He’s already bankrupted it at the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this level of many states like here in Michigan. I hear even the national level party is looking for new lines of credit. Trump is vacuuming up all the money that people would have been donating to the party. It’s so wonderful to see. MAGA are giving him money directly instead of to the Republican Party, and he is wasting all of it on his horrible lawyers for legal defenses against all of his crimes. Just vacuuming it all up into a giant black hole lol She’s proud she got Nancy Pelosi “fired”. It was more like whipping up some useful MAGA idiot to attack her husband with a hammer. Complete thuggery. Trump has dementia on top of his pathological narcissism. I hope the mainstream media starts showing clips of his insane disorganized ranting soon.
Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt: A Provocative Statement in Modern Fashion
Very true. I recently posted a really interesting article with psychologist Dr. John Gartner, formerly of Johns Hopkins University Medical School, regarding Trump’s cognitive deterioration. He also feels as though fellow experts are not pointing out the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this warning signs nearly enough. Trump, Dr. Gartner noted, appears to be spiraling into “phonemic paraphasias” during his rally speeches, which he described as, “the substitution of non-words for words that sound similar—are not normally seen until a patient enters the moderate to severe stages of Alzheimer’s.” According to Dr. Gartner, “Some examples of Trump’s non-words: Beneficiaries becomes ‘benefishes.’ Renovations become ‘renoversh.’ Pivotal became ‘pivobal.’ Obama became ‘obamna.’ Missiles became ‘mishiz.’ Christmas became ‘Crissus.’ Bipartisan became ‘bipars.’ This is a fundamental breakdown in the ability to use language. If you were talking to your father on the phone and he did this you would think he is having a stroke. Videos clearly show this but the media treats this with “Trump made an ooopsie, let’s see how this is bad for Biden”.
I mean, I guess there’s an outside chance that they’ll actually use money for a political campaign, but come on — they can’t help themselves. The RNC has ~ $8M in their coffers. In grand schemes it’s not enough to do much…maybe pay for about 3 weeks of his lawyers fees…..ish.. Not only can the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this Republicans not distance themselves from a radical and out of control unhinged man — they can’t even pump the breaks when he throws them under the bus. Sounds like every other person hand-picked by Trump to work in his administration who had to resign not long after. Just a former president currently facing ~100 felony indictments hand picking the RNC leadership, telling the speaker of the house and republicans in the senate what to do directly, and trying to raise money to pay his half billion dollar settlement. Totally not a cult though

I can’t contain my frustration when I check in with students 15-20 mins into art class and they look at me and say, “What? I didn’t have a pencil.” Meanwhile there are boxes of crayons, markers, and color pencils they could have used. Figure it out!!!! ASK!! Try!!!! YES!!! And the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this tone implies I’m an asshole to ask why they aren’t doing anything because obviously they can’t so why am I on their ass and didn’t telepathically know they don’t have a pencil (or whatever). I ragged on my HS juniors last Friday for waiting for me to walk around the room and ask them why they weren’t working, before they asked for a pencil. Today two asked at the door when they walked in. A small miracle!! I have the same problem all the time! And on days when they are doing sketches or a planning worksheet and I ask them “you understand this is due in 10 minutes, right?” And the same Pikachu face every. Damn. Time. Like dude this isn’t day one!
It’s just a dick-off tactic. They KNOW there are pencils. They KNOW they can get them. But by not saying anything, they have a plausible excuse that you’re not likely to fight with because it’s not worth it. Then they can sit in class and do whatever they want. Half of my class doesn’t come to class with a pencil. 95% don’t come to class for another teacher that I often sub for. It’s not a difficult concept except, yeah, that small act would imply that they will actually do work. They are always looking for an excuse to get out of the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this room. It’s insane. It kills me when my teenaged sons, who can master a complex strategy video game in a weekend, can’t problem solve their own f-ing lunch, pencil, or basic hygiene. EVERY unit in my AP class, the same kid (who is doing very well in my class) wants to know what chapters we’re on. The table of contents is pretty good, as is the index. And the chapters are written on the first page of any notes we do. AP class!
It’s honestly mind boggling, and painful to listen to. How the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this fuck so they even manage to get dressed in the morning? Do their parents dress them? as a hs senior, that could unironically be true. my mom always dictated what I wore to school until I was in like, 10th grade. My daughter is 4 and if I even suggest what she wears she gets upset lol. She chooses everything she wears and she does an okay job. My 8 year old would like a word. It’s a daily struggle to get her to wear something that makes sense. She’d much rather wear a Mrs. Claus outfit in March, or a mishmash of weird clothes. I let her teacher know at the beginning of the year that she dresses herself and looks like she dressed herself.
