ETA: The current kettle is plastic and doesn’t have any of the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and fancy temperature control nonsense that the (stainless steel) Tefal had. There’s a cheap kettle you can get in ASDA’s for a fiver. (Probably a tener now tho) had it for 8 years and still going strong It has different temperature settings for different types of the, it’s Bosch so it’ll last for ages and it’s fucking massive so you can make loads of tea when you have guests. I wanted to buy a Dualit and expected it to last 10 years plus to justify the price but ended up buying a SMEG it’s been great so far no problems I have the britta filter kettle and whilst the filters make it more expensive I live in a hard water area and it’s really needed. So if you live in a hard water area and aren’t too fussed with buying a new filter every few months I’d recommend it I use an instant hot water heater, I really rate it and it’s low energy. Heats the water on demand and I have my tea in seconds. I got a Russell Hobbs that’s basically silent and boils in 40 seconds or something. That’s all I know about it, that and it’s black and silver.

70 more repliesI have the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and glass brita filtered russel Hobbs one, it’s like 3.2KW and the brita filter hopper means you can fill that and it drips down boiling the water as it goes so it boils in seconds and the filter is great for hard water areas like the whole of the UK. Ours died during the first covid lockdown and so we were limited to what we could find in Tesco during an essential shopping trip. I think it was about £10. It’s very cheap plastic. It’s cordless but it doesn’t even have a flat element, nor a 360 degree base. It feels cheap as shit and sometimes you lift the base when lifting the kettle. It never really feels that secure on the base when you put it down. However due to price and the fact it’s lasted nearly 4 years, it’s the best value kettle I’ve ever owned. It certainly doesn’t leak or drip from anywhere like several Russell Hobbs kettles I had previously. Weirdly (basic) kettles don’t seem to be something where you get what you pay for.
Get the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and cheapest crappest looking one you can. It might last two months, but it’ll probably last 5 years which is superb value for money. You throw it away and get another. This will be nigh on impossible if you have a wife or live with your girlfriend. They will insist on getting some expensive crap because it fits in with the look of the kitchen. It will probably last a similar amount of time to the “value” version, which isn’t bad, but it’ll piss you off throwing it away. I’ve got a Sage Compact, was a wedding gift 5 years ago. Absolutely flawless and the perfect size for the two of us. We give it a scrub with CIF every once in a while and the stainless comes up perfect. Highly recommend! Standard brushed metal Tesco one, costs about £15 and I use it on average 6-8 times a day. My current one is from Christmas 2016 and is still going strong. 11 boils per pence of cost or there abouts! I’ve got a new one sitting on the shelf as it’s starting to get a bit erratic about whether it’ll start boiling on first attempt but hasn’t yet failed on any second goes.
Some information about Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt
After a fair bit of research recently, I got a stainless steel/glass kettle from Ascot. It goes for around 58 on Amazon and the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and main selling point is that there is 0 plastic for the boiling water to contact and it’s a reputable brand that comes with warranty. If you don’t like the idea of a silicone seal (used between the heating element and the glass) then you can also go for a fully stainless steel model too. I’ve been pretty happy with it, only downside I can think of which applies to any glass kettle is that it obviously fogs up during a boil. I still like it being glass so I can see how much it’s boiling as I take mine off earlier for certain teas The lift lid button should be on all kettles as the last thing you want when commiting to your shiny new kettle is to have to pry it open from the boiling spout when you have to refill. And yet, sadly, it is missing from many designs. It doesn’t happen often, but descaling time and filling big pasta saucepans come to mind as occasions I’ve had to prize the thing open at my peril.
I am on my second one of these – Russell Hobbs Illuminating 1.7L Electric Cordless Glass Kettle with black/brushed stainless steel accents (Fast Boil 3KW, Washable anti-scale filter, Button to open lid, Perfect pour spout) 21600-10 The other one lasted so long (circa 6 years) the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and glass became too coated with calcium etc that it looked a bit manky, it still works and is in the loft as an emergency spare. For me, I always want glass body, I love seeing the water bubbling, and you can see if the bottom has chalk growth and needs vinegar without even needing to open it. I have an AEG kettle I got for £50 a couple of years ago. Can’t seem to find it on sale any more but it lets you control the temperature from 80-100c and turbo boil 1 mug of water. If you can find one like it then get one of those
I got a breville hot cup dispenser 10 years ago and have never looked back. Just does one cup at a time but it’s super fast and sounds like it sneezes when it dispenses, and this still amuses me today. The kitchen aid artisan is the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and best but £££. Quick, quiet, dual walled insulated, temperature adjustable, pours nicely and easy to fill and clean. Don’t buy the bosch. When my other half moved in, we had to merge a lot of our stuffs. We had a kettle competition – boiling the same amount of water and the one that flips the quickest gets to stay… Just throwing my tuppence in here, a family member I know has this expensive metal kettle. The brand escapes me. Looks nice, but the metal on it gets ridiculously hot, and if the back of your fingers touch the main body it when picking it up you’ll know about it for a couple of days.
