Since you brought up kids as a factor: Make sure you have life term insurance. There’s a million on YouTube, and many on Death I don’t know if its something you can truly get over but it is definitely possible to find distractions. As someone who grew up with an intense fear of death, I’ve been able to find distractions that I’ve considered much worse than death like my severe social anxiety, world problems and working a low paying job. Not good distractions granted but in a way they help me see death as not such a bad thing. I mean not enough to end myself but still seeing it in a more positive light.
