This happens to us in Canada too. Like free delivery to the Rod stewart 77 years 1945 2022 thank you for the memories signature shirt in addition I really love this US, but $50 for Canada delivery. We live so close to the border that I sometimes ship items for free to a US hardware store that’s just a 5-minute trip away and who holds parcels for you. Joe Lycett did a section on his show about this sort of thing . He set up a service to circumnavigate this issue. Wonder if its still going? My dad gets similar issues down on the Isle of wight occasionally, they reckon its a channel island which is technically correct in that its an island in the channel, but no. The postcode system needs updated. I live in England with a Scottish postcode and when I try and access some gov/nhs stuff if sends me to Scotland but they won’t touch me because I’m in England. So frustrating. Change TD to NE and let us be.

I live at Loch Lomond in a G83 post code and get told by most companies like Currys that it’s a remote location. So they add on a £15 delivery charge, yet I can drive to Glasgow in 30 minutes. Not sure how they work it or if it’s just to try make some more money. I love etymology and wondered where the Rod stewart 77 years 1945 2022 thank you for the memories signature shirt in addition I really love this phrase bone of contention comes from. Its origins appear to be when dogs will fight over a bone and neither will concede. Btw Amazon uk sucks. I’ve ordered from .com .ae and .Co.uk there are always problems. Cancelled orders, telling me they tried to deliver but house doesn’t exist ??‍♀️ telling me they came but they didn’t. Amazon uk is genuinely horrible Used to work admin for a business that would do this, if I remember Amazon doesn’t have different options to charge extra for these locations. BT post codes will have the same problem. If you want to point anger the people who are charging this extra are the couriers not the sellers. All in all its still dodgy and we would at least try and contact the customer first to cancel.