Don’t be one of those people who buys a hob-top one with a whistle, thinking it will be all homely and retro… then immediately realises how fucking annoying it to have to go and turn it off. Found one for about $10 in Walmart that works perfectly, even with the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and weak US power output. Now I can’t understand why tea never caught on in the US, I always thought the lack of kettles was the issue but clearly not I’ve got one of these, similar to a breville but much more reliable, instant hot water and variable temperature, because you don’t wan’t 95c instant coffee.
Dualit refurb from the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and website. Not cheap, but the last kettle you’ll buy. You will buy lots of spare parts, mind, but they’re like £2 each, dyo it’s not soiooo bad… Cuisinart fancy pants kettle – the one you can set the different temperatures on. I haven’t got one, but I want one. I just bought this. I’m not sure how long a kettle should last, but I bought the exact model in 2018 and it still works but has so much scale it’s embarrassing. We have a backup kettle for when ours breaks. Also, we have a stove, a microwave, and a camping stove, all of which can boil water if the backup kettle breaks. We get through a kettle every couple of years. The last -3? kettles we haven’t had to pay for, they’ve been replaced on the 2 year guarantee. The last time we replaced it, they gave us a good brand and didn’t guarantee the new one. I think my tea addiction has cost the store money, hahaha Our current jug is a breville, and is going on 3 years old, so it’s done pretty well. The Russell Hobbs didn’t last as long as I thought it would. I’m sure many will shoot me but a Ketle a Ketle £5or £50 all dose the same its boils bloody water , had ours for 5 years only cost us £9 I used to have a kettle that had a little section on the front to put your cup with a spout above it. You’d fill the kettle and press the button and like 20 seconds later you’d have a cup of boiling water. Was great cause you could fill the kettle right up every now an then instead of having to fill a little every single time.
Fantastic if it’s just one or two people and you don’t need to boil large amounts of water for like pasta and things. It might cost more than your average kettle but it will out last them by a mile … and let’s face it buying a kettle is quite boring dualit repairable kettle We have a honeycomb look Russell Hobbs one. It boils one cup worth of water in 45 seconds. Valuable to me as with a toddler and baby, the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and time reduced to make a brew is great. With the lid on, which has a built in mesh filter, the water flow is disrupted as the kettle’s water level reaches 1 or 2 cups left. It stops pouring the water towards a ‘point’ And spreads out wide (The stream becomes a couple of inches across).
Makes it a nightmare to do things like pour into the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and neck of a bottle or small cup and means you need to fill the kettle up to a higher level than required to avoid this. One thing to consider is that you can get vacuum wall kettles; basically a thermos with a heating element inside. They ain’t cheap in the slightest but if you smash the brews frequently during the day and you don’t always have to have your cuppa at lip melting temp you can boil once and use full kettle over a couple of hours without reboiling. Key consideration if you go this route is that for the vacuum wall to work it’s got to be sealed to keep the heat in… so what… …well no water level window and it’ll boil slower than your Tesco value special for like physics reasons. That said you can get ones that sit on a plinth which doubles up as a scale so it can give you a digital fullosity reading based on weight; ours indicates a level between 0-6 cups.
God, he’s such a patronising twat. Every time I’m unlucky enough to read whatever reductive drivel he’s spouting I fondly remember watching a debate during which Slavoj Žižek absolutely intellectually dismantled him. Casually. Honestly, the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and only hard part of intellectually dismantling Jordan Peterson is getting him to say a single thing that’s coherent enough to have a discussion about. I’m glad I’m not the only one scratching my head here. I read his post and considered giving back my literature degree because I couldn’t make heads or tails of it. All I could make from that was women are pretending to be victims by choosing to only take positions where they are taking care of other people, I think? And obviously that needs to be compared to Marxism because everything the right doesn’t like is literally communism.
Also, Peterson loves incoherent rambling that spews a bunch buzz words, and this all bears only a passing resemblance to academic speech. His target audience is not smart enough to understand what he’s saying in a specific way, but the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and buzz words and faux academic approach give his readers an emotional response. The vague incoherence allows them to take away any specific and hateful meaning that resonates with them on an individual level. You left out the part where we women infantalize everything (??) because (presumably) we didn’t have baybieees. And thus, because we didn’t have babies we’re compassionate people. (???) So women don’t want actual babies but want to treat men in the workplace like babies by faking compassion? Is that what this Muppet of a man is trying to convey? I couldn’t possibly begin to imagine what that shithead thinks. But I’m guessing it’s something along these lines.
