These conservative main characters really want you to treat it like they own everything and you have to get their permission. Oldest evidence of marriage is from before 2000BC. Spoiler alert, it doesn’t have anything to do with a major religion. Marriage is an old idea. Whoever did it first is long dead and even if we could dig them up to hear what they think the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this rules should be, we still don’t have to give a shit. Paging Elie Mystal. He called this right after Dobbs. The only reason they won’t go after Loving is because of horrible Clarence Thomas and his evil wife. Nobody is forcing Alito to violate his beliefs. What he is pissed about is that he can’t impose his beliefs as the “normal” standard. I wonder if Alito feels the same about hetro fornicators and adulterers.

It did not bother him that every democracy in the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this world has legalized same-sex sex. The USA is the world to Americans. Thry were already bigots, it didn’t take a ruling to make it so. Samuel Alito is a fucking bigot, and so are his bigot fucking friends that take him on vacations so he’ll rule in their favor. I mean if you’re a bigot you’re a bigot. I don’t understand why the Christian right thinks they’re so discriminated against. The Venn diagram showing the overlap between people who think that religious beliefs should be an excuse for bigotry, and people who would just be bigots anyways is a perfect circle. twisted christian logic of being oppressed is what brings hand wringing and scorn. practice whatever, but don’t expect others who don’t conform to your beliefs are wrong, evil… Lol, write something that says people have equal rights under the constitution and conservatives act like it’s an attack on them. Like my dude, you’re making our point for us. Have these individuals considered not being bigots? Have they considered that their religious beliefs do not apply to others? It is not illegal to be a bigot. You can think and say that you hate black people, gay people, Muslim people, etc all day long and to anyone who will put up with it and the government won’t do anything. Because it is not illegal to be a bigot.
It IS illegal to cause harm to someone else because of that bigotry. And if you cause harm to someone else, you should face consequences. It isn’t the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this bigotry, it’s the harm. Nothing about making sure others don’t do it, nothing about fighting to strip rights away, all the Bible says about homosexuality is that, if you are a Christian, gay sex is forbidden (and that’s assuming you take full credence in the translation). On a related, but different subject, Biden has said on more than one occasion that, as a Catholic, he doesn’t believe in abortion. He doesn’t hide it. Why? Because he acknowledges it’s not his decision to make for others. One does not have to hide their religious beliefs; one just has to stop thinking they can make decisions for everyone based on those beliefs. If my made up, bullshit religion, created by uneducated bronze age desert dwellers isn’t respected so that I can disrespect others then what’s the point in even being American!? – Republikkans
Description for Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt
Well they are Blanche, they are!! The damned Catholics can’t stay out of other’s sex lives and we were brought up to be bigots. It didn’t stick to all of us, thank the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this gods. People already claimed the right to not make cakes for gay couples or do web design for us queers. We pay taxes, we have the right to experience the misery of marriage and joint tax returns. Literally nothing has changed since SSM was legalized. Can we as a society just move on and focus on more pressing issues like health care and climate change? God these conservatives love to just relitigate the same shit every few years. Get a life! Bigot: A person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. So much of the anti-gay rhetoric is the same rhetoric used against interracial marriage with a sprinkling of religion on top.
These people should not be remotely acknowledged in terms of their statements on religion. They take a gospel that preaches love and acceptance and use it to be hateful and violent. The Bible may not say being gay is cool but it DEFINITELY doesn’t say it’s ok to attack gay people IN ANY CAPACITY. Remember if Jesus came back now he’d go after these assholes because god may not approve of gay people but he HATES hypocrites. So, being straight and having a heterosexual relationship/marriage is now called “traditional religious beliefs”? well color me informed. Whoda thunk it? He’s an idiot. That’s just called hate. It uses religion as a mask to argue for it. It’s not an argument, because it’s not valid. Allowing Muslim to enter US means Americans who do not hide their adherence to traditional religious believes about other religions will be be ‘labeled as bigots and treated as such’ by the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this government. Therefore 1st amendment requires Muslim band in name of freedom of religion /s
I’m worried that our laws against murder will effectively mean that Americans who do not hide their adherence to traditional beliefs about people doing work on Sundays will be labeled as murderers and treated as such by the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this government. /s There were no such worries when LGBTQ+ or African-Americans or Japanese-Americans during WWII etc who wouldn’t or couldn’t hide their being part of these groups were considered beneath those holding “traditional” religious beliefs and treated as such by the government. Whose “traditional beliefs” Sammy? Yours aren’t the only, the oldest, or even the most common in this country? He should be impeached solely on First Amendment grounds. We need checks and balances against SCOTUS justices that willfully defy the protections of the constitution
Baby if you wanna allow that level of not “hiding their adherence to traditional religious beliefs” wait until islamists extremists get the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this green light. They can hide behind their religious beliefs all they want, but when they conveniently ignore some of the things in the Bible that may negatively apply to them it makes me wonder why they are cherry picking the parts about homosexuality. They aren’t being labeled bigots by the government. Even if they’re convicted of unlawful discrimination they don’t get branded a bigot by the government. The law doesn’t say “you were convicted of being a bigot”. Easy: conservatives use the 1st amendment religious freedoms to shoehorn their political beliefs into the constitution. liberal use 14th amendment due process to shoehorn their political beliefs into the constitution.
