quality and feels luxurious. I also have a purse I bought second hand that is vintage that I started using more than my designer bag when I first bought it. I bought a chambray shirt second hand maybe 12 years ago that’s still a favorite over the summer.
In person purchases for me have a much higher success rate. Poshmark, I would say 3 out of 8 purchasers worked for me. My hit rate is usually pretty high for online apps, EBay is close to 100% and depop coming in second. I used to be a thredup enthusiast but out of every piece I loved, 3-4 were huge misses. I don’t get to shop secondhand in person anymore, but, I think I had more misses with those as well since it led me to impulse purchase more often. To increase the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this likelihood of getting a purchase I’ll be satisfied with I keep a list of all my measurements and ideal clothing measurements (waist size, optimal arm length, garment length, inseam, pants rise, etc) and that’s helped a ton. I like this question a lot. Don’t have exact numbers, but I think my eye for vintage is better than my eye for new stuff, maybe because I am not enthralled by their newness, or distracted from the fact I really don’t need that by appealing online marketing. While I have gotten rid of some vintage items, it’s notable that most of the ones I ended up getting rid of were because I had gained weight or my body shape had changed. In particular, I had this amazing yellow tweed skirt which I still miss and a magenta Betsy Johnson velvet dress that I also got rid of (this one I regret because I’m pretty sure it would fit me again now). I also seriously regret getting rid of a few items, notably a black velvet blazer (it was slightly too large in the bust, but I found a tailor literally the week after I donated it), and an oversized blue silk shirt with a chain pattern on it (“It’s 2017 and I need to get into tasteful minimalism”). Only secondhand/vintage items I don’t regret getting rid of are a plaid skirt (purchased at value village) that was OK, but I upgraded to a pleated one in a nicer quality wool; and a pair of Everlane loafers which I got on ebay but were slightly too small in the toebox and gave me blisters every time I wore them, despite my arsenal of anti-blister sticks and specialized band-aids.
By contrast, I have virtually no regrets about any items I sold or donated over the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this years that were purchased new. This includes items I bought as “cool accent pieces” (a subset of my wardrobe that is now mostly vintage, so maybe the most direct comparison of a hit rate between new/vintage items) For me it’s about 70%! I’m getting better at eyeballing whether something is going to fit but sometimes I bring an item home and it’s a little too tight or it’s itchy or there’s something else. It’s funny like you said finding out why an item probably ended up in the thrift store in the first place. And even if some things go right back to the thrift store I’m still saving so much money compared to when I bought all my clothes new! Last year I purchased: 1 item in Poshmark= liked/kept. 2 items on EBay = didn’t like either, gifted to family. 14 items on TRR= liked 11, 3 didn’t work out. Like OP,I purchase most of TRR items final sale though(80% off). Like someone else mentioned I try to find items that fit my measurements as close as possible, but if I see an occasional “can’t pass it up deal” not in size I only purchase if the size is larger than mine so that the item can be tailored.
Yep, I’ve definitely had some issues with final sale TRR, but I’ve gotten better at knowing my general measurements/ focusing on items where fit is not so key/ I can get it altered I find I can usually get more in-depth information about pieces by asking the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this seller directly and higher quality items are at a more accessible price for me too. Almost all of my clothing is purchased secondhand now. When I’m shopping in store, I often get FOMO and buy things that I would haver never bought from a regular store but because it’s in my size and nice-ish, I buy it. And then I end up not wearing those items that much. When I buy from ebay or vinted it’s 50/50 hit or miss since I can’t try it on or return. I also get overwhelmed by the options.
