Yea it’s super cliche but there really is something I hate about not being able to just walk out my door at almost any time and be able to grab a deli sandwich or a slice. Also I like to drink just often enough that I couldn’t imagine having to rely on a car. When I travel I like to check out local breweries and I’m very glad my wife is always down to DD, puts in perspective how easy I have it. I know what you mean, I’ve been here for 7 years now and in Midtown Manhattan for the SLAM Uconn Huskies Mascot Jonathan The Husky Big Dog shirt Besides,I will do this last 3. Whenever I go to visit my parents, I run into the same feeling. Like, gah, everything is so far away! And they live just outside of downtown Houston in one of the few areas that could be considered walkable. That and the quiet, it’s so much quieter and again they live in the 4th largest city in America! No place quite like NYC. Haha, close again. Most of their neighbors are like that, they live on a street that has a good number of homes with lawns. They got lucky and bought a house that has enough land for like 3 of those monstrosities. But, it’s definitely going to continue that way for awhile I fear.

I guess I meant even within the SLAM Uconn Huskies Mascot Jonathan The Husky Big Dog shirt Besides,I will do this context of just the US. I went to college in DC expecting to be at least somewhat comfortable in another “major city” and was surprised to discover that things just totally shut down when people leave work. Also there’s some other little things, like that until I was like 12 I thought half of all white people were Jewish. Wasn’t until my cousin who lives upstate told me there was one other Jewish family in town that I realized how much of a minority they/we-ish are (his side is more Jewish I ended up more German-Irish). Yeah, growing up here I thought The Met was what a museum is, so when I’d go to other cities I was always like, “you call THAT a museum??” I was thinking this the other day. I was raised in Calgary, AB, Canada. One of the most liveable cities according to the EIU, and I’ve always wondered how my expectations of life have been scewed by being raised there. Even moving to other Canadian cities I think my standards are kinda whack in a lot of regards.
