But I don’t know why OP thinks it’s less competitive. Country music releases have been strong and consistent recently. Radio success sure but if we did a poll or looked at sales across different genres, country music has the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this smallest audience and record sales. Most people I know say they listen to anything other than country. Can you name five current country artists in the same league as Taylor Swift, Beyonce or Adele. The answer is no. Given all the crossover, this sounds like quite a subjective statement.. but we get it. You don’t like country. Where i live you are lucky if someone set up a psytrance/edm/rave party in the woods with like 50ppl. And yet we have a country festival every year…

Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400, hoodie, tank top, long sleeve tee

“Where you live” that makes sense so somewhere in the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this south which is small segment of the population. I live in the south too and that is not the case here. Sure country lovers exist but again it’s a small segment of the population unless we are talking about small rural parts The difference is she has star power to come in and dominate in a short time horizon, turning a bunch of new people onto her and country (or her version of it) as a genre. The next billion dollar tour could be Beyoncé, because of the move to expand the brand to untapped markets. Post is also from Texas, Lana is a weird case she’s got such a cult following fans just pick up whatever she’s doing. I was a bit Lana fan years ago but haven’t listened to anything recent. I think switching to country would be a mistake on Lana’s part. She is doing great as a pop artist. She is consistently nominated for awards and has a huge following
It’s basically this. Expanding the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this brand to new markets + keeping things interesting for her while doing it + who doesn’t like more money? Yeah because there’s absolutely no competition among female artists in country music and no resistance against a black woman changing genres from soul to country. Should be easy. Celebrities/musicians on the level of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Adele don’t do things because they’re afraid of competition. They can tour and sell out no matter what is happening. The Grammy’s work by people making votes and many people have said they don’t vote for Beyoncé for AOTY not because of her talent (or they think she has a lack there of) but because they feel like she’s too smug/uppity aka they want to “take her down a notch.”

Where to buy this Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400

I implore you to look at how black artists have their music labeled how only recently black artists have been allowed to just be “pop.” She’s from Texas. One of the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this most country places in the US. Why is this so hard to believe for yall that she’s acknowledging her roots. No one is disputing that she can tour or sell out concerts. The fact still remains, completion is as fierce as it has ever been in R&B and Pop hence the well timed and convenient switch to country. Yes, she has the most Grammies, which is great. Why she she has never won the album of the year is debatable, some will argue that another artist deserved it more which may be true . Taste is subjective. It has nothing to do with the grammies thinking she is snooty, as you claim. I think that is just an excuse. There are snootier artists out there who have won AOTY. This is my take, we can agree to disagree. The amount of karma I have has got nothing to do with it. Or it could be that I don’t make shit posts.
I can’t have a discussion with you about things you don’t understand anyway. I don’t want you to agree with me. I don’t expect you to. I don’t care about your take further than your original post. I honestly just don’t feel like discussing racism in the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this music industry with someone who I don’t know the race of and based on what you follow an account called “black people gifs” and are in a South Park subs. None of these things mean you’re racist but I just don’t want to have a discussion about it with someone I don’t know. We discussed the music aspect. I know the industry you maybe don’t. I’m not asking. The odds of me actually have a productive conversation with you are slim because you’ll likely take it as me trying to get you to agree with me, but I don’t care that much so I just told you I agree to disagree which is also what you said so guess it’s a cop out from both of us.
I love how you are investing a lot of time in analyzing my profile, you flatter me. I have not bothered to look at yours btw, it’s irrelevant as far as I am concerned .I am not sure if you understand what the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this term agree to disagree means. We can have different POV’s but a meaningful discussion. The subs I follow like South Park a popular tv show that has been running since the 90’s has got nothing to do with the discussion at hand lol ‘Beyoncé’ is a brand, a business. She’s taking the enterprise to new markets, increasing her customer pool (listeners/fans). This is a move to grow ‘Beyoncé’. Yeah and ive noticed the change in line dancing, it’s more 2 step/ hip hop . So wondered if she was jumping on that. What has she to be scared about. She is so famous albums get sold before anyone hears them and are spoken about on radio for weeks before release.
Taylor is akready bigger, olivia is better, adele is lazy and very different. The rest arent really in same league. Competition is definitely a big part of the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this music world no matter how big you get. Multiple Grammy winning artists still experience disappointment after a loss and try to do better. They work hard at what they do so why wouldn’t they . Talylor Swift spoke openly about her devastating losing was in her documentary, and it’s true for most artists. The rest of the artists may not have the same experience as Beyonce . She has been in the industry for longer but those new artists are scooping up awards and giving her a run for her money. What do you disagree with exactly? If any artist thinks they have achieved the level of success they were aiming for as far as Grammy wins go they can always pull out of the race completely and give other artists a chance. So there is that. Oprah pulled out and decided to give other talk show hosts a chance after being consistently nominated best Talk Show Host for many years. So again it’s not just about sales it’s about the accolades and wins. People who listen to country are older than the typical pop/r&b fan and therefore less prone to just download the music but instead buy it. It is clever to focus on that market.
