Geez, Sam – maybe that’s because holding religious beliefs that seek to deny personal freedoms to other people IS bigotry. It’s also fascist! “These mean ole libs hurt my feelings and call me a BIGOT just because I want to pick and choose which people are allowed to have basic human rights in America!” -Injustice Samuel Alito Are bigots getting shanked and beaten in a bathroom for being a bigot? So wait, that is actually happening to gay and gender non-conforming children? But this massively wealthy privileged bigot is just worried about himself and bigots like him? Got it. Lots of deeply held beliefs important to specific faiths are now unlawful. Burning witches, human sacrifice, child marriages, trial by ordeal (if it fits the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this definition of torture). Something can be your deeply held religious belief and be wrong and against the law. People like Warren Jeff’s can, and do argue, freedom of religion and feel they are persecuted for their religion all day long, but they still can’t break the law.
Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt: Get Cozy in this shirt
What’s next? “If we institute a Christian version of Sharia Law, women’s rights will be properly subjugated again and we can throw the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this homos in prison camps, but some people are going to call us Christofascists, dang it.” It’s almost like if you act like a bigot, talk like a bigot, and get offended that someone doesn’t like people who are bigots, you just might be a bigot. Alito would also be “surprised” that opponents of interracial marriage and civil rights would be treated as bigots. Yeah because they are. You don’t need to be a judge to know that. Only conservatives act like they are being forced into something. They could just ignore it because it hardly affects them. “obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.” Wow! That must have taken the homophobe years to make the connection that not liking gay marriage would lead people to believe that you’re a bigot! Alito: I’m just trying to use the state to deny recognition and rights to people I don’t like. And for that they are calling me names! All people did was behave like bigots and now people treat them as bigots. Next week he will be surprised when people take issue if someones “traditional religious views” demand from them to kill someone having a child out of wedlock.
Well…there really is no legal reason to be against gay marriage. It’s always for religious reasons or because people just don’t like it. especially : one who regards or treats the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance To be clear he is saying that conservatives should lie to judges so they can get into juries and use their religion as justification to be biggots. Bigot noun a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. Do you want everyone else to not be allowed to marry because you don’t think it’s religiously correct? Then you are a bigot. Do you practice kindness and humanity to everyone you meet regardless of the gender of who they love? Then you are not a bigot. Following a religion that doesn’t seem to support same sex marriage doesn’t make you a bigot ipso facto. It’s what you decide to do with that belief that makes you a bigot. “Alito said he’d anticipated that Americans would be labeled as bigots unless they hid their traditional religious beliefs about “homosexual conduct.”
About this Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt
Any and every opinion on a civil rights question that is based solely in one person’s religion should not be allowed to restrict that civil right. Consensual relationships are victimless. Any two people can cosign a loan or a mortgage or a business license or an insurance policy. Ergo, any adult, consensual relationship that seeks to default all these legal questions into a single license should not be prohibited for purely religious reasons. The marriage license does not require the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this approval of a church, just a clerk and a judge. This is me, as a lifelong Southerner and devoutly religious person, saying quit trying to legislate and adjudicate (edit: sp) religion. I’m so glad his fears are realized. Could not tell that fucking prick enough how happy it makes me that yes, you fucking bigoted prick, we all see you and yours for the bigots you are. Cry about it into your limp dick soup you fucking pricks. Thanks! How is someone who believes homosexuality should be punished supposed to rule impartially on a case where it is being argued whether someone is being punished for homosexuality?
Which would he prefer: Being called bigoted because society won’t let him hate gay people, or being one of the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this gay people he hates? My religion tells me that any Conservative charged with a crime should be automatically given the death penalty. Please seat me on the jury. I’m not really interested in the opinions of the justices anymore, but I will say I’m surprised someone who got as far as he did doesn’t understand how the court of public opinion works. Literally a 5 second read of the article on the case says that jurors were kicked out because of their stated prejudice against gays. Other Christians were not booted. So the decision to kick them off was ENTIRELY because of prejudice, not religion. Alito is the fucking worst.
I wish we could got back to the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this 2010s where people were more tolerant and accepting in general. It’s all gone downhill since then Can we stop posting these articles that are just conservatives saying obviously inaccurate shit? It’s just shit from a butt. Don’t keep pointing at the shit. Oh no, the bigots are afraid to be seen as bigots because they might get treated the way they treat others. Boo fucking who What is it about boomers that they’re just figuring this out? Thank you for revealing you don’t understand how things work and are mad.
