The manager has more than enough time to account of OP’s absence. Dear boss, I will be on vacation from X to Y. I will be camping in a remote area with no cell service, so I will not be taking calls or emails. See you when I get back. I took 21 days one time after working like 6 days a week for a few years. The company tried to use the old “we only ever allow a week around here.” And they also said, “your responsibilities are going to change around here.” I told them “I have this Vacation time saved up, I am using it for big life event A, Family gathering B and C. Pay me or not, I’m still going.” And I went. They changed their tune about how disposable I was when the store sales dipped without me there. Travel is my passion and one of the primary reasons I ended up taking a job in state government is because of the vacation time you get. I have taken 8 trips of more than 3 weeks, 3 of them have been 5-6 weeks. I used to be a supervisory manager and had taken several of these long trips with no problems. My team was great and there were no problems when I did this.

Fortunately HR felt differently. They said that she could deny vacation time if their was a valid business issue that would result because of the Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion Shirt In addition,I will do this specific dates conflicting with business requirements but not because it is too long. No issues since then. U needed to work several years 6days a week to get a 3 weeks vacation??? American companys are so shit.. i could go to a 21dqys vacation without problem if i announce it like 1 month ago do they can plan around it … and this every year and i still have another 21 days in a row to choose as vacation