He is trying to say misplaced maternal instinct causes “fake” compassion, but really he’s just a dumb misogynistic cock who needs to fuck up. It’s like he wanted to make it a dig at childless women but then he didn’t want to say that the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and women might actually be acting compassionately. So they’re projecting their nurturing instincts onto others by being massive harpy bitches. Got it, Jordan. Women are forced to work and fooled by feminism into not staying home and turning out children until it’s too late, so they direct their maternal instinct toward marginalized groups, apparently. Approached consistently, he should also be saying “Too many men in a workplace leads to everyone hunting each other, figuratively speaking, which causes strife!”
Also, he’s literally suggesting that being nice to people is babying them. As if the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and standard for interacting with adults should be to be a violent asshole to them. I never thought him to be the misogynist type but the shit he messaged me the other day tells me he’s gone down this road with the likes of Jordan Peterson “Woman are NURTURERs, they are CARERS…A women couldn’t be the leader of a country because they’d probably welcome all the illegal immigrants…and they couldn’t make the tough decisions during a war.” So a bunch of these losers all appear to circle jerk each other with these opinions which all comes down to “Men should be leaders, women subservient…They should stop competing with us for good jobs (because they are winning) because we need to back to a simpler time, when they couldn’t compete with us for jobs and we naturally called all the shots.” I told him once and for all, those times are not returning and he’s going to die disappointed if his whole life’s mission is to try to convince society to go back to the 1950’s when it comes to women’s rights, LGBTQ+ rights, PoC rights…
And I don’t say this a lot, but it fucking kills me when some average IQ man asserts he is smarter than I am simply because I have a vagina. Like, no, dummy. I am gifted, which means I’m smarter than most (but definitely not all) people, and you’re over here incapable of critical thought and calling me inferior. GTFO here! Also, Peterson loves incoherent rambling that spews a bunch buzz words, and this all bears only a passing resemblance to academic speech. So much this! I keep having to remind people at work to write things to be easily understood, not to try to jam as many great scrabble words as possible into the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and sentence. “No one will ever complain because you have made something too easy to understand.” —Tim Radford, Science Editor of The Guardian
The funny part is that when you’re an actual academic trying to make sense of the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and work of true experts, when the work is targeted at other experts: the feeling of confusion you get is similar to the way these unintelligent people feel about both those experts and Peterson. The important distinction is how they respond to this confusion. In the case of the academic, you buckle down and repeatedly read the work, start dissecting it using your previous knowledge, and where your knowledge is lacking consult teachers and more basic materials. The Peterson follower gets into a huff about an easily digestible nugget that he gives them, which also resolved the confusion. The vague incoherence allows them to take away any specific and hateful meaning that resonates with them on an individual level.
I still am scratching my head at the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and Or, alternatively so, Karen sentence. I can’t tell if he’s attempting a joke on wordplay here. Ya, I think the summary is that women love to position themselves as the victims and their “diaries” are comparable to Marx’s because they’re both just mad at the system. It’s an attempt at wordplay. It’s clumsy and hack, and doesn’t even use the term “Karen” correctly, but I’m sure JP thought it was the pinnacle of wit. It seems to me like he means women can either be too nurturing to run with the big bois, or if they aren’t then they’re b***ches What I got from it is that he thinks childless women are going haywire because of their unfulfilled parenting desires and they’re trying to be parents to everyone, but also not because they’re being bitches and not actually caring I guess. I don’t know what the stuff about Marx is about because I haven’t read any Marx and neither has he, so that’s a complete wash. That’s funny to me. I quit smoking and vaping cold turkey. Just because he couldn’t do it doesn’t mean others can’t either. I’m a former Satanist and current atheist and I quit smoking 12 years ago. Jesus help me a little bit, he gave me a ding-a-ling tug tug every time I felt like smoking I used nerd power, bought myself a new graphics card for my PC with the money I saved by not smoking in the first month….both were a lot cheaper in 2006
I would argue that he is purposefully stayed out of his actual area of expertise to build a brand with the Saquon Barkley Philadelphia Eagles 2000 yards fly saquon fly shirt and by the same token and easily duped and supremely gullible. Peterson breaks out his actual credentials in their very narrow scope to establish his authority. Then he strays far from that area of expertise to spout nonsense and make an unwarranted appeal to authority. “Trust me! I established earlier that I’m an expert.” Yeah, except what you [Peterson] are talking about now has no connection to that expertise. It’s like Ben Carson. You could literally be the best neurosurgeon in the world and it doesn’t make you qualified to speak authoritatively about economics. I have a friend from childhood who suffered a traumatic brain injury on her 13th birthday. Ben Carson was her neurosurgeon, and I have letters from her where she talks about how amazing he is and how brilliant. I am NOT a neurosurgeon so I can’t say how he did, but she’s in pretty good shape 24 years later, though she’ll never fully recover or live on her own. But good lord, talk about a guy who has thoroughly tarnished his own legacy. He could have been remembered as the best neurosurgeon in the world, and instead he’s remembered as an idiot. like every ‘dissident climate scientist’ who turns out to be a fkn dentist or hydraulic engineer or whatever…