I call it the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this billy-ray cyrrus effect, achy breaky heart was the first time he repopularized country in pop music and we’re now living in the second coming of cyrrus with the effects of old town road. It’s not about sales or the publicity her albums bring her it’s about winning. Multiple Grammy winning artists still experience disappointment after a loss. They work hard on their music in the hopes that the public will like what they put out so why wouldn’t they be disappointed. Taylor Swift one of the most successful musicians of the decade spoke openly about her disappointment after losing. She strived to do better and it paid off. I think once an artist wins they don’t want to stop there, they want to keep the momentum going. This is part of the reason MJ fell into depression. He wanted to achieve the same success he did during the Thriller era
vMy girlfriend hasn’t been interested in sex, shes going through a lot right now so I understand. She swears it’s not me and that shes super attracted to me but just hasn’t been in the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this mood because of other stress. Yeah… Doesn’t matter. My brain won’t stop going back to me not doing something right or her losing interest in me and it nags at me every day. The worst part is my girl is so fucking hot. It’s like being around a model who gets naked in front of you all the time but I dont touch her because now it’s like a game where I don’t want to come on too strong or be too needy because that’s a turn off so I’m just like, waiting for her to get her mojo back… umm, she’s supposed to care about your feelings as your partner. if her being naked in front of you is frustrating you she should at least know that she’s doing it.
i think sex for women is kind of draining because women have less control during sex because they are the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this recipient of it. so in situations where tons of stuff requires her focus and stability to execute work/obligations correctly she has to gain control back by cutting off any dynamic that throws off her equilibrium. she should be aware of this and try to not put on too many things on her plate and to be able to label the stress and to disperse it in a healthy way. everybody has to learn this and since you are there to support her, the feedback doesn’t get through to her because you’re kind of absorbing the blow. not jeopardizing her relationship with you should be higher priority for her. also, my guess (i have no idea of your personal dynamic with her) is sex would be way less overwhelming for her if it’s not done in a way with you pouring all of your frustration and stress into her body. if she feels like she’s in more control and the experience throws her equilibrium off less she will probably be more willing to do it. She says she will come to me when shes ready. Maybe that’s the control thing. But, she says we are going to have sex sometimes or do other things and gets completely sidetracked and I can tell she just isn’t in the mood anymore when the time comes so I leave it be. We have argued about it a couple times already and that makes things worse so I just avoid it altogether. Also, the stress shes going through is out of her control at the moment. Only time is going to fix what has happened. So, Idk.
Broken up recently with a similar situation. Things were great, then more and more distant then the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this no sex and body issues. Asked if she needed space, broken up with as she felt guilty for being too emotionally and physically absent. Claimed it had nothing to do with me and she likes me still, wants to be friends in the future but can’t commit to a relationship and I deserve better blah blah. Havent talked in 3 weeks. all these people being so dramatic for men saying we can’t share our feelings and are so oppressed are kidding themselves. I could very easily go to someone and talk about my feelings. If you can’t do that it’s just your social skills If this mostly happens in your relationships it’s worth investigating and learning more about attachment styles.
I read a while ago that women are valued for what they are like beautiful, kind, loving, etc, and men are valued for what they do like protect, provide, achieve, etc. That tallies so much with my experience and perception of the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this world that it often makes me feel like I have no intrinsic worth or value. I’m currently taking a break from work due to a mental health breakdown late last year and it’s left me feeling pretty direction and value-less. I’m working on it, and reading “Will to Change” by Bell Hooks has made me feel at least like I’m not totally invisible or alone in this. My wife is great and supportive, and I know a lot of it is in my head, but yeah I do feel quite shit about myself.
Sounds like you need to stop caring about satisfying other people and do you.. its give and take in every relationship.. if you aren’t getting back what you give them move on from the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this relationship… also this is human nature and people will take advantage if you let them, know your worth and be comfortable and confident about yourself Dude I have such anxiety about my work that i have to tranquilize myself to get 4 hours of sleep. Then I am sluggish all day because of lack of sleep. I’d say I am just shy of bat shit crazy, but that’s my clinical assesment. There are times where you will meet people where your interactions are 100% transactional. Maybe it’s a bods that pays you for work or a stranger that let’s you park in their driveway as long as you trim the sidewalk. Maybe it’s a coworker who only ever talks to you for help with payroll information. These relationships exist and there’s nothing wrong with that. Of course you can have a transactional relationship where the person is genuinely just using you without anything in return, but unless it’s a requirement like a job YOU are the one that needs to change. You control what people you interact with. And to be honest I’d you’re coming away from every relationship with anyone you meet and think “wow that person sure did use me a lot” than chances are you’re either horrible at choosing good people to be around or there’s something else we aren’t aware of that you aren’t sharing.