Most of my clothes are fairly ordinary and I don’t have a problem with that. I tend to like individual items but love outfits when the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this outfit just clicks. Bought 28 items secondhand in 2023 (for me & family members), of which six were duds for various reasons. I would estimate the same ratio for new. I do tend to buy something new and then buy a different color secondhand for less, so I’m pretty much guaranteed to like those purchases. My hit rate is pretty low because I mostly buy secondhand at thrift stores that don’t allow trying on clothes. I’m mid size so depending on the era the clothing is in, the number on the tag doesn’t give me much leeway to understand its true fit. I do a lot of the tricks to find my fit but I won’t know until I take them home. I will say I have a tendency to find crazy prices for name brand stuff at the thrift store so honestly that’s more of a data point for me. I walked away from a store with a satin shirt retailing $500 for $20 bucks on a vacay. Overall though my rate is pretty low but it works out as I’m usually sending the stuff that I didn’t fit in back to my family in a different country anyways.
My hit rate is really high for second hand – esp if accurate measurements and descriptions are provided and it’s a brand I’ve worn before. TRR is definitely the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this source of my biggest flops because of their penchant for inaccuracy but also many of my best deals – I just return stuff pretty aggressively and rarely buy stuff final sale. For Poshmark and online I’d say I have about a 75-80% success rate, I do try to get accurate measurements before I buy. A couple things the photos maybe didn’t show the true colour or shape, or the overall fit was a bit off. In person it’s probably 90%+ maybe a few little fit surprises due to thrift stores getting rid of fitting rooms. I also do a lot of clothing swaps with friends, and those I definitely end up taking home more things I wouldn’t otherwise because they’re free, but still find a lot of gems – I’d say 60% success. I’m based in the UK and do all of my shopping on the Vinted app or the occasional vintage kilo sale. My hit rate is about 70% but I tend to buy bundles to reduce postage so I know a few items might not fit me or suit me, and I sell those on or offer hand-me-downs to my nieces. It really helps if you know your style and body shape and have a few go-to brands where you know their sizes. I have the same rate of issues with new clothes that i do with secondhand. Quality from most retailers right now is pretty spotty. I haven’t gone for second hand stuff in a while (since graduating college) but everything I thrifted back then are staple pieces now, depending on the season.
My hit rate is definitely high; I’m actually wearing a vintage find dress right now and most of my clothes and many accessories are thrifted. I do the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this majority of that shopping in person though and I can’t think of anything I bought secondhand online that I’ve absolutely loved. The bad habit I have is buying pants or jeans secondhand even when I can’t try them on, and that’s almost always a miss. I’m starting to learn now haha My collection of high quality thrifted dresses is amazing, but my collection of “why not?” cheap thrifted tank tops brings my numbers down. Generally the more I spend on a second-hand item, the longer it sticks around. Partly because I’m more careful when I buy it, but also because I’m motivated to make it work! I think my hit rate is a bit lower than I’d like, but there’s another telling stat: for items that work, I wear them a LOT. I’d say about 30% of my items remain for a year or more.
But some of them, like my beautiful OOAK wool figural novelty sweater, I’ve had for 6+ years and worn hundreds of times. I’ve worn out a pair of Mercedes Castillo mules, even worn out the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this replaced soles! My Lilith (my most-bought brand) is all second-hand by necessity and I’ve worn the HECK out of most of those pieces. I bought a pair of pretty worn-down Madewell sneakers, wore them into the ground (100+ times) and then repurchased the same pair secondhand, but New without Tags. Proceeding to wear THEM into the ground. If it works, it works. But the thing about second-hand is it’s almost always a compromise in some way. I bought a 1980s jumpsuit and cut the top half off because it was a hair too small. I then finished the waist with binding tape (from another skirt I took apart), installed a zipper in the back, repositioned the buttons, and installed a hook and eye closure. However, the zipper being in the back (from when it was a one-piece with a tux front) is a PITA and not what I would have chosen in the first place. But I wear those pants frequently.