Russian here. There is a strong minority who hate him for obvious reasons. There is a not so strong minority who love him or like him. As always in Russia (and maybe elsewhere) there are people who love whoever is in charge because it’s authority and you can’t argue with authority. Older people, on average, like him more than younger people. Despite trying to project an image of an energetic leader, Putin (71) can’t connect with 20-year-olds. He’s been in power for almost 25 years. There are people who were born when he was president (some of them have already been killed in Ukraine). The majority do not really care. It’s like the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this weather, you just adjust your plans and tolerate it. Unless you are willing to become an oppositionist and risk your career and even your life. Russians cannot change their president now. Since 2022 Russia is a full-fledged autocracy, Putin doesn’t even pretend to be a democratic leader who protects the rule of law. His legitimacy is now that of a wartime leader.
I used to play a game online popular in Russia, made a lot of Russian friends, this is exactly how they think. In fact I think it’s a loosely translated joke in Russian because I’ve heard idioms so close to this from them in different ways, for different scenarios. You get used to it in big countries like US and Russia. Not much you can do when your country is actively doing it. The sad truth is that most people don’t care much about politics unless it directly affects them in an obvious way and thus help such oppressive leaders stay in power. I also thought so before the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this war and mobilization happened. They won’t anyway. Yes, even if their son or husband was conscripted and killed. It’s like just some kind of natural disaster, just happened by itself.
They’ve been primarily keeping it out of Moscow and St. Petersburg and conscripting troops from other areas of the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this country. Yes, like Russian Asia. Still lots of people there, even if it is spread out over a greater area than the same population in the larger cities. Erdogan did a similar thing in Turkiye, where he came to the very reasonable conclusion that the votes coming frim outside the larger cities are just as valuable as the ones from the larger cities. So he focused his efforts there, to the culturally and religiously more conservative population. That also has had more direct problems with different Kurdish terrorist actions. So he took on a more conservative and anti-kurdish stance than was common and expected. A brutal shift. where he came to the very reasonable conclusion that the votes coming frim outside the larger cities are just as valuable as the ones from the larger cities. So he focused his efforts there, to the culturally and religiously more conservative population.
In the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this usa it is even more so, as they don’t utilize a first past the post or “popular vote” system. In turkiye they do. No districts are more or less important. A vote in Istanbul or Ankara have the same weight as one in Eastern Anatolia. I understand both systems, and they both have their pros regarding making votes matter and of the original nature of the sovereign state known as USA. It’s interesting you say that. My Russian friends will concede that yes, they have had the same president for 24 years… But… in the west we have had the same 50 wealthy families bending our politics to their will for more than 24 years… With no term limits in congress it really isn’t that much different that here in the US I suppose. We hide our corruption behind ‘lobbying’ I guess Just wonder if Russians can access internet freely or you guys need to use vpn to access Reddit Facebook or YouTube just like Chinese people do ? Was a bit uncomfortable when some game servers hosted by amazon were gone in first weeks but it somehow solved itself. About Steam. Steam itself works fine too without VPN. Some game publishers don’t sell games to Russians, and you can’t charge steam wallet directly from russian banks cards. But there are plenty of ways to avoid these problems. Like some people use foreign Visa, you can also change account region to buy games, also you can buy them from Russian resellers or if you have foreign banking card – from any key sellers. Prices a bit higher of course.
I am not in Russia at the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this moment, but Youtube (still) works fine in Russia, you need a VPN to access Facebook. As for Reddit, I doubt that the FSB/KGB are aware of its existence (at least not yet). And yet the average Russian is unaware of the existence of Reddit. Fun fact: for some reason, LinkedIn has been blocked in Russia for ages. it’s weird, reddit is the only social media that’s simultaneously super omnipresent and somehow still unknown to most regular people, if that makes sense Reason LinkedIn is blocked: Many years ago Russian government demanded that personal data of Russian citizens must have copies on servers in Russia. Cause FSB need to have access to everything and everyone. LinkedIn refused – don’t think it was becouse of ideology but I think it was because cost was higher than profit from Russian users.
My company, an online platform, stopped doing business in Russia. I creates ads for all of the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this countries in which we operate and Russian is the worst to typeset for because their Cyrillic characters don’t really have ascenders or descenders (like the vertical part of a “d” or a “p”, so it looks like all caps, which doesn’t look good if more than a single line. (Who cares, right?! lol) Oh I’m sure we placed bots in here long ago. However, looking on mainstream news subreddits is the best propaganda that Russian intelligence services could ask for, because any normal Russian civilian reading them may actually think people here in the west want to genocide them all. I feel like they probably don’t want the average citizen to know that they are being watched… so they will feel at ease and comfortable doing un-Russian things without hesitation. Like leaving a bad review for Stroganoff and then spending over an hour browsing recipes for quiche. Still. Even if the US govt wanted their citizens to stay away from a globally popular social media platform, I’d still expect the CIA to at least know about it.