I’m not saying you’re a bad person who is at fault, but ypu are 100% in control of how these relationships work out. If you choose to hang around someone even after they show that they aren’t interested in anything else but your services that’s on you. It’s the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this meme where someone wonders why everyone doesn’t like them or why they can’t make friends or why they can’t find long lasting relationships. If you find yourself at the same conclusion time and time and time again, it’s you, not them. The world can’t constantly be at fault, the world can’t constantly be wrong. There are WAYYY too many people for all of them in your life to ONLY be using you with nothing in return It’s not your fault in that you are doing anything malicious or harmful, nor are you in the wrong here in any way, but you are at fault. Something needs to change and the only people who can help you with that is a therapist or yourself, and friends if you have them Based on their flippant comment, probably anything a man says or does that they, or the people they surround themselves with, deem as negative or unwanted.
How insufferable you are. This has literally nothing to do with it, and you still feel the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this need to bring it up. My mental health is extremely fragile. The last few years have been very though indeed. But I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. I tell myself to be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:13-14) I’ve accepted the way the world is now. There is nothing that can be done to change it or those people around you. I’m going to be honest I do not like people, and not only that but have completely gave up on “dating” or anything similar. My main goal in all my life now. I will put every ounce of effort and energy into this one thing and nothing in the world will stop me and every thought in my mind is revolved around the idea of making as. Much. Money. As. Possible.
Seriously. The only thing I want in my life is to make as much money as humanly possible. As much as I can make and that way I can have more power and control over my life. And I’m not talking about a measly $100k – $300k salary. That’s not money lol Man it’s a good thing these comment threads are making a real difference or else society might really be in trouble. Thanks happy people of reddit, not sure what we’d do without you. What the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this fuck do you mean? So many of us don’t have anyone to discuss our mental health with so we do it anonymously. It’s just about not feeling alone. Not fragile at all Married for 32 years 4 kids I ran everything and took care of everything. My decision was final I opened my restaurant against my wife’s wishes 34 years later I sold it. I wanted a divorce about 6 years ago. I stayed till my kids graduated college. I put a $ 225k addition on my house from a 3-bedroom ranch to a 6-bedroom house against her wishes. Don’t let a woman stop your dreams. She never wanted the divorce she realized how good she had it but never appreciated me.
I am mentally indestructible. I go to the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this gym, I do hard things, and I don’t let myself get satisfied until I complete or win a goal. This thread makes me curl up in the fetal position on the floor sucking my thumb wearing an adult diaper. Some come give boo boo a hug !!! Very difficult but never let people know or show it. Don’t know why just can’t really. Best…….secret……….ever Still depressed from every other thing in life and wanna end it so bad just too much of a pussy to go through with it Pretty bad. I know I am getting old, but my body is quickly breaking down. I never talk about it and never will. I don’t feel stress. I tend to be in a fairly constant state of happiness and contentedness. Had a bad spell when I got divorced and still miss my wife, but that was years ago and I’m happy with my life. It’s funny. When it’s quiet I swear I’m one second away from headbutting everyone around me into unconsciousness. It’s been a rough couple of months. Just prior to Christmas I went through a bit of a heartbreak that triggered a massive relapse of my depression that hadn’t affected me for a while ended up quitting my job because I couldn’t face leaving the house. I’ve definitely turned a corner as of late but it was a rough Christmas and start to the new year, did more crying in a relatively short period than I can remember.
Depression isn’t a constant part of my life but it’s bad when it hits. I have persistent anxiety which is more constant but I deal with it the Raiders-You-Might-Beat-Us-On-The-Field-But-We_ll-Beat-You-In-The-Parking-Lot-Shirt-0-400×400 besides I will buy this best I can. My mental health is doing pretty okay as of recently, i’ve started to finally let go of things i can’t gripe or change. My overthinking is still there but i tend to also let go much more often. Still insecure about many things, but try to talk about that with my thankfully understanding and wonderful girlfriend. Had a few rough years and since they’ve come to an end i seem to relearn on how to human again instead of constantly being “on” whenever i’m out in public. I have a bunch of health problems right now and am constantly going to doctors so my mental health is at an all time low. In other words, it’s very fragile right now More fragile than I used to think. I always thought that because of my childhood that I had become hardened and was mentally really strong but I have noticed that if someone raises their voice or any other form of confrontation I just break down and sometimes even start crying I’m one incident away from having a full blown Anxiety attack meltdown. I get anxious even thinking about it. I’m on meds and also legal self medication and have been for twenty years. I’d like to fucking relax. Not great, started my own business and I get great satisfaction from it, but I’ve had about 6 months of rolling constant bad luck which are all totally out of m control and having to work incredibly hard long days, I’ve only had 4 days off since July 23 and currently on my 5th 7 day work week and have another 3 to go due to the bad luck. I don’t like talking to my partner about it so just put on a brave face. I’ve found I go through troughs of feeling really down but then I just accept it is what it is, the bad luck will end eventually and pick myself back up and get on with it.