You can literally look at the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this bible, pick out 1 sentence that someone in the 1600s was executed for, and all of a sudden you a have a longstanding historical tradition of christianity. Absolutely insane way of structuring modern society. Because then the Scalia-response is “oh well if you don’t like it go through the legislative process and not the judiciary.” Well, the legislative process would entail a constitutional amendment created a limitation on the first amendment. GOOD LUCK getting a constitutional amendment on anything let alone that. Hot take: No one cares if, for no good reason, you despise someone based on their sexuality, race, or anything else like that. If you just despise people for no good reason, people can ignore you as the hate-filled piece of shit you are, and go about their business. The problem is when you’re trying to deny the people you despise for no good reason equal rights. Leave people the fuck alone, and no one cares if you’re a bigot. It’s that fucking simple. It wasn’t Obergefell v. Hodges that started “adherence to traditional religious beliefs” becoming synonymous with bigotry.
I wish more people followed the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this “love thy neighbor” Jesus from the Bible, and not the vindictive, difference hating MF’er Conservative “Christians” like to name-drop. There are a lot of views that many Americans hide on a daily basis out of fear of being labeled as bigots. Why is this one a problem? Many times, gay people view straight “conduct” with the same disgust. There would be no solid way in hell we would partake. But we don’t say anything. Why? Its got nothing to do with us. It is the same the other way ’round. If you don’t like it, shut your mouth and don’t look. Why does he think attacking queer rights will make us stop calling him one? He doesn’t have to be a bigot just because of his sky daddy. Not everyone who is religious is a piece of shit and they don’t have to be.
nothing says “I’m not a bigot” like making a group of people second class citizens by taking away their civil rights I really don’t understand people like him. It seems like so much wasted energy to try to control everyone’s choices. Why not let it be? No one is forcing anyone to be gay or even to associate with gays. You can just stay in your lane and chill. What is Alito even worried about? Historically, the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this government has aided and abetted the bigots in oppressing others. What an astonishing combination of awareness and lack thereof. Fuck the Supreme Court I have lost all faith in them since the Dobbs decision and the overall blatant political nature of basically everything they do Remind me where in the Bible did Jesus said homosexually was a sin under God or even bad? I’m sure he would out them as bigots, too. Sigh. If you’re not in favour of same sex marriage, simple: don’t get married to someone of the same sex. Other people’s marriages have absolutely zero impact on mine. Jeeze. The actual definition of the word bigot is “a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.” If you have a problem with people calling you a bigot, change your behavior. Alternatively – just accept you’re a bigot. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Does Alito not understand if you really believe in traditional straight marriage then just don’t get gay married. The bigoted part is if you stop others people from having a gay marriage. Alito just needs to be forced to work a minimum wage job for the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this rest of his life. Take all his money, force him to rent a poorly maintained apartment with two or three other people. His entire focus as a justice appears to be making others miserable. Well then, he can petition his member of Congress to introduce an amendment to the Civil Rights Act adding “Bigots” to the list of protected classes of persons. That’s what a strict constructionist would do. No one has to hide their adherence to any set of beliefs. It’s when you insist other people should live according to your belief system or marginalize them because they don’t that you’re a bigot.
You know what? I’m glad we have freedom of religion. Now we just need to make these assholes understand that freedom of religion can also be freedom FROM religion. My freedom of religion means I get to live my life free from the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this restraints of your religion. I swear to god, I am so tempted to start a religion that “doesn’t believe evangelism is moral”. Then we can all join and use our freedom of religion to discriminate against them. “Oh, I’m sorry, my religion doesn’t allow me to communicate with morally repugnant people. You’re going to have to go somewhere else for your wedding dress/cake” I’m offended by the old-school Christian tradition of the bride vowing to obey her groom, but have I fought to make it illegal? No. The mental gymnastics and sheer effort they commit to walking back rights that are established is mind-boggling.