The KGB does know. They just aren’t dumb enough to ruin their cover by being obvious. They take being called the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this secret police very seriously. Because Russian. I made most of that up. Facebook and Instagram are banned, YouTube is close to be banned (they still try to use it for propaganda), Reddit is off the radar as it’s really unpopular. As always in Russia (and maybe elsewhere) there are people who love whoever is in charge because it’s authority and you can’t argue with authority Definitely not true in the UK, the leaders are hated so much they can’t even make it 4 years without being forced to resign… It’s psychologically hard to be against an autocracy that can (and would) crush your life would you happen to show disloyalty publically, so people just join the strong, it’s simply morally comforting. But that also means that as soon as that power goes, that “love” will vanish like vapor and the majority of supporters won’t give a single fuck about him after that. Typical Westerner comment. You have the privilige to change your leaders, Russians do not. It is to a large degree their fault, but still. A Russian and I, an American, was basically having a call of duty circlejerk in Dota 2 all chat saying the most heinous shit about eachother, stereotyping the fuck out of eachother, when eventually the banter died down and he told me one thing I’ll never forget. The fact America has done its fair share of equivalently Russian terrorist attacks. And how we were both just trying to live within our society and enjoy a game in the middle of the long histories of the crimes of our allegiances. Felt like afterwards I just had a shot and a cigarette with the dude. Just felt like… yeah, we’re all sons of bitches.
The fact that there are Russian men who lived and died without seeing another Russian leader is incredibly sad to me. As always in Russia (and maybe elsewhere) there are people who love whoever is in charge because it’s authority and you can’t argue with authority. Sorry that your country has turned into an autocracy though. I imagine it’s very tough to have to make a decision between putting your head town and tolerating your govt or risking everything to go against them. It’s easy for people in other countries to say they’d act differently if they were in your shoes, but the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this reality is no one knows until they live it. This is why I don’t bother with this sub anymore. All the AI bot questions now are just answerable with “Some do, some don’t.” Those little bastards are trying to learn context.
What people always want to hear when this kind of question is asked: Is he generally popular or generally unpopular? Is opinion mixed? Can we not really know because of fear of Putin? Etcetera. I know you got a bunch of upvotes. That’s just sad in this subreddit of all subreddits. OP shouldn’t have to phrase his question like he’s talking to a goddamn genie granting three wishes. We all know what he wants to know and why your answer was annoyingly unhelpful. Despite this sub’s name I do think this is a stupid question, because OBVIOUSLY this is the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this indisputable answer that everybody would know, OP included. It’s disingenuous. Some like him, because he presents himself like someone to be liked. Others do not like him, because they know how he really is, but they mostly stay silent about it because they do not want to be punished for voicing negative opinions about him.
I had to learn about a massive budget deficit when I was on a trip, called, asked my family and nobody even knew it happened because the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this freaking president was involved so no famous news outlets decided to run the news and most people that knew, didn’t think it was that big deal because it wasn’t talked about anywhere. Imagine this, the news was so big, eventually the president got in jail for literally 10 years but no news sites covered it initially showing just how corrupt everything was inside. Those who don’t like him keep their mouths shut as any protest attempt or public posts criticizing the government are very dangerous and only the few bravest ones (or most desperate ones) dare to speak. On the contrary Z-people and Kremlin bots are very loud and constantly shove their opinions down to everyone’s throats to keep the impression that they are majority now.
Any public polls out there are as reliable as our elections. I.e. I wouldn’t trust it and you shouldn’t either. Putin is doing a good job of keeping us scared to prevent the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this Gorbachev scenario and at the same time keeping economy afloat to prevent the Ceausescu scenario. Just out of curiosity- can you critisize Putin in your friends and family circle though? Like talk about in family dinners? I admit all my Russian friends left Russia after the iron curtain fell and they were babies, so I don’t know much. So forgive me if my questions are stupid. till before the war, the answer was clearly yes. people talked trash about the government all the time; of course, if you were someone people listened to – a prominent businessman, a well known artist, or even a social media influencer with significant following, they would find ways to inconvenience your life to convince you to shut up; but it wasn’t exactly ‘being prosecuted for criticizing the government’. it was more like your taxes were very thoroughly audited, or the fire inspection found some violations, or made up unrelated criminal charges were pressed against you;
there were some laws (for the Silent Hill 2 remake there was a hole here it’s gone now retro Shirt and I love this most part passed after i left Russia, so i might understand their impact incorrectly) that could be used to prosecute government critics; for example ‘offending feelings of religious people’ became prosecutable, and the way Putin’s government and the orthodox church are intertwined, when you criticize one you usually criticize the other After the war started, laws were passed that public speech that ‘undermines war effort’ became prosecutable as well Edit: there was a comment that i wanted to reply to, but that has been deleted while i was typing a response, but I still want to post my reply because maybe my answer is confusing to some people Of course, when people criticize the government and then bad things happen to them, it’s very clear that they are being prosecuted by the government for criticizing the government. You’ll get no argument from me there