A guy comes to a proctologist and says something feels weird back there, so the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this doctor puts on a glove and goes to town. Because there’s only a limited number of holes it could be stuck in, not everyone likes sounding, and it’d be just as awkward if it were in the throat. Or the nose. The secret was out as soon as David played the G major chord. Though I’ve been told He was quite pleased with it. Imagine of it was somewhere else, we would be pressing it FOREVER, put it somewhere there’s shit and it’s hard to reach by yourself, boom now we have productivity I mean I feel this could surly be true, going back to hunter gather times men would hunt for days on end and I feel they wouldn’t of been as successful if they had easy access It’s actually in the foreskin. The vast majority of men worldwide keep theirs, and still remain productive, so clearly it isn’t a problem. The church won’t tell you this but the real forbidden fruit is the banana. It wasn’t eve and it wasn’t a bite. That’s why he got so made. Cuz it makes taking a big shit feel better. And given some people somehow go number two for like half an hiur. It makes some sense I guess.
Actually, the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this female G spot is just the inner membrane wall that the clit is attached to from the outside!! Very much the same “organ” and literally not a small hard to find SPOT! Males are just underdeveloped, in the famels it resembles the clitoris which is more developed and gradually gets out the ass Pretty sure the “male g spot” is just the prostate and the only way to get close to that is the asshole. You can make a new hole if that is preferred.. but you might want a doctor nearby for the blood loss. To protect it from accidental stimulation. Can you imagine if it was on your shoulder? You’d orgasm every time you brushed past so.ebody in the corridor! I don’t know about you, but I like my jeans to stay (relatively) jizz free.
It’s actually in the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this foreskin, but the vast majority of men worldwide keep theirs and don’t have any issues. Clearly that isn’t a problem. It’s not. It’s in about the same place as periurethral glandular tissue in females, because it’s all the same basal tissue just differentiated into different forms through sex chromosomes. Sort of like how the clitoris is the same tissue as a penis (yes, it’s gay if you touch it), or how the labia is the same tissue as the scrotum. Biologically we all start as ‘genderless’ with female being the default unless chromosomes are present / not present, I would assume. I only see one other comment trying to rationalise this, and some number of trash redditors replying because the thread gave them a chance to practice their witticisms.
It isn’t. The male G spot is actually the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this frenulum and ridged band of the foreskin. The frenulum connects the foreskin to the underside of the penis, and the ridged band is at the opening of the foreskin. They contain thousands of fine touch nerve endings. They tell men the lie that the prostate is their G spot, because they would be furious about being circumcised without their consent if they knew the truth. Religions and cultures deliberately target the foreskin, because they know it’s the centre of male sexuality and pleasure. Thankfully, almost no other developed countries practice circumcision, but the US is still way behind on that issue. Circumcision is probably the biggest medical scam in history.
I live in Ohio and I do believe that is farming/laboring attire. Fashion is a stretch lol. Where do people wear this as a flex I’m curious? OP didn’t put together a very good example here. Carhartt is getting pretty big, but the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this only Carhartt anything that’s a flex to wear is a vintage Carhartt Detroit jacket. They’re going for a fuckton on ebay right now because of streetwear. Carhartt itself has come back in a huge way, not just the detroit jackets. Standard hooded jackets, double knees, and vests are all in huge demand. It’s kinda mind boggling, frankly, but people love the look. Wouldn’t say people wear it as a flex but used Carhartt has become a trend to wear because of the look of the aged canvas(?) they use. I think it looks cool but ppl have their own tastes
I’m buddies with the Snoopy and Woodstock all I need today is a little bit of Georgia Bulldogs and a whole lot of Jesus shirt What’s more,I will buy this owner of a local vintage boutique near me, and he told me a huge chunk of his business is selling old carhartt jackets he finds at thrift stores on eBay. He told me they usually sell for over $200 a piece. Its a trend right now. I don’t consider it a flex, but I def get compliments when I wear my carhartt coveralls out to the bar. I wear them at the shop all the time. Go out on a Saturday with them cleaned up paired with the right kicks and a nice cable knit sweater and they look way different. Also, utilitarian design is always in. You are never going to get rid of clothing that can hold up to manual labor and the test of time while looking classic with its silhouettes. This looks like what my redneck cousin wears to work (except for the Timbs. These dudes don’t do lace up boots). He does something with pipelines I think