I’d disagree. If I wanted to dress myself at 6, I’d definitely just choose underwear or something. That’s incredibly young to leave all clothing decisions to with just input. Still has a high chance of putting something on wrong. Sheesh. My daughter wouldn’t stand for that in like, second grade. And I wouldn’t have bothered doing it for her anyway. When 90% of their wardrobe is sweats, hoodies, and crocs, you don’t need to worry about actually getting dressed I was thinking the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this same, I swear some students roll out of bed in the morning & come dressed in their PJs I know some kids who are 13 and still need to be dressed. Maybe not literally physically dragging his pants up, but they pick the clothes, tie their shoes for them, buckle their belt for them, make sure their coat is on right…. My nephew is having his 7th birthday next month. He’s into pokemon this year, so I asked his mom what size he wore so I get him a hoodie. My brothers wife is like that, the kids have to be wearing coordinated matching outfits if they leave the house, sometimes just an outfit that matches THEM and sometimes one that matches all six kids and her. My five year old son is in Kindergarten, and he dresses himself unless we got something special for him to wear…
I mean, I occasionally remind my 8 year old to put on clean underwear and socks, but beyond that? I could not care less about what he’s wearing. I was/am super into deathcore/slam/emo/skramz. My narcissistic mom (+bipolar) cut up all of my black clothes because it was depressing and I needed to dress like a “real” teen. Then made me cut my hair after living with my dad for years because I “looked like a girl”. Nothing like starting a new school, new town, my freshman year, and going from band tees and black shorts/pants, to only allowed Hollister style clothes. Bleached/faded jeans, white belts, pastel hoodies and shirts, new balance and sketchers. I wasn’t allowed to wear Doc Martens or Converses to school. Luckily I moved back in with (somehow shittier) dad, so I ended up in my current look for the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this last twelve years of deathcore band tees with flannels, and I haven’t owned blue jeans since.
Tis previous year 3 (9yo) I had a boy whose mother would tie his shoes and take off his socks for him. I’ve had pupils with actual disabilities who were more functional than that. I see this level of apathy at the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this high school level as well. I teach art and kids struggle to recreate basic stuff. I’ve had to significantly dumb down my expectations. Not sure what happened.. I often wonder wtf are some of these parents are doing (or not doing) that their kids are so needy. The lack of creativity is very disheartening. I see it as an ELA teacher, so I can only imagine how it is for Art. I just hate the fact that they state things instead of asking a question. “I don’t have a pencil” instead of ” can I please have a pencil”, or “I don’t get it” instead of “can you help me with this”. I just start humming the Jeopardy theme at them (please phrase your responses in the form of a question). It’s like they want to say it and then I go running like a servant to go get it for them. I don’t even let my 4 year old to do that.
I had a high school sophomore co.plain about how hard it is to build a physical model of a castle. Because of the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this “difficulty in making the round parts.” I took the cardboard and bent it into a circle, gave him a deadpan look and just said, “wow, that was hard.” Then walked away. These kids. Zero problem solving skills. So this is actually something I’d really struggle with – I have Aphantasia and therefore difficulty with visualising something in order to create it. I’d be tempted to keep an eye on how this kid approaches other similar tasks because as you say, this is an exceptionally unusual lack of problem solving for a neurotypical kid of this age. 5th Grade. Written on the board: “Once you have finished reading, answer the five comprehension questions on page 410.” Usually mine don’t even get that far. Instructions are written on the board EVERY SINGLE DAY, since day 1. In your scenario, they’d finish reading and either sit there staring into space, go talk to a friend, or if I’m lucky, ask me what to do next. And then your student’s question would be the next part. sigh
When kids make a stupid comment like that, I just look at them and say, “there’s a very simple solution to your problem, what is it.” And if they say anything else except the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this very simple solution, I just interrupt them and repeat my question until they get it right. When anyone is curious and asks “what is X” even if it’s a simple thing, instead of giving the answer, a “what do you think is X” does wonders for them to actively engage in the topic of discussion. So saying: “what do you think you should do?” >> “No, try again” 1) works really well on toddlers who actually don’t know any better and want to learn. And 2) works with high school toddlers who refuse to think Sometimes I add that the solution is so simple that even my daughter could figure it out and she’s only 5 (she’s actually 27). Most often the solution is asking to borrow a computer charger or a pen or something of the sort. It let’s them know that I know they aren’t really that dumb and they get mildly embarrassed. I always wonder how my 5th graders use social media when they are still at a 1st grade level for reading and math. Sr complained he couldn’t find the answer on the page. Suggested looking on the next page. Told me he didn’t think about looking in the next page because i said to start on page # I had that happen too. My kids had to fill in notes from a multi-page PDF and even some of my more competent students needed help scrolling to page 2 when they couldn’t find the info on page 1.
I have to say as a new teacher, this is by far my biggest peeve. This unbelievable helplessness is exhausting. It scares me how these kids will try and function outside of school. This reminds of a physics lab I was teaching years ago. They had to measure the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this mass of collision carts on a balance and a group came up to me and declared that the lab was impossible because the cart kept rolling off of the balance. The look they gave me when I walked over and put the car upside down on the balance lightens my spirit in dark times even today. One time a got to watch a 7 year old struggle with his socks for nearly 10 minutes, that would’ve been entertaining if he wasn’t related my brother’s children. But a 10 year old not grasping how books work is scary. Honestly, Learned Helplessness is not strong enough a term for it. I’ve been referring to it as Learned Incompetence, because that’s what it is. It’s mental Incompetence of the highest order.
