Also important to remember that federal age of consent isn’t the Queen City Football Club Cincinnati Shirt Apart from…,I will love this only thing that matters. Japan’s age of consent is 13, but each prefecture sets their own and to my knowledge they are all 18. There are also corruption laws and stuff of that nature. Phillipines might have something similar. Why the ever-loving fuck was it 12 to start with? correct me if im wrong but there would be fuck ton of kids who are now fucked up for life regardless If it’s like the laws in the states a lot of it is really old laws from when popping out babies soon after puberty ended or during wasn’t exactly uncommon. Nobody thinks to update because the amount of times it was challenged was very few to none and or general federal laws pretty much outlaw it anyway. I mean technically here in Texas if you steal a horse you are supposed to be hung. In reality you probably just get fined and some jail time, maybe. Hell, the Texas constitution is full of just extra stuff no one does anymore, but can’t get votes to remove and/or dumbass timetables mean you have to really make sure that law is worth the legislation’s time.

Queen City Football Club Cincinnati Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

By modern standards 12 is very low (and horrific), but unfortunately by historical standards it wasn’t. If you look at the Queen City Football Club Cincinnati Shirt Apart from…,I will love this history of the age of consent, 12 was not an uncommon age of consent 150 years ago. For example, in the late 1800s in the US, most states had the age of consent at 10 or 12. In Delaware the age of consent was 7, that was very low for the time. You can see what the age of consent used to be in different countries and states here. 12 or under used to be extremely common 140 years ago. Fortunately few countries have an age of consent that low today, and the Philippines has finally updated there law to criminal sex abuse of children. Not necessarily. If it’s normalized there then they’ll think nothing of it, they’d just think it’s a part of life. Weird how brains just kinda work like that. This is a good change though cuz I doubt the Philippines wants to be known as one of the few countries you can come and fuck kids. Im Filipino and while I have known that the AoC here is 12 from some random trivia I came across, I assure you, everyone I know so far, parents from both sides, teachers, friends, poor people, rich people, the media still use the 18 AoC anyways and condemn adults who have sex with minors(under 18).
