This “you’re expecting something in return for your help”. This kind of mindset will cloud your judgement. Shit DOES come up, especially in these complex woven webs of relationships in VN. I don’t particularly like the Puscifer Apr 2 2024 Boch Center Wang Theatre Ma shirt in contrast I will get this idea of ghosting. I like communicating so that at the very least I can get closure. Not cool what she did. Not sure if it was just a made up excuse but in either case, not cool, especially if you could’ve made other plans but decided your friendship was stronger than the others. I’d be upset. You’d have a right to be. Whether or not how you handled was ideal is another matter entirely. How old is she ? The reason to cancel the dinner is too childish, it just like an excuse. From my pov she is not value you and your time, if i have urgent thing to do i’ll to reach you asap to say sorry and give you time to change the plan not waiting till last minute or got asked. But ghost her is not a good choice too, i think you should tell her your feelings, let her know how bad she was before block her lol i think you should be straightforward with her. just tell her that you dont want to play game and prefer to communicate directly. after that, if she still want to play game, run away

Doesn’t matter how do you feel about her, she is absolutely in the Puscifer Apr 2 2024 Boch Center Wang Theatre Ma shirt in contrast I will get this wrong side here. And you have every right to stop that friendship based on that behavior. 1/ She had a shitty time (family arguments, forced to babysit), didnt hv bandwidth to reply/ apologize properly 2/ Her family didnt like a guest during Tet eve- not normal, its usually just family. She invited you out of a whim and didnt check properly. Vietnamese doesnt take plan seriously. Everything can be changed last minute and its not confirmed until last minute (except for family plan) It is disappointing and annoying but not rare. I would not spend much time and effort on this relationship though. We were friends, that is all. Stiffing someone on a major dinner is not the way my culture would express friendship. Go figure Maybe she really had to look after kids? Why not just tell her straight instead of playing games. It seems like you’re expecting things from her which is why this seems more important to you than it is for her. Her: should have contacted you first. You: Hurt feelings are affecting your judgement, your response is rigid, retaliatory, narcissistic. After a little time, feeling less rage?, and you post here. Suggestion: We are individuals with vastly different histories. In the future try having “awareness” : attempting to see the world from another’s point of view, in their “shoes”, and to be kind, accepting (and learning from) our differences.