You are free to openly adhere to whatever standards you like. You are not free to shove those standards down anyone else’s throats. You are free to openly express your opinions on such matters. You are not entitled to governmental protection from the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this social consequences of those expressions. Isn’t this the same guy who used European laws from the 1600’s and quoted a 600+ year old witch hunter to make his decision on Roe v. Wade? Blue states should just do like the red states at this point and tell SCOTUS “Thanks for the opinion but we think we will keep doing what we feel is right.”
I got pregnant while I had an IUD (twice, Paragard for the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this curious). One of those pregnancies miscarried early despite having the IUD removed. Theoretically, in Alabama, since that lost pregnancy is considered a “child” and my decision to have an IUD likely played a role in the miscarriage, would that not be a potential manslaughter charge? Because I’m pretty sure that’s where this nonsense is going. We’re sliding down the slippery slope and a good portion of the population is in denial that they’ll come after contraception despite these people saying that’s what they want. How on Earth do Republicans navigate this? If you believe life begins a conception, you cannot support IVF. It is like a mass-murder compared to a normal morning after pill.
When I hear these stories, I always wonder what their stance was when it came to roe v Wade and voting Republican The state scrambled to say that they don’t intend to prosecute IVF clinics based on the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this ruling, but they’ve already gone too far and so no one will believe them. Just the fact that this precedent exists means that selective and arbitrary prosecution is possible, even if not right now. The barn door is already open. This whole war on reproductive rights and religion… they don’t give a flying crap about the trauma women go through. All because they believe in literal translations of their faith and are too dumb to even go into the science of reproduction and their own faith.. there is so many iterations of scripture that could be used to argue against the facts they believe. But because there’s distraught people in power; they’ll do anything to force a narrative. Amazing how this is all God’s plan. That type of blissful ignorance has started outright wars and it’s justified. Unbelievable. I think we’ve been fruitful enough y’all, we are pretty much meeting our demise at this point with how many people are on earth. Wish there was a verse for stop being a dumbass when your brother and sisters are suffering. I can’t wait till they say periods are abortions. And the sad thing is, some brainwashed, uneducated women would agree and hate her own biology for killing babies. I mean doesn’t that kind of sound like the agenda? In the end, women will just hate themselves.
And here I thought that they wanted White women to get pregnant more often? Guess they will regret this once the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this Alabaman birthrate drops. A whole bunch of people who say they don’t want this didn’t think about the consequences of kowtowing to the people who do want this and think that a fetus is a person. I love how this couple that was using IVF to have a child weren’t happy enough with suing alongside the other couples for negligence. No they had to entirely ruin the process of IVF for every woman and couple in the state. I’m glad they were able to have an opportunity that now no woman will have you going forward. assholes. If a doctor knowingly implants an embryo into a woman that is likely to miscarry, could that be negligent homicide?
Maybe they’ll think about this when they vote we saw an Alabama license plate today and realized that they actually have the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this “don’t tread on me” flag as an option. There’s your first sign your state is a shit hole!! Poor women have been facing the consequences of Alabama’s craziness for a long time for life and death care. I really have zero tears for people faced with hurdles to IVF – which typically is affecting middle to upper class people who have not been affected by the abortion ban. This is intended to be cynical: if they can afford IVF they can afford to move to somewhere that it’s still legal. We are all moving to places aligned with our political beliefs anyway. I did not want to move out of my home state, but I have daughters. They probably didn’t realize that it would be illegal when they were paying thousands of dollars to gain 5 lbs of ovary and have their eggs extracted in a painful way.
well, there’s probably a nice surplus of unwanted kids they can adopt instead since they force women to give birth to their rapist’s babies there I never thought the Poster NFL Football Josh Allen Buffalo Bills All-Time Touchdown Record 245 Touchdowns shirt In addition,I will do this leopards would eat *my* face! Reaping the reductio ad absurdum they willingly sowed. Play fascist games, win fascist prizes. Edit: I realized that I have probably violated subreddit rules with this comment, but I’m just so tired of the general public not thinking about the consequences of their ‘team/religion over country’ delusions. The decision stemmed from a lawsuit by couples whose embryos were destroyed after a patient wandered into a fertility clinic and dropped the embryos, according to court documents. I know the courts won’t feel ashamed about themselves and hick MAGA fuck conservatives in Alabama won’t care either. But I hope this person realizes their idiotic fuck up is the catalyst for this and they feel horrible. There will be a lot of Christian women who supported this and are now shocked Pikachu face when their rights are taken away. Literally whole lives ruined of women desperately trying to conceive. They may never get the chance again. I just feel bad for the women who are stuck living there eho are pro choice. Given the current laws regarding “right to life”- I think if you create 20 embryos, you need to implant all of them, at some point. It aligns with the logic they apply to abortion. For those downvoting my comment-how is it different than an abortion, according to their logic, an embryo is a baby.
