That being said, the Santa knows you’ve been a knob merry christmas T-Shirt also I will do this crux of disagreement in this thread are the honest people who said they were poly at the start of the relationship vs everyone else’s experience of expecting to be monogamous because it was assumed. Wether you agree with that or not, that is the fact. You are honest enough to establish who you are from the beginning. Leave, immediately. If they propose an open relationship, they’re already looking at other horses to saddle. It’ll evolve to cheating real quick. Im the SO in this situation, i just think humans shouldn’t be limited to the amount of love they can give (in terms of amount of people and whom they identify as, but have a hard limit on age, 18 years old minimum, any younger is a crime), i have also had a lot of experience in this, all have ended as you’d expect, however, my current partner, whom im engaged with and have 2 kids with, has agreed to allow me to have fun online but no relationships, when we discussed further later on, they said they would reconsider after a handful of years.

So now we keep our relationship closed and i have some extra fun from time to time but i treat my fiance first and make them happy first. If the Santa knows you’ve been a knob merry christmas T-Shirt also I will do this relationship changes then it does, but if it doesn’t then i guess im throwing away my “Fuck It” list. Everyone on this sub is so scared. Go ask the same question on ‘ask Reddit after dark’ and you will get wildly different answers from people that aren’t so “stuck in the mud”. Break up. That might seem like a hasty decision, but if they are asking for an open relationship, then they are communicating that the relationship is no longer meeting their needs and if they feel the solution is a person outside of the relationship, then they can pursue that without me being a safety net to fall back on. I do not think the ‘open relationship’ thing works. I do believe there is lots of different reasons and I think if you’re solid enough you can allow other people into your relationship but I think for it to work for real is very rare.
