I really regret not going for it now dont think you have loads of time you might not have Long story as short as possible: I did think I wanted children when I was younger because I thought it checked some kind of milestone box that ALL adults do. What ended up happening is I got involved with an intimate partner who was an emotional and financial abuser. He kept telling me we couldn’t move forward in life with any of the usual milestones (marriage/home/kids) because I wasn’t good enough and/or I would be bad at them, and I believed him for almost ten years. Luckily one day I woke up and got away and started living my best life. When I met and decided to marry my now husband, he gave me the choice of if we had kids or not. He is older and he already raised children, but he said if I needed it, we would do it. I had the choice between arbitrarily having a kid to spite someone who is no longer in my life, or to heal from the trauma. I chose to heal.