Today in 3rd grade music class we were working on identifying the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this instruments together. Student asks for help so I repeat the ones we have already answered and tell him to listen for the other answers. Teacher comes to pick them up, student has done nothing because I wouldn’t help him? Like I am not going to write the answers for you. He says I didn’t know how to spell them, they are all written on the board. I’m so done with this helplessness. Today, my third grader asked if there was snow on the playground before lining up for recess. Our classroom view is OF the playground. I told her to just look out the window. This is just one of the many instances during my day. It is concerning 🫠 I remember endless days of writing sample essays on the projector labeling each part and explaining what each part is, how to write it, etc. Literally showing them exactly what to do. Only to walk around the room to blank Google docs and kids haven’t even written the header, and kids repeatedly asking me “where does the thesis statement go?” And “I don’t know what to write.”
I refused to write their essays for them and I can only do 2-3 minutes of one on one time with each student MAX. So it’s basically me just repeating everything I said ten minutes prior all over again: “good. That’s your intro, what do you think should come next” …” I don’t know mister” – kill me Had 3 different 4th grade students ask me what the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this O stands for in a question that asks to write F if the statement is fact and O if it’s an opinion. I refuse to tie shoes. The amount of urine everywhere on the floor of my second grade bathroom is disgusting- and I just know it is all over those shoelaces. Learn to tie them, ask a friend, shove them in your shoe, or walk around untied; I refuse to touch them. I don’t tie shoes. I will tell them to find a YouTube video and learn how to do it. Or ask their people to buy them shoes that don’t tie. Lord knows they can operate YouTube!
High school grade 12 university streamed kids “the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this LMS won’t let me submit. When I click on my file the submit button goes away” “Did you try moving the window?” “Huh?” “Pull the window up so the button is visible” “You can do that?” “Yes, and you can too” 7th grade. I noticed a student had been gone an awful long time after giving her permission to go to the bathroom. She is a good student, so I went to check it out. I turn the corner and she was just standing there, in front of the bathroom, staring at the door. I asked of she was okay and she said “Yea. The bathroom is locked.” She was just standing there the whole time. She honestly didn’t know what to do. Eventually, they’ll stop asking. It’ll take more effort to talk it through with me, in detail, than to just figure it out.
My most repeated phrase is “and how are you going to solve that problem?” They know where the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this pencils are, they see the stacks of chairs. But yet they bleat at me all day with “I don’t have a pencil! I don’t have a chair!” Learned helplessness is when someone learns they cannot avoid something bad, so they just take it. If you are curious, there are some old vids From Marty Seligmann’s original work available on YouTube. Look into Martin Seligman, he has devoted much of his career to this very topic. He posits that learned helplessness, pessimism, and depression are all connected and stem from a belief that you have no outcome over a situation. It’s really interesting. We are raising kids who have lawnmowers for parents. They mow down any obstacle in the child’s way, this means that the kid never learns any tools to deal with problems. Now they perceive they can’t handle a tough situation and shut down because they don’t know what to do. This makes them feel like they can’t control the outcome and they get depressed. The cycle repeats often which makes them pessimistic that anything can ever change.
It’s so weird that the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this entire generation is struggling with mental health right? Add in some spicy dashes of social media so that children are constantly comparing them selves and their lives with those of influencers they see in a carefully curated stream 24/7. Sucks man. If you’ve spent four years in an educational system run on the principle ‘everything not forbidden is compulsory’, initiative and original thinking are uncomfortable ideas. You turn to page 12 by accident, but what are the rules for turning back? You weren’t told to turn back, and doing something you weren’t told to do is strongly discouraged. I had a kid ask me to help her scrunch up her shirt sleeve when it had fallen over her hand. I said… this you need to be able to do on your own. Sometimes I have to stop myself from automatically helping because there is SO much they can do that they ask for me to do
I feel your pain, 5th here, my students are preparing to “defend” their right to go to 6th grade. I have some, when asked for an artifact of something they’ve learned I get “I don’t know” or “can you help me know this better?” To which I respond it’s your experiences. Only you can tell me why you deserve to move on. I’m also getting responses such as I don’t know in general. The level of laziness is unbelievable.Yeah, I had odd jobs from age 11 on. No allowance, my parents bought me the Sassy The Sass Is Strong With This One Stephie Shirt but in fact I love this things I needed. Same, but only during summer, at 12, and it was the 80’s. Made 4$ and hour mowing laws. I was riiiiooooch!!!!! But my family was poor, and I needed new kicks and digs for school, instead of bobos and crappy rough houser jeans from sears.
